Claiming offside when your teammate scores an own goal. what a chop
A bit fickle tbh

He missed a clear cut chance...
Ferguson is really getting old now![]()
^ pretty sure that doesnt mean he started 4-2-4, it means he finished the game 4-2-4. that happens often.
I think he's pointing at Rio Ferdinand playing as forward..
Hardly that unrealistic in such a scenario. Plenty of teams put their DCs up front when in need of a goal, and just punt it up there hoping for the best.
Never seen this before, made me smile
![]()
Huth spent a fair amount of time up front (by a defenders standards) for Chelsea when Mourinho was in charge. Samba does it at Blackburn. Can be useful at times.
Mind you, my centrebacks are crap in all departments so it would be of no use to me. Although my strikers are of no use at the moment either.
I'm not entirely sure what to think here.
1. How do they know when the ball's crossed the line? There are no lines!
2. The referee can now fulfill his dreams of being a ninja
3. Remind me never to go to the Ivory Coast if the grass looks like that.
But overall, my main thought is "ARGH!"
Sandro break his own appearance record... Could happen all the time but I aint seen it before.
I doubt i would win the lottery...
Beijing's pitch has shrunk...

Thought this little mishap by West Ham's kit manger was quite good:

So which one should I sign?
They are anti-wonderkidsNo wonder why he's alone in under 19s.
Sergio looks worse but is much braver so he sucks but at least he's not afraid of it. Plus he has much more stamina so he can suck for longer. His high teamwork means he is likely to make his teammates suck too. And he has high positioning so he knows where to suck that has to be a good thing. And 5 in concentration means he'll suck consistently because he's just so focused on it.
Hector on the other hand is much more aggresive meaning he will suck but he will look cool doing it. And he has better technique so he'll do better unless he has to kick the ball over 2 meters away. And he has more agility so he can suck more in a set amount of time. His higher influence means he'll spread his awesomeness to the team especially if made captain. He'll also do better in free-kicks if the opponents can't stop laughing becuase he's likely to trip over while running to take the kick.
so which one?![]()

not much of a pic but a video someone posted i thought deserved reposting
http://www.facebook.com/video/video....7576088&ref=nf
OMG!! that is the best video I have ever seen.
I heard this guy was good with the ladies.

The combination of the name and the haircut makes this player priceless.
I think it's more funny that he's a near-£4m striker, but look at his attacking stats
That's hilarious!
Is this the most depressing journeyman biography ever?
18 clubs. 30 years. 32 club appearances. He's actually made more international appearances than he has club appearances.![]()
He's 46! He's not the oldest person in my save though (I'm right on the very first day of the game; I just have a lot of people added). There's a 55 year-old Player/Assman at Hanover in N. Ireland. There's a 55 year-old Player/Manager at Club Albion in Hong Kong. And there's a 50 year-old straight player at HKFC in Hong Kong.

In fact, historically on FM I've noticed there's a lot of old people playing in Hong Kong.
I would sign him, and not play him! AND MAKE HIM RETIRE![]()
Córdoba CF have recently been relegated from La Liga. The whole squad is unhappy at this result, understandably. Except one guy - the happiest person at Córdoba CF has an "Unh" next to him. So he's happy yet unhappy. Or something like that.

He isn't set as a freekick/throw-in taker is he?
There are so many things confusing about that!
Classic name!
I had a player once called Okay Kok... That was pretty funny, I should find a screen shot of him. He played on the right and Jean-Pierre Panis played down the left.
This is honestly one of the funniest I've seen. I'm actually crying with laughter!
It's just perfect in so many ways. Especially the picture of him!
I've got just this image of him in my head now, sitting at the press conference, the side just won 4-0, there was an absolute wonder strike. He's about about his thoughts and with this grin on his face turns to the media and says:
"I thought it was terrible to be honest!"
Putting the room into a stunned silence!
Only Football Manager could conjure up moments like this:
Fortunately, I'm managing Arsenal. If it were the other way round I would've marched straight down the shop and got my money back.
What did you think of Ronaldo's 2006-07 season Lenny?
"I thought it was terrible!"
I still can't stop laughing!
An oldie:

Not with that agression you are not!
Just made me glad I didn't lose, not the capacity crowd
I think the report is reffering to all the listeners on the local radio, who were delighted... As you forgot to unlock the gates they all went home.
Go for it!
I think this guy struggles to give big performances

Lmao, He was blessed with a great name.![]()
Just had my keeper (Alex Smithies) sent off in the 4th minute of a League 1 game between Leeds and Swindon.
Not posting up the images as they are too big, so I'll just post the links instead.
1) Swindon keeper claims ball from Leeds corner.
2) Swindon keeper hoofs ball down field.
3) Leeds keeper runs towards ball and makes pointless dramatic dive.

