I have a long term save going with the team I supportMan Utd, it's been going very well using a variety of tactics downloaded from here. I decided I wanted to try to recreate the system Van Gaal has implemented at United, and I think I've done it. The tactic plays a lovely brand of football, goals are scored right across the team, and it is very secure at the back. As I said I have long term save going at the moment which is in season 2020/21, as I have read in the past the game seems to get easier the further in you are with all the regens and so on. I decided in order to give the tactic a proper test I would start a new game with United, the results have been steady and pleasing as the potential is there to be seen. There isn't anything spectacular about the set piece set-ups all set to mixed deliveries and players placed in a variety of positions. OTHER INFO Don't let assistant manager do Opposition Instructions, they come with the tactic. Still need to sell of some AMC's and Wingers and get me 2 more strikers en CB's. The pre season friendlies all went really well except the Gary Monk memorial game away at Swansea which ended 0-0. aburfitt11 Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 In December in 2nd season at Celtic, unbeaten in domestic football the entire time (not much of a surprise) only dropped 6 points in the league. Most amazing thing however is my performances in Europe - 1st season got out of a CL group with Arsenal, Dortmund, and Marseille. Then knocked out Barcelona and Arsenal before losing to Real Madrid by the odd goal in 11 across two legs in the Semi-final. However I seemed to fall short on the CL because the European teams seem to do well against this tactic. luton Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Came across this tactic yesterday and thought i would give it try as wanted to start one last game before FM15. As ive never managed in Germany i thought i would try this with Bayern Munchen. My first 3 friendlies i won 7-0, 8-0, 7-1. Played Muller as the shadow striker and in the 3 friendlies he has scored 10 goals. The football is amazing and the defence is very solid. Big-Murph Posted September 25, 2014 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Currently testing this tactic with Argentina to build tactical knowledge. I have won the large majority of my games and won the Copa America easily although the South American teams at the time were poor. I am now in the Confederations Cup and England narrowly beat me. My problem is that it doesn't seem to beat the big teams that matter. Previously tested with Spain and Arsenal and had the same problem which lead me to ditch the tactic because I couldn't figure out the problem. Is there any idea's that you think could help?
