Thread: The CSE European Championships

    Default The CSE European Championships

You think you're the best on the CSE Forums? Prove it, Win the CSE Euros!

First off I need 14 people to sign up, myself and PaulHartman71 are already signed up, basically this is for anyone vouching for top spot in the CSE Forums, as we go through the tournament you will face each other in one on one battles in various challenges as you try to show your dominance! The tournament will go through the same stages as the real life European Championships - Group Stages (A,B,C,D), Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final. In the group stages the order will be chosen by a random number generator as will the challenges.

Are you good enough? Or will you fall flat on your face at the first hurdle?

Who knows? Only time will tell.

EDIT: Also you will each be given a nation, I will allow you to choose please don't try to get another persons country as it will get confusing, the country must be European and it is purely superficial and I feel it wil just add a bit more fun to the sign up

I now have 7 challenges sorted out in case anyones interested. If you want to know how I'm doing this, basically I've given each European nation a number (1-34) and put it into this random number generator (RNG for future reference) http://www.psychicscience.org/random.aspx I choose a number via that and then I load up a game using that nation, I then find a team/nation that I feel would be interesting as a challenge and take over them to find out the ins and outs. When I've got everyone signed up the number on the Signup List is significant because those 16 numbers will be input into RNG and I pick the four next to each other in the list, going to the right. The Challenges are also numbered and will be picked at random for each group.

That's my rambling over for tonight/this morning now I'm off to bed to lie down trying to slee for the next two hours, as is the norm on the school holidays

Never tried the MLS tbh, I tend to stick to England but since I started doing challenges I've gone all over the world but I only really do short challenges.

BTW I'm really bored so I checked who you'd be facing if there was only 7 people and it turned out as 1. vs 7. so you'd face me, I'm looking forward to this filling up now

Have some patience. Sign-ups don't usually fill for like 5 hours, so just be patient.

I know technically this has been going for nearly 12 hours though lol, also I've got the challenges for the first set of games sorted.

I'll explain the scoring system while I'm waiting.

Basically everybody in the group of 4 will play each other once. The person that gets the most points wins the match and gets 3 points in his/her group table. If you get an equal amount of points it's obviously a draw which means that you get 1 point, that's just in the groupstage though of course.

Greece - Defend your honour, defend your crown

It pretty much says it in the title, take over Greece get them to the Euros, defend your crown and you get the full points,
however fail to qualify and you'll recieve nil pois.

Load up both the Brazilian and Greek leagues, start at the Brazilian date of December 2006. Take over Greece and do
your best, you're free to take over a club side while you're doing the challenge, the only side effect this will have is that it will
take longer to do the challenge.

    Points Scoring System:

Win the European Championship: 100 Points
    Reach the Final: 90 Points
    Semi Finals: 75 Points
    Quarter Finals: 50 Points
Qualify for Euro 2008: 40 Points

Well in! Mr Wilsons back at TNS I've gotta admit I wanted that challenge coz I've been looking for a reason to start in the Welsh leagues.

Good luck, you and Smithers will need it, it's not so hard though when you think about it because you're in the same boat as smithers08 so whoever does the least bad wins basically

I just drew with Southend in my first preseason friendly. 3-3 it was.

Good work Frazza, It's amazing how many good players are unattached in the Czech league, I'm signing a few of them up, they look first division standard

Why? Who have you drawn in it?

I drew Ventspils and I lost 4-2 to them away. So I may have a chance but I doubt I will get to the next Qualifying round now.

Unlucky mate, that means that if smithers08 gets through to the next qualifying phase AND wins the league, you're a bit buggered mate lol, I thought you said you were gonna win this easy?

Well I wasn't expecting it to be a flipping Welsh team.