4) Leeds keeper falls just outside area.
http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/426...kfallsouts.png
5) Leeds keeper is shown straight red card.
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/5...3gksentoff.png
6) Leeds forced to play out remaining 86 minutes (plus stoppages) with a striker in goal.
Not best pleased. Going to play the remaining 84 minutes of the match now and see how I fare with Jermaine Beckford in goal. /o\
AHAAAAAAAAAAAAA
OMG!
(10letterrule)
Clearly not as determined to be a coach as he is to be a player.

Champions League FirstLeg:
Liverpool let 4 goal lead slip against Tottenham. Usually its the other way round.
Juande Ramos (who took over from Rafa Benitez) has endured the most embarrasing night in Champions League history.

Not so much funny as in amusing, but more funny as in "What the hell?" Note the position of Valencia's keeper - he, along with his entire defence bar Alexis had gone up for a last minute corner. Alexis only got a yellow card for the foul on the edge of his own team's penalty area! Justice was done thought, because Gerrard smashed home the resulting free-kick.

Not funny, but creepy sort of. Exact same as real life!! The way the goal was scored and everything
![]()
deja vu supposed?haha..
I can afford the guy 3rd from bottomi could buy a squad for christmas at that rate
![]()
Not funny as such
![]()
Heavens, that's some woeful marking!
I suppose Zola couldn't tell his defenders to mark the -1 because he didn't have a -1 board magnet.
Well well well, what do we have here? Looks like a typical "score a late equaliser but forget to defend" scenario.
... Actually, my on-loan striker must be the least sporting player in the world...
Yeah, he didn't even bother to wait for the goalkeeper to get back into his goal, scoring from the restart.![]()
FM08 :-) kind of missing that now.
Some journalist just didnt do enough research before coming into the Press Con
Press conference before FA cup final Arsenal (me) V. Spurs
Hang on a minute ..... I didn't realize this guy is in my team

He's back, and he's Brazilian!

Indulge me here guys - I'm trying to post a screenie for the first time via Megaupload and I'm not sure what I'm doing.
Let's go ....
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UZD5KP7M
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T468PRVU
Right, have these pictures appeared in my post, please? If not, how do I do it?
By the way, the screens are insights into life at the bottom of the barrel - my 10th teir wee Scottish village club.
![]()
That's where I started, but I couldn't figure out imageshack. I'll try again. So how do I do that with MU? I copied the link into the [img] box but nothing showed.
If I get my head round IS I'll post. Cheers.
I'm guessing you cant link to images on MU as its more of a file hosting site then one dedicated to images (from what i can gather from the site).
As i say on IS when you've uploaded your image there should be about 5-6 links with descriptions like thumbnail for forums - i generally tend to ignore those ones and look for the link that says direct link to image - then copy that link and stick it in the img tags.
Next try via Imageshack - my favourite:
Bu99er me - it works!
Okay, I call this 'the worst career in footballing history'. I'm looking for a player/assman for my wee Level 10 amateur Scottish village - this is all I could get:
![]()
Now I's like to follow up my screenie with 2 real-life examples. Hey we Brits champion the underdog, especially when we manage teams with no chance of ever achieving anything.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...on-graces.html
http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=2663
And finally, thanks to Imageshack and you guys, my screenies of everyday life in the footballing Highlands. I give you, the life blood of any club, the supporters. In the second screenie all my season ticket holders along with the rest appear to have gone AWOL.

In the end we did get a packed crowd of just over 60, so I guess my hardcore turned up en mass after all!
i would say birmingham have the upper hand then?
This one is all of my all time favourites.
He is a wing back, and it has happened twice.![]()
This guy caught my attention... probably not a big hit with the ladies![]()
