SMV90
I'll (try and) keep it short and sweet. I have a 24-y-o GK. His current ability is 4* and he has 4.5* potential, with my coach saying that he thinks this guy can improve significantly in the future. Anyway, when I first entered talks with him, he said it wouldn't be ideal to join my team due to a dislike of me - but a good contract convinced him otherwise. I'm just curious if there is any way I can change his opinion of me (whether it be a quick solution or something that may take a couple of seasons)? Powello
play him, praise him when he does well, keep his morale up in the team talks... It may take some time but after a while he will like you
SMV90
Thanks for the reply. I've been playing him a lot and praising him. His mood still indicates that he is considering his options. I'm hoping that will change soon.
Powello
It will, will just take some time. The more you win the better he will be aswell and you are in control if he ends up saying he wants to go just say no or ignore him and carry on playing him and winning he will soon back down
Negatrev
I find talking to the players about random stuff works well too (you can ask them for recommended staff/players, get them involved in tutoring and so forth). Also check their personality and as Powello says, tailor your team-talks and so forth to be the best for him.
