Decided to start a game using no real players. Had a look through some of the international squads and found a young Stuart Downing playing for the German under 21s

Didn't know that Palermo had that amount of money to use... Only 107.5M € in Real Madrid players!!!

16 shots from the Imps vs 20 shots from Wolves... 6-2... I'm a lucky *******...

Not that funny, maybe awkward, but I never seen a team interested in a player of my team, when they want him by "court"??? (Not the best translation for that situation) Instead of being interested in hiring him for a certain quantity, for free or end of contract (he didn't have a contract with my team), they're interested in hiring him by court (???)... What the...?

It means that the purchasing club will have to pay compensation which will be decided by a tribunal - which is what happens when a club tries to sign a player who is on a youth contract. If the in-game message in Portuguese (I presume) makes no sense, you should go pester your translator about it

Funnily enough i really was rather annoyed at the penalty. However with that extra goal this match is now registered as the highest scoring C/L game, as well as a Chelsea record of course for a highest scoring C/L game.

So, I was messing around in my save when I saw Varzim in a good position in the league. I saw the information of the team, then, watching the Varzim's value, I notice they have money loaned. So I thoughted they built a new stadium. But I saw this: Year built - 2029. Almost everything is OK, except the fact I'm in year 2017...

Upload to tinypic imo, then use the forum code it gives you. I've found tinypic the most reliable, better quality and also fastest picture uploading tools. However it's also nicely simple. The forum code itself is generally the third option you are given after upping a pic. It'll look something like this Post that alone and you'll get the screen shot itself. You'll probably want to add text. Just in case you're a total nub (no offense just being thorough. I am sure you're 2|_|P3R 1337):

If you add text anywhere in here: as in in between the two [IMG]http etc... [IMG] you'll screw it up. The file code is generally letters and numbers.
If you add text before the first one it appears above it, spacing does count.
If you add text below/after the last [IMG] then it'll appear after wards.
If you're posting more than one screenshot at a time it is generally good to put a space between the two lines.

Also it's a good idea to make an account, a free one that is, so that your images are saved and you can repost/spam/show to other people/places etc. Your images are saved, three of them i think, if you're always on the same comp and I.P and don't have an account. But only with cookies etc.

i remember one from one of my old fm12 saves (deleted it now) Thierry Henry belives Gaitain to be so good at Marking that opponents still check for his presence long after the game is finished

Granada are a pretty bad team, but perhaps not that bad. What I find truly amazing is Pepe Carmona's previous record.

Wow i didn't think that was still in the game. I remember seeing that in FM10 i think. Was a great little addition. There was another thing too...something about the strikers being so accurate or deadly they were referred to Vipers or something, or wingers that were so quick. That and something about midfielders being like magicians. They made a nice little touch.

Maybe they have it down now that it isn't part of the usual scale of performance/ability appraisal and only certain types of fans/reporters/players/coaches or w/e say it now.

On an older FM they told me they were going to sack their accountants because I was so good with the finances

And I forgot to take a screenshot but I signed Florian Dick and it came up, "Dick to be Unveiled by Saville."

Chilidsh, but amusing all the same.

At first glance nothing strange. However when you take into consideration all the players with red marks are my players...well it put a slightly different sheen on things. ANY money i don't win.

Not exactly funny, but what are the odds to have this name and be born in Manchester? (to all Joy Division fans out there )

    Sadly it wasn't Man city

Pearce could not have picked those players as there was an agreement where he couldn't pick players who went to Euro 2012 (Butland excepted with him being a goalkeeper).

This guy came through my youth academy. I was going to release him, but kept him because of his name: LINK
Unfortunately his influence is nowhere near enough to be a leader.

Carlisle actually got taken over by a mega-rich oil tycoon and now they've sat in the upper half of the EPL for the last few years.

that cant be right, since the numbers dont add up. I assume that the languages setting makes 850k appear as 850m (and the capital letters for the million)

M means millions and m means thoushands (milhares in portuguese). But 850 millions it's... a lot... of money... so it couldn't be possible... yet...

How is it even possible to score a goal without a shot on target if it's not an own goal?

I'd say the most ridiculous thing there is Liverpool's 5th place.

According to my copy of Football Manager 2012, Mario Gotze has been languishing in the Preston reserves team for the past two seasons before returning to gain some match experience at his former club Dortmund on loan.

I expect this is going to be one of those ones that people post, that only the original poster gets, it's not hilarious by any means and is likely to even annoy some, it just made me chuckled in the absurdity of it all:

For the record, he's a pretty average defender, and I used default corner settings, but yes, they are all from corners, he hasnt scored that much this season, only 2 in half a season, but there he does whacking them in

They were all remarkably average. But of the 3, Baidomti's was clearly the best, a neat finish one-on-one with the keeper. Chandler was one-on-one, hit the keeper with his first shot, then scuffed home the rebound!
