Retired players on my shortlist

Couldn't find it after a quick search.

So it's 2020 and I have my shortlist filled with players that are retired. How can I remove them from there? Thy are cluttering my shortlist.

I can't find a remove from shortlist option on them.

Help is much appreciated.

Same problem here. Stuck there forever I believe.

Hopefully it's a known issue and will be fixed next time around.

I'm sure the only way to get rid of them is to clear the entire shortlist

Shortlist > clear shortlist

I asked this a few months ago, and the best answer I got was to move the non-retired personnel to a new shortlist, clear the old one, (and move back to the default list if you have OCD)

The second best answer is to add a random playing footballer to the shortlist, select all the retired people AND that random footballer, and right click the random footballer to remove them from shortlist. This can remove some retired people but not all.

Highlight a group of players including one real player at the top & bottom of the group (All the retired ones in the middle). If you right click you'll then get an option to remove the whole group.

That removed all but two... still better than the clutter I had. T

If there are many that can't be cleared I'll try panda's suggestion.
