Loan offers during last year of contract

Hi, I experience this at different levels in different countries in different saves, and wonder if anyone share the same problem as me.

Basically when a player in the team has his contract expiring in a year, no one ever come for a loan offer even the player was offered without loan fee and wage contribution. I simply want to let them have some first team experience somewhere during the first half of the season, and decide whether they are worth the contract extension before the winter transfer window.

On the contrary when the contract is extending for an extra year the offers just flooded in, so there is a good demand for the player. Just not when his contract is expiring in a year.

I usually have the opposite. If I try to sell players in the last year I get a load of loan offers come in.

I let them go if they are paying the wages in full as it equates to a transfer fee in my mind.

I have loads of youngish players out on loan for the entirety of their last contract year waiting till I release them.
