Default World FM 12 Youth Academy Challenge In Association with Ri916's FM 12 Youth Academy

Basically its similar to Ri916's thread but you have a choice of country where you start in and not just England. so here is a list of League's Available to you

    League Reset
    Brazil January 2nd
    Indonesia June 1st
    S.Korea December 27th
South Africa Not Sure on this one
    China Jnauary 20th
    Malaysia December 14th
    Mexico 20th july
    Chile 1st january
    Argentina 1st August
    Colombia 10th January
    Uruguay 1st August

But which ever Country you start in you have to start at the very last Division

Welcome to what is probably one of the hardest challenges in FM. Clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona have a reputation of bringing through youth. But their filthy rich and have a massive reputation, of course they can bring good players through, right. My question is can a small club bring through youth that has sufficient quality to play for the first team. The only person that can answer that is YOU.
Personally, I'm sceptical as to whether it's possible. Prove me Wrong. Ri916's words
Thats the Aim of this challenge. And it can be done

    What You have to do
    • This challenge will take place in around the globe apart from Europe. To start, you have to create a Holiday manager and holiday for a season. I dont want you to download a save already holidayed as general Ca and Pa's of players will already be set (minus Pa's) and will make other peoples games ununique. Similar to dafauge's challenge, you will be taking over a club promoted to the last division in any of the chosen countrys . reputation should be sunday league footballer.
    • With no transfers, you must first stabilise, and then guide you team up the leagues. It will be hard, some might say impossible, but with your managerial brilliance you may stand a chance.
    • National Title [/B]and Continental Champions League and the World Club Cup with your club. any achievement will be recorded although there will not be any points scoring.
    Tips
    • Save as Much money as possible and try to get facilities improved regulary
    • Dont make it to hard for yourself. pick a team that has a decent squad to give yourself a chance of staying up in the first few seasons.
    • start by using a compact formation that is hard to break down. take care with team talks and dont rush through the game, as you will be relegated.
    • choose a team with decent youth facilities.
    The Database
    • You can load any other league or players from top clubs ect. but you must load the things above.
    • you should also tick add players to playable teams so your promoted team should have a full squad to start with.
    Rules

    • No loans or transfers in are allowed but you can sell and loan players out.
    • If you are sacked, you can start with a newly promoted club on the next reset date.
    • No savegame editors are allowed. only cosmetic database edits are allowed. (team/competition names/logos)
    • No international management until completion of challenge.
    • Signing backroom staff is allowed
    • signing players on trial or signing grey players isnt allowed.
    Rules for this Thread

    Player naming is allowed.

General discussion on tactics is allowed, although people should not refer to downloaded tactics. They are not banned, but I would expect the majority of people to avoid them.

Screenshots for anything are encouraged but please post links to your pictures, don't post them as images as it makes the pages slower to load. Posts included embedded images may be deleted without warning.

When you join the challenge, could you post a screenshot of your manager's profile on the 24th June.

Progress of your club should be documented using this thread, I want to hear the story of your club all the way through. Please keep me updated, even if you are doing really badly.

Posts should be seasonal and include screenshots of : Transfers (to prove you aint cheating ),League table, Squad (at end) and of your Youth Intake. Anything else is optional but I would appreciate a screen of the best player in your intake's stats. Also, I would like you to nickname your best player/s of each youth intake in chronological order. for example, nickname your best player in the intake in season 1 as *their name* YP01

    How to Post a Screenshot
    • While in FM, press Alt and F9
    • A picture will be saved to a screenshots folder, in the FM12 folder in your documents
    • Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket
    • Post the direct Url to the image here.
    How to Add Links

At the top of the forum, go to 'Settings' then 'General Settings' (on the left). At the bottom, select 'enhanced interface' and save the changes. This will give you access to the extra posting tools that make it easier to post links. Once you've done this, highlight the word you wish to turn into a link, then use the link button (looks like a little globe) to paste in the direct Url to your screenshot.

Would like to thank Ri916 for letting me borrow his rules and Challenge

Looks nice! But you might want to edit a few bits taken from my OP as they dont make sense . Do they have to win the national title and their continental champions league to complete the challenge or do they also have to win club world cup

Gonna give this a go having failed the other challenge twice after 3 years!!

    Trying Mexico, holidaying now!

Edit: Not sure if teams actually get relegated in Mexico, might take over the team that come bottom but its more than likely ill just do it somewhere else.

