Player Filters

Morning,

On my game, I've finally decided to do a bit more with my youth team and try and bring some youngsters through. I've tended to buy them at 21-24 up to now.

In terms of the filters, what do people tend to set the relevant attributes at? I'll be looking at Under 18's. Is 13/14 too high (I'm in the Prem in season 2038/39)?

I'm always a fan of good physical attributes, plus determination and high work rate in youngsters.

I usually use age <= 20, determination <=12 and then for attributes for a certain position (e.g. pace, dribbling, crossing for wingers).

Thanks. I was probably aiming slightly too high for their age then, which would explain why most of them came back as 19/20 rather than 15-18, too.

The better your club is, the higher attributes you can search for. But if players are very young, you have enough time to shape their attributes.

Yep, thought so.

It's just at what sort of attribute level for their age it's not really worth trying to shape them.
