save game not loading

on 2 of my save games, they have both stopped loading and i don't know why. I haven't used FMM or anything like that so i dunno why it keeps coming up with "Save could not be loaded".

any ideas?

actually, all of my saved games aren't working now

sounds like theyre corrupt... no error messages apart from them??

i get messages saying "not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of profile1.xml

that shouldnt affect it, you should still be able to load the game... do you have any back-ups of the saves to use?? if not, recommend you go into preferences, and change the saving preference to "3 file rolling autosave" that way, at least if one of em dies, you still have 2 back-ups of your game to go back to...

Have you recently gone back to an older patch?

It sounds wierd that all your saves are doing it.

Check your hard drive for errors and defrag.

Something is up if they're all failing. The chance of that being either the hdd or a random corruption are infinitesimal. If it were the HDD, you'd have other problems if so many different files were dying. If it were random corruption you're multiplying small percentages here...

How much space is left on the drive? Could it be that simple? New antivirus program? New windows up-bloat? I mean update? I'm guessing that the files are fine, but can't load properly for some other reason.

Learn with mer and backup the saved games. It happen the same to me

So from now on, always backup games

i dunno what it is tbh so i just deleted all my saved games
i'm backing up my new save tho so it should be okay