    Doing Chile instead.

    CD Temuco S.A.D.P

This was the only newly promoted side and they look pretty decent. The Squad has a few junk players but looks like it'll hold its own, not sure if it will reach the media prediction of 2nd in the league though!

Facilties are also pretty good with decent junior coaching already established and a good sized stadium.

    Finally, the manager profile.

Might as well give this a try.
Off to Malaysia for Scottish Sunday League footballer Jim Bowman. Where he has taken over at Premier League(the 2nd tier in Malaysia behind the Super League) new boys Beverly Kota Kinabalu FC, will be referred to as Beverly from here on in, with the hope of making them the dominant force in Asia using only their youth products. All current under 20's players are greyed out so I can't even use the latest crop. The club is professional but the only staff are the Manager and the Chairman so far and he is looking to leave the club, which could be a blessing as the facilities are poor and a new man might give more funds, the stadium holds 10000 though which may garner more cash. Predicted to finish 12th the club have given me a wage budget of £3.4k and a transfer budget of £0 (although I won't be using it, it may have given an indication of what development funds I may have had).

Well I've been in the job less than a month and there has already been a takeover, my new chairman who has decided to let me keep my job is none other than German Legend Oliver Bierhoff.

I hope so too, one positive to Malaysia is that each team must play an under-20 in the starting line up so i'll be able to get the good prospects blood early on

Good luck to everyone in here. This will be an epic challenge and getting close will be an astonishing achievement. I'm starting something similar (well converting anyway) in the Big Euro Nation Challenge. I've completed the challenge, but am now cutting off any signings (expect those of 15-year-olds in extreme circumstances) and trying to maintain my position as best club in Portugal solely on what I've got and youth products. It could be interesting! Fortunately I've been extremely lucky and have a decent spin already, but still, there's pressure at the top!

Wow Toonbalmy87, you don't hesitate with progress on a challenge do you How do you feel the squad will cope with such a frantic push? Though I must say your back line looks very promising indeed.

I will probably be buying FM12 next week, so I may look to give either Uruguay or Colombia a go when I do, though I will have a look at league rules and upper tier quality before making a choice. Good luck to everyone else who has started!

This will be ridiculously hard in Malaysia, due to the fact that you have to win a continental competition just to qualify for the Asian Champions League

OK, I will take charge of Real Sincelejo, preidcted 18th(Out of 18). There is only 1 relegation spot, so 17th would be a great achievement for the next few seasons.

About to start holidaying for this. Going to start in Indonesia. I'll add everything later after the holiday.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK so I am doing this with the Indonesian team Persidago Gorontalo who, as you can see, ain't great.
With rented youth facilities it is going to be tough but we have quite a large squad so I'll see what I can do.
    Here is the manager.

Toon does the amazon state championship count as a trophy ?

I think you should start putting release clauses on your players if you have haven't done so. Also Brazil is gonna be tough for their main export is footballers lol

Perak Thang Klang Nam - Malaysian Premier League - 2012/13

    League Table

I expected to fight relegation, what I got was a comfortable mid-table finish which gives us plenty to improve on next season.

Squad - Our squad is actually very poor, much worse than BSS standard, but somehow we managed to get good results with the most entertaining being a 4-4 draw away to NS Betaria & a 5-5 draw away to Pahang after losing 4-2 at half-time.

    Key Player:

Muhd Amir Abdul Majid - The only member of our team with an avg. rating of over 7.00, he scored 11 in 23 which is astonishing considering his finishing is 4 and his composure is 3.

Finances - Finances are just in the black, we lost £80K during the year.

Youth Candidates - I couldn't choose which players to have as YP's since 5 players have 5* CA and all of their first names' are Mohd.

I've taken charge of Perak TKN, we're predicted 12th out of 12 in the Malaysian Premier League and we have 42,500 all-seater stadium!

Also the reset date for Malaysia is 15th December.
I too have taken Perak TKN in Malaysia. That stadium was just too good to resist!

A good start to my career in Malaysia, predicted to finish 12th of 12 at the start of the season we looked like relegation candidates getting beat 6-3 in the 1st game but soon the team got things together and a string of lucky results had us sitting 2nd half way through the season. Unfortunately we played the team at the top and got thrashed 7-0 causing morale to crumble. We struggled to pick up points from there but had done enough to secure survival. Finishing 6th in the league is a massive achievement. There is no money at the club at the moment and with only 25 season ticket holders I don't see that improving for a couple of seasons. Although it look likes the youth intake has blessed me with a good player in DM position which desperately needed filled.

