Converting ipad save game to android

Hi guys,

I'm basically wondering if this is possible. I have played a game through to 2035 in ipad and really want to keep it going on my Samsung Galaxy S2. I have saved fm_save1.dat to my laptop and then bluetoothed it to my phone saving in fmh_data/save_games. When I open football manager it doesn't show up. I realise this is probably because android saves the files as .asg. but don't know how to get round this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately the save games aren't compatible between android and iOS - thats why I named them differently, to avoid people accidentally attempting to load one on an incompatible device.
