1-11 Squad Number Selection

When selecting a team for a game with 1-11 squad numbers, is there a way to select which position you wish to wear each number? It used to be a case of just swapping the players around, but that doesn't seem to work any more.

I'm playing 4-5-1 and at the moment I've got:

                     7 

              6             8

  11                                    9

                    10

and I'd like if possible:

                     1

  11                                    7

                    9

Is there an easy way of doing this?

You can do it if you move the numbers into an empty slot eg. 4 to AMC, then 6 to DC and finally 4 to DMC.

Can you be a bit more specific?

I don't have any numbers to move to empty slots! I'm managing an international team if that helps?

This is really annoying me now, every team I play has at least semi-realistic numbers, whereas I have my DMC wearing 7 and my AML wearing 9 every game

are you talking about friendlies or competitions? friendlies i dont think so, tournaments just do it at the start

How nice, however they are foreigners and I have always used traditional English squad numbers

I know you can select them for tournaments, I'm talking about qualifiers and friendlies.
