Currently looking to pick a club in the BSN/BSS to rise to the top, but I was wondering if the hometown of a city has an influence on potential fan base. In real life, obviously a club located in a small town is less likely to have as many fans as a club based in London or Manchester. Is this also the case in FM, or doesn't it have an influence?

Yes, it does. Also it has influence in the youth incoming.