    Default Treze Update 2014

    Babaginoosh - Brazil - Treze - 2014

Stay up - Accomplished - Promoted in 2013 to Second Division
Trim fat - Still working on it
Keep the good players - Trying to keep them but they are getting expensive and i have bills to pay
Make money - 900k in debt

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to skip an update for the 2012 campaign because nothing really significant happened.I was at the top of the division but i missed promotion by a couple of matches.2013 was a different story though. After the team finally gelled and i changed up the formation that better suited the team and the league they flourished and in the end we won promotion.

    Season 2013:
    Fixture 1
    Fixture 2

    Successful Formation:
Completely dominated most of the league with goalscoring after i changed my formation around to a 4-3-3 with 2 dm's and 1 cm with 3 strikers roaming free up top.
Results can be seen in fixture links on how well I did in the division.

    Notable Players:
Willian - GK - Stats - One of the reasons why i did so well. I was lucky enough to have a legit GK and saved me many times.
Wandes - ST - Stats - Major factor in goal scoring. Played him mostly in a DFL position up front and he produced very well by scoring and feeding his partners. Produced 26 goals, 8 assists and 5 MoM's. Incredible player in this system.

    Youngsters:
Ranieri - DM/MC - My first legitimate youth that i managed to hold on to for 1 season, until the team was in debt and the chairman took control and sold him for 110k last season. Too bad, because he looked good for the second division.
Junior - D/WR - Second year intake that will be taking over my captains position in 2 years. He is currently being tutored by him so it should work out pretty well.
Heraldo - ST - Third year intake that will be the future. I doubt ill be able to hold on to Wendes so hopefully he can replace him somehow, if not him maybe another striker i have.
Aruajo - AMR - Another third year intake that i will be converting into a stiker on the right side of this formation. He should fit in well and take to the position naturally since its a hybrid wing position anyway.

    Transfers:
2012 - No transfers in, let some dead weight go this go around.
2013 - Major exodus of 3 starting 11 players in order to keep wages down and get some cash in because of our terrible finances. This left me very thin in defense and i have been trying to just maintain until i get a good youth in to plug in.

    Finances:
Board Overview - I was bleeding money from everywhere the first year and left me in a hole for 1m. Second year is when i started selling off players and still managed to gain promotion.

    Goal for 2014:
    Stay up
    Pay down debt
Pray for a good youth intake

After having stalled out on an run at Ri916's version of this challenge, I was invigorated by the chance to attempt it outside of England. After a few sims, I am tempted by two clubs in Chile and in Argentina. And so it came to be that unknown Danish/American manager Michael Stavnsholt was announced as the surprise choice to take the reins at newly promoted CD Provincial Osorno (henceforth known as simply Osorno):

Club Information | Club Facilities | Manager Profile | Manager Information | Squad Overview | Transfers

Provincial Osorno is a football club based in Osorno, Los Lagos Region, Chile. They have recently promoted to the Primera B División, the second tier of the Chilean football system. They were previously managed by Manuel Rodriguez Vera, before the appointment of Michael Stavnsholt. Between 1993 and 1998, a period of 6 years, they were continuously members of Chile's top division although they never finished higher than sixth. Until 2009 the club also operated a basketball professional team, Provincial Osorno Basquetbol, They played in the Chilean Basketball Professional League.

A quick glance at the squad reveals that we are not a very deep squad, especially in defense and up front. We do have a nice, young squad and some decent talent spread across it. Most of them will end up seeing some playing time I'm sure. I suspect we'll have some trouble fielding a squad in familiar positions as the season takes its toll, unfortunately. If we can make it to the youth intake, we'll hopefully at least get some bodies to plug in for depth.

Financially we are looking okay, I think. It's hard to judge from the limited numbers we have available right now, but our salaries are quite well below our budget and only a handful are up for renewal this season. We seem to have a decent number of season ticket holders for our relative minnow status, so hopefully we won't struggle to stay afloat.

The season goal is to secure our continued participation in Primera B. The media have us pegged at 3rd, which may be a tall order given our squad shortcomings. I have yet to see the Board's expectations, but hopefully they are more in line with my own than that of the media.

    Up the Toros!

I lost my PKTM save unfortunately so I was forced to restart as MK Land.

