players going up for throw ins?! why?!

iv noticed that some throw ins are treated like corners and my centre backs go up for them even though i have them set to ''stay back''. and i use short throw ins and have been caught out once or twice on the break, which is really starting to bug me bigtime. is there anyway round this or is it just set in the game to use throw ins higher up the pitch as corner instructions?

i dont see the point in having set instructions if they dont work. any feedback would be appreciated.

Throw-ins are chock full of bugs & glitches, thankfully they screw with both teams so any ill-effects of the bugs should be more or less evened out.

Yeah I love when my team leaves the back wide open for a player to score on a 1vs1 at the 89th minute... not that it just happened but..
