Maw74
All staff removed and only 24 young players remain. New Tottenham chairman Cole Archer has managed to agree deals with 24 players that are willing to stick with the club after it's demotion to the Skrill Premier. The club is now owned by the fans. Full Squad will be revealed soon. Average? Well I was happy with those applications. I decided to go with Helveg who had applied for the DoF vacancy. Maw74
Woodgate is one of five players making a return to White Hart Lane. 39 year old CB Tomas Repka also joins the club on a free transfer. Note: My transfer policy will be to continue to bring some former players back to the club and also bring in under 21 year olds to develope at the club. That gives us a full squad looking like this. I gave contracts to ten grey players Maloney, Ingram, Todd, Gallagher, Banton, Banks, Smith, Baptist and the two players who are out on loan. Currently all players in our under 18 squad are grey. I have been busy recruiting backroom staff, I decided not to head hunt staff and only employ people who applied to our job ads. Here is what we have, you will notice some making a return to the club. No surprise that we are favourites Note: I've only really had long efforts at games on the FMC version of this game, I thought I would enjoy that more because it takes out a lot of the stuff I don't really like doing, anyway after finally deciding on my game and to demote my beloved Spurs I am really enjoying the full version more and liking the new features (for example, having chats with players out on loan). It's still early days but my aim is for this to be a long term game like my Stopsley Utd game on FM10 which I still play and currently in my 48th season. Also maybe I should try to explain why I demoted Tottenham, well there are quite a few teams that I would like to manage, Luton, Bishop's Stortford, Dusseldorf and Borussia Dortmund to name just a few, it's hard to decide which one to go with out of those especially has a long term one club game, So the easiest choice is to go with the club I love and the reason for starting lower down is because I want to see how the young players progress and when I start with Spurs in the top flight I seem to lose interest with the games when the squad mirrors about 80% of real life or more. Maw74
A tough pre-season but with some of our opponents that was to be expected so nothing to be too concerned about going into the season. We start at home with a game against FC Halifax.
Maw74
Obviously a whole load of trophies needs to be added here. Can we add the FA Trophy? Will these records be broken? Would be great if they are. Won't be as good if done in lower divisions though.
Maw74
August 2013 September 2013 October 2013 Skrill Premier Table Player Stats Going well with just a couple of defeats, an early exit from Europe, I thought it was a decent draw for us but soon changed my mind after a terrible first leg. Kidderminster are keeping up with us at the moment so we can't afford too many slip ups, we have also made progress in the FA Cup after with our early entrance. Maw74
Did you leave reputation, finances, stadium and other major things the same, or did you reduce them? Yeah left it all the same, well lowered the rep a little bit, when I say a little bit I mean from 8050 to a nice round 8000 lol, I wanted to keep all those things about the club the same. Maw74
The realism in this game is actually scary at times, I mean, you wouldn't be shocked if that happened in real life! The shot count was a worry though, only 4 more than San Marino with all that possession.
Maw74
Spurs Agree Deals for Future Signings! Debayo was supposed to join at the end of the season like the others but I messed up in the dealings so he will join us in January. We have to wait a bit longer for Vadalá though and I'm looking forward to seeing how these players develope. There is a little bit of interest in Bentaleb. Here is one of our latest results ahead of a bigger update to come. Zak Bond is clearly clueless lol.
Maw74
Some more England news. Firstly, it's good to see Kane make his debut. Secondly, despite that poor result against San Marino England qualified by winning the group and here is the group they have for the finals in Brazil. I have also had a lot of messages like this. So far I haven't requested a postponement, it means that other players will get a chance and I will continue that way until it involves a higher number of players being away and maybe how we are actually doing at the time. Maw74
Bentaleb and Dier Commit to Spurs! Great news, these players are vital to our climb back up the divisions, just hope I can continue to hold off all the interested clubs that come in for them. Plus another couple of members of staff join the club.
