css_matt
Playing in an online game as Swansea I do my own tactics, make reasoned player purchases and get typical results against Chelsea (1-4) & West Brom (0-0) Meanwhile my mate, who is playing as Norwich, sells half the squad with any sort of value, buys a ton of under-developed youngsters, leaves all tactics to his assistant manager (all he does is change formation) yet finds himself top after thrashing Newcastle 6-0 and a very strong Liverpool side 4-0. forameuss
Maybe your own tactics aren't that good? Maybe those purchases weren't so reasoned?
css_matt
Maybe your own tactics aren't that good? Maybe those purchases weren't so reasoned? But I am not complaining about my results, I am complaining about his.
forameuss
Why mention them then? Just because he approaches the game that way doesn't mean you have the divine right to be better than him. Some assistants often give better results than I can get at times.
css_matt
Didnt say I want the right to be better than him, Im saying that considering the circumstances these are totally unrealistic results.
Dagenham_Dave
Here's my advice css_matt. 1 - Sell half your squad with any sort of value 2 - Buy a ton of underdeveloped youngsters 3 - Leave all your tactics to your assistant manager You'll be top in no time. You can thank me later.
