Football Manager 2014 Demo and Beta Update 14.1.1 Available NOW!

A big thank you to everyone who has been playing the FM14 Beta so far and has given us feedback on our social networks and forum to help us make the game even better for full release on 31st October.

We've just released an update for 14.1.0 so your game should now be 14.1.1. Yesterday the update for beta went out with an error we thought was minor, but affected lots of people - therefore, we are releasing another. The issue was easily solvable by clearing the cache, but was causing peoples games to crash. We apologise for the inconvenience.

The Demo is unaffected.

For those of you that haven't had access to the Beta through pre-ordering, you can now download the Demo version on Steam.

As always, you will need to have downloaded Steam and created an account - if you haven't done that yet, you can do so here.

Once you've launched and logged into Steam, follow these instructions:

1. In the search bar, type Football Manager 2014 Demo

2. On the right hand side click the 'DOWNLOAD DEMO' button (you may need to scroll down to see this)

3. Follow the instructions to complete the download

The Demo lasts for 6 in-game months and, as with the Beta, you can carry on your save when you have the full game.

You can still pre-order the game from any of the participating retailers on our website and get access to Beta right up until full release this Thursday (31st October).

For those of you playing the Beta, an update is now live to download on Steam. Simply quit FM14 and Steam, and launch the game as normal to start the update - again please post any issues on our bugs forum and there's a new Feedback Thread here - http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/368028-Football-Manager-2014-Beta-Update-and-Demo-FEEDBACK-THREAD

Please bear in mind - when you update the Beta, your preferences will be deleted. Your save games can be located if you go to 'Load Game'. They will not appear under Load Last Game.

This is normal for this stage in the beta and not a bug. Thanks.
