UEFA seem to be working their way through every association (fines etc)

Having just read about England being next in line for a fine, it seems it will soon be easier to name which associations didn't get fined or punished rather than those who did, come the end of the tournament.

It's getting to the stage now, where rather than doling out fines or suspended punishments, UEFA should be shouldering some of the responsibility and doing more to make sure their own competition is properly policed etc.

As for the racism, I suspect every issue we've witnessed thus far is only going to be repeated during the 2018 WC. If anything, it's going to be worse as there's gonna be African teams participating. Seriously, what were UEFA expecting?

No that would be FIFA. Saying that, i dunno if UEFA do play a part in that with it taking place in a country that has a UEFA membership. I suspect they don't, but not 100% sure on that.

It seems as though UEFA have happened upon a way to make even more money! Hand out some not particularly significant fines but enough to make it seem like they're serious about issues (serious face ----> ) ... well done, UEFA

Its good that they are attempting a crackdown on trouble makers, but they need to keep this in perspective and also follow up in future on the most enormous rod they've stuck into their own backs.

UEFA have gone way too far. They've already turned the tournament into an off field joke with their ticket pricing and policies leaving pretty much every game without an atmosphere. Now they are trying to remove even the most basic human emotions such as passion. Trying to turn international football into something like the Premiership where stadiums are full of people sitting down eating snacks in extortionately priced seats. Kind of like an NFL crowd or something. Such a shame.

Don't understand this comment, there is only one fan zone per city. All supporters mixed together.

Even worse, by actually handling it like this its even more free publicity, just as the whole fifa vs beer dress girls stuff in South Africa.....
