I've just started an FM11 game and have 2 funny screenshots already! I have another where a player "wants to leave club" and also "doesn't want to leave club" but that's not very original like these...

So, after three successful years in England, featuring consecutive promotions from the BSN to League One with AFC Telford, I'm offered the Central Coast Mariners job in Australia. After some deliberation, I decide that I'll take the job, looking forward to the more favourable pitch and weather conditions, where I can really utilise some of my more expressive tactical options. So, expecting nice warm temperatures, imagine my surprise when I encounter this...

Well, I'm playing 3 games in 3 days (or 4 in 5 days).
I think it is funny that the FA thinks my players are supermen to be able to manage playing all the games, not to mention that I had to keep giving press conference for the match after the next match..

But I guess you already know all that and just have a different sense of humor

After living in Adelaide for half a decade I can tell you it doesn't snow here... EVER!

The only place I've ever heard of it snowing in the entire state is in the Adelaide Hills for about 15 minutes... and that was more slush than snow!

'Sithole' is a somewhat common Portuguese surname, and there are a few African nations with Portuguese as their first language, so it only stands to reason that you'd get some odd sounding names out of them (Innocent, Doctor, etc.)

It seems to be a South African/Zimbabwean thing (search the name on Wikipedia) and I'm yet to see any Mozambicans, Angolans or Portuguese with the name. Are you sure?

I'm playing a save in Portugal at the moment and I've seen the name come up a few times for Portuguese players.

Although doing a bit of google digging, it seems like the name is from a people in Africa that originated from Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Pretty sure Mozambique is a past Portuguese colony, so perhaps that's how the name has gotten into Portugal?

Not funny in the traditional sense, I was just in disbelief more than anything, think my right back position is jinxed. Away at united is bad enough but my first choice RB is injured fairly quick, then his replacement is injured too minutes later, then later in the game the replacement for the replacement is sent off :S

Ironically I still got a totally unexpected draw.

Well I see the surname "Dick" is funny to you^^. Here in germany it´s just a normal surname. Look at 1.FC Kaiserslautern Florian DICK is playing there as WB on the right side and next to him as DC there Martin AmeDICK playing.^^ Those dicks are playing well