Maw74
November 2013 December 2013 January 2014 Another player returns to White Hart Lane. Skrill Premier Table Things are going great in the league as we have opened up a big gap over the rest. We continue to do well in the cups and were comfortable against Portsmouth and Wrexham before conceding two goals in each that made for a tight finish to those games. We had a tough test against Aston Villa and we were outplayed for most of the match so I was delighted when Coulthirst levelled to earn us a replay at White Hart Lane. Player Stats I asked for a new contract and my wish was granted.

Maw74
[video=youtube_share;Vx-Lp3J-W2Q] Have to laugh at the idiots that think Spurs nicked a Man Utd song. It was a tough scoreline to take at half time as we dominated it apart from that early strike which was their one and only shot in the half. Thankfully we were soon level after the break and the game became a bit more open with chances for both sides, we were still creating the more chances and eventually we took control to lift the trophy. Next season we have five players joining having already agreed deals, we might bring in 2/3 more but I want to keep most of the current squad together, the new players are with a view to the future so they will need time to develope, we will also have to fight off interest in players like Bentaleb, Kane, Carroll and Dier, I want to keep them and hopefully I can keep them here and they can lead us back to the Premier League. Maw74
World Cup 2014 England did a lot better than in real life but still didn't make it through the group stage. Maw74
Five deals were agreed last season, Lawrence & Rusnak were released by Man Utd and Man City, we didn't have the budget to sign them at the time but when further funds were made available they were still without a club. Pre-Season 2014 August 2014 September 2014 October 2014 League Two Table A great unbeaten start in League Two, our only defeat so far was a harsh one, we dominated the game against Brighton, they had one shot which came in injury time and that was us out, annoying but the league our main aim. Maw74
November 2014 December 2014 January 2015 League Two Table Our home is not a fortress, the two league defeats have been at WHL and also a couple of heavy cup defeats. Nevertheless we have built a good lead at the top of the table and we are looking good for another promotion. Player Stats Transfers In Another player returns to White Hart Lane. Maw74
Pre-Season 2015 July 2015 August 2015 September 2015 October 2015 League One Table Out of two cups, had a shocker in the JPT against Millwall but a great victory over Everton and only suffered a narrow defeat in the North London derby in the Capital One Cup. Maw74
November 2015 December 2015 January 2016 League One Table A two way battle at the top between us and Shrewsbury, in the clash between us we were 3-0 up at half time but we surrendered that in a poor second half. A couple of narrow defeats with the most disappointing being the 1-0 loss to Peterborough Utd especially as it was at White Hart Lane. Still in the FA Cup, a big win against Sutton Utd but narrow wins since, was expecting better against Skelmersdale, a 1-0 win really isn't good enough. Maw74
Transfer Another player returns, the 37 year old Canadian GK is unlikley to make the first team. He has a double role at the club, He will play and be a GK coach for the under 21's though. Most of these players are very unlikely to make the grade with us. February 2016 March 2016 April 2016 League One Table Shrewsbury Town made a good battle for most of the season we just managed to pull away towards the end, the two games between us ended 3-3 and 0-0 so we couldn't beat them on the pitch, another team we couldn't beat was Crewe as they beat us 3-2 again. After thjat defeat we then only dropped points in the draw with Shrewsbury as we notched up eight wins in our final nine games to clinch the League One title. Maw74
Best XI (Season) Best XI (Overall) Awards He wouldn't even discuss a new contract, we will also be losing Tom Carroll as he also has no interest in holding contract talks, more gutted about Carroll as I was hoping he would be at the club for years to come, will probably try to get him back at a later date but need to see who he signs for first. He has seen us coming and decided to get out early.

Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 New Stadium Betting odds for New Season New Contracts Kane and Dier not interested in talks, four players were not offered new deals. Everyone else offered new contracts accepted their deals. Transfers Huddlestone and Kranjcar return as we splash the cash, Huddlestone will take the captains armband, a decision that Dier accepted without any problems. Redmond is a great capture and should be a big player for us in the coming season, Caballero will replace Kane upfront. Foster will take the number 1 jersey and the other players are great deals as they came at low prices and should/could turn out to be really good bargains. Kane was put on the contract list due to not signing a new deal, still hoping that Dier will but we might lose him on a free, anyway I'm willing to take the risk as I feel we need to keep him in defence for a promotion push to the PL. I wasn't planning to sell Lithgow but Celtic tempted me with a really good offer. We also have a lot of players that are out on loan to get some first team action. We have new staff at the club due to replacing retiring staff. Will post a full updated list at a later date in the season.
Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 Pre-Season We open our new stadium as we host our Pre-Season tournament, however the crowds were low and we put on our poorest showing to finish 4th, we then went on a tour to Germany and results were good only suffering a narrow defeat to Borussia Dortmund during our 4 games. July 2016 Our season started in July again and our game was picked for TV, a crowd of just under 51,000 turned up at the new 58,000 capacity Hotspur Arena to see us open with a narrow win. Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 August 2016 It has been a slow start with mixed results, a defeat to West Ham is bad at anytime so obviously not happy with that, we also suffer another early cup exit as we were brushed aside by Blackburn. We finished the month with a nice big win and sit in 11th position at this early stage of the season.
Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 September 2016 I have been getting some stupid annoying messages that players feel the club is under achieving. REALLY? what exactly should we have achieved by now? maybe stop wasting chances when we dominate games and that might help a fair bit, anyway we were unbeaten this month as we started with another draw with Shrewsbury, then it was three good wins in a row before a draw in the last game. Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 October 2016 We are now on a 14 game unbeaten run in the league, that has looked close to coming to an end lately but we have manged to keep it going with some late strikes. Nathan Redmond has made a great start at the club, other new signings have also been good and it was pleasing to see Bagnack and Bernard get their first goals and also to see Hoban score on his debut, We are now top but there are three teams on 31pts, Nottingham Forest are 2nd and we play them in our next match and Norwich City are 3rd. We suffered a big injury blow during the Brentford match. Player Stats

Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 November 2016 A very poor month picking up just 2pts and we have now lost ground in the promotion race. Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 December 2016 It was a great month, well apart from the result in the middle obviously, don't really know what happened to us there, Can only put it down to it being just one of those games or maybe a better way of putting it is that's FM for you. We are struggling in 2nd place, oh dear god who writes this rubbish?
Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 January 2017 A month of two halves, first good with three wins and the latter bad with three defeats. To make matters worse they were heavy defeats with sixteen goals conceded in those defeats. Transfer In Just the one player in and only players going out were loan deals. Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 February 2017 It was a good month and in the top of the table clash we gave West Brom a thumping. We came back down to earth with a poor result at Brighton, the promotion race looks like it will go down to the wire with four maybe five teams going for those two automatic places
Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 March 2017 A run of three defeats was ended with a 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland, we really need to buck our ideas up or we will have to face the play-offs and maybe miss out on the promotion race altogether, we got our form back on track in the last two games with a great display at Brentford and a solid performance against Doncaster.
Maw74
Season 4 - 2016/2017 April 2017 We started the month 2nd but went top after thumping the leaders. After that great performance against Nottingham Forest we go and lose to Leeds again. When we lost to Norwich City it looked like it was going to be just a play-off place but we went into our final game against Charlton with an outside chance of snatching an automatic place. Going into the last game the table was like this.... We did our bit by gaining sweet revenge over Charlton. I was keeping an eye on the West Brom score and it was looking good for us as it was 0-0 and then it got even better when Leicester went ahead, it was still ok when Brunt levelled that game but it made things a bit nervy as a winner for them would have secured 2nd place, it looked to be heading for a draw which would have been good enough for us but a late winner from Futács gave Leicester the win. So we move up to 2nd and automatic promotion to the Premier League. West Brom did finally gain promotion after coming through the play-offs.
