rinso Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 that shouldnt affect it, you should still be able to load the game... do you have any back-ups of the saves to use?? if not, recommend you go into preferences, and change the saving preference to "3 file rolling autosave" that way, at least if one of em dies, you still have 2 back-ups of your game to go back to... Smac Posted August 7, 2008 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Something is up if they're all failing. The chance of that being either the hdd or a random corruption are infinitesimal. If it were the HDD, you'd have other problems if so many different files were dying. If it were random corruption you're multiplying small percentages here... How much space is left on the drive? Could it be that simple? New antivirus program? New windows up-bloat? I mean update? I'm guessing that the files are fine, but can't load properly for some other reason.
