I didn't make the manager of the year shortlist, how?

This Monaco side were in Ligue 2 only two seasons ago where I took them up to the big time as champions, we had an awful season and ended 11th last year and were predicted 9th by the media this year.

I take this side to 3rd in this third season, only four points off 2nd and yet I don't even make the manager of the year shortlist. How? HOW?

And I'm not even relying on money as it is, overall I've actually made a profit of £8.5million from buying/selling.

Somehow I feel at times the awards need looking at because I've seen some strange decisions.

If you searched for threads with the title of 'manager of the year' you will see that there are 15 of them relating to FM12.

There are a few possible reasons why you might not have won the award & using the seach function may well proviede the answer you're looking for.

I holidayed maybe 1 or 2 league games so I'm going to rule that out.

And then someone mentions nationality, I've looked through and 99% have been French winners but there appears to be a Belgian winner in Eric Gerets?

iirc holidaying even a single game will put you out of the running, aside from illness (not in the game) how many managers take time off during the season?

I had a touchline ban and couldn't be arsed to sit and watch the game.

This is FM and one game holidayed means so little, I did so much hard work to get them there and to be ignored is just ridiculous. But if you're correct, thank you.

The touchline ban changes the picture, if you don't think it's right that your were overlooked* & have a save before the awards are announced then post about it in the bugs section

*depends on who finished ahead of you in the voting & whether you think their award was deserving, I'm also not too sure if your reletionship with the press & authorities has any influence on your chances of winning the award but it might be a factor to consider.

This isn't true. Whenever I've mathematically won the league, I'm too lazy to play the rest of the league games so I just holiday through and I still win Manager of The Year which I've won like the past 15 seasons.

Its the same for the players awards too. I`m in 2015 and Messi has AGAIN won the Ballon award continuing the trend from 2009-2015 yet i feel i got robbed last season as my striker finished 2nd....again

I won 16 championships in four countries without holidaying a single game and never once won manager of the year.

I also can't get a job in France.
