Ive noticed with the last few saves i have,,,,,,whenever i add leagues it always seems to knacker the game im playing,,,,,,i never get crash dumps usually, only after adding leagues. The game just freezes and says not responding (i have a top spec pc so its not that it cant handle it). I then get a crash dump file which wasnt there before.
Has anyone else had this trouble???

Plenty. It's a problem where too many players get added to the game season after season. There is a big thread in this forum which goes into a lot more detail.

Damm! is this common? Ive a save going at present only about half way through first season (with alot of leagues already loaded at start)......decided to add the south african league.
Seems ok at the minute (touch wood) but now im paranoid its going to effect my game.
