Guys, I'm very unhappy how strikers behave under current ME. They are isolated from the game, almost not involved, even such roles as False Nine and Deep Lying Forward with Support Duty.

Shadow Striker is much more efficient, he is greatly involved into Build-Up play and he creates chance and also has a lot of scoring chances.

After this change I immediately received very visible difference in my tests:

- Possession increased.

- Pass accuracy increased.

- Amount of CCC and Half Chances increased.

I have tried your tactics with a longterm save and here's my two cents:

Pros'

- The Defense is pretty solid, if played with gifted players (matching attributes)

- The Movement in the midfield is also fluid, when it comes to circulating the ball safely and towards the final third

Contras'

- The SS doesn't really pose a goalscoring threat, as he is either getting tightly marked by DM's or being passed on to CD's, giving him a really dificult time

- The midfield doesn't really pose a threat in the final third, since the SS is taken out of play most of the time and the IF's are being nullified by the ME (trying to score from impossible angles)

After playing around with it a little, i found (works in my save, mustn't work for others) that if the SS is moved into ST position with DF-S Duty, he provides much more of a threat closing down the opposition defense and making space for the IF's resulting in CCCs.

To conclude this, i'd consider your tactic as solid and definately helpful for players who are looking for a decent setup for mediocre to top divison clubs. Yet i wouldn't recommend it for LLM or Relegationbattlers.

Players bought: Jonathan Zebina, Alberto Rivera, Michael Arroyo, Alberto Bueno

I tested 16 games and found myself sitting 2nd and the team had almost the best G.D. +20. I think it’s awesome result for Norwich City.

Shadow Striker made 19 appearances and had average rating 7.38! He scored 12 goals and made 4 assists. This poor guy is only 135 CA!

Hello,

What is the preffered foot for aml and amr?

I find that which of his foot main is less important, much more important is that weak foot has rating no less than “Reasonable”.

What training do you use for pre and in the middle season?

If you are asking about Match. Prep., I prefer “Att. Movement”.

Have you tested it for a full season? It seems half way through the season the AI re-evaluates the teams and how they have done and teams will start to see you as a threat and change their game against you. Impressive results for half a season but could be the complete opposite for the second half.
