is this a bug because it's rather funny

so i signed a regen and was quite excited about playing with him but when i went to the tactics page he was there but he was suspended after picking up 5 yellow cards (i should say i moved to an english club from a spanish one) so after a bit of digging i found that he had picked up the fifth yellow card before moving to a different country but as he'd moved back he was still banned this was 5 years ago though.

so is this a bug or...?

Unlikely a bug, was banned for his next domestic game which just happened to be 5 years later.