MK Land - Malaysian Premier League - Season 2012

    League Table - Survived... just.
League Graph - In the relegation zone until the very last game...
League Fixtures - Finish the season with a 2 game winning streak - yeah boy.
    Transfers - Not cheating.
Player stats - Best rating = Fullback who grabbed 4 assists, all from corners.

Malaysia has this rule that means you must at all times have someone under 20 in your starting 11. Sadly the team I inherited did not have any players that young, so every game I was forced to play a greyed out player. That will change next season with:

    Youth intake 2012

Baharuddin Nazarudin YP1 - The pick of the bunch.

Goal for next season: A top-half finish would be nice.

Hallway through my fisrt season, it's not looking good for Real sincelejo. Only 6 points from the first 17 games, safety is 6 points away. I really need a good GK in the Intake, my best keeper is rated at 1 star and has cost us over 10 points this season!!!

A dissapointing season ended in Relegation with only 15 points from 34 games, and the sack came for me
I holydied till the league reset date to find Rionegro FC had bounced right back up, and I am now their new head coach. Hopefully I can stay clear of Relegation this time.

It resets between July 11 and 18. Never bothered to find the exact date, but it's in the first half of that week.

A bit more of a worrying season for me this time. Started well in the league but then struggled to find any form so going into the last game of the season sitting 2nd bottom and facing the possibility of relegation I managed to rally the troops to win the final game and with results going our way in the other games we jumped from 11th to a respectable looking 8th place. The deadwood was released at the end of last season leaving me with mostly young players. Every game had at least 6 players from the youth intake in the starting 11 so they got a lot of game time with YP12D getting Premier Division player of the year. Managed to get a parent club but all they can offer is a friendly so no extra income which I desperately need. My season tickets remained at 25, which was not good.

    Youth Intake
Due to a poor league no player really stands out to show atts for

Needed a wee challenge to tide me over as was getting bored of my current save and this looks like a good un! Say hello to the new manager of Nuevo Laredo.

So I reckon this might be a little on the hard side! Looking at our squad compared to the rest of the league shows the gulf in quality! Unsurprisingly, we're expected to finish dead last this season. My goal for the year?

    Cling on for dear life...

Seems to be a clear divide in quality in my team where I've got my real players - semi decent and the regens put in to fill in the gaps - absolutely terrible, my assistant rates them all as half star!

Hoping my youth intake insn't of the same quality of the regens mentioned above!

The Mexican league system is giving me a headache has any one had any experience with it?

Seems like we've got 2 seperate half seasons - the opening and the closing. I think the top 8 from each season go into a playoff, then the two winners from the two seasons play each other for the one (!) promotion spot at the end of the closing season.

Not sure about relegation though, I know only one team goes down so I'm guessing its a simple case of the lowest total points between the 2 half seasons. Anyway, back to the job at hand, I've only set my self one goal this year: Avoid relegation!

    duffy89 - 12/13 season

Liga de Ascenso - Apertura - 10th - League Table

After a shaky start we really picked up steam having an incredible opening season! We hovered around the playoff spots towards the second half of the season and were mcuh closer to the top than we were the bottom. For the closing season I'm simply aiming to avoid the drop again!

Liga de Ascenso - Clausura - 8th - League Table

Well, we carried our good form into the closing season, clocking 3 wins on the bounce and were unbeaten after 5 leading the way at the top of the table! Then of course went on a 7 game win-less streak where our strikers ust could not score. We ended up finishing 8th ( on the same amount of points as the opening season) but somehow it feels worse as we tailed off towards the end of the year. Still an absolutely fantastic season and I would take that again next year!

Transfers - The only time I'll have to go into some detail. I arrived July 21st so all trasnfers before then aren't mine and as mentioned above the two in December were pre arranged!

    Player of the Year

Rafael Navarrete - ML - Our most stand out player of the season, was really impressed with this lad. The fact that he was top goalscorer up until our last 2 games from the left wing shows how well he's been playing.

    Youth Intake

A bit of a mixed bag in my first intake with 3 players getting tagged and I'm happy with that. Barragán and Adame look like great prospects and have the potential to be good league players. Lomelí is welcomed with open arms are our current right back is awful! These 3 should see plenty of game time next season.

    Season 13/14 Goals:

After a great first season, I've set myself the following goals. I don't want to get ahead of myself here, we need to avoid relegation but hopefully we can consolidate a little and increase our facilities and background staff.

    - Avoid relegation
    - Bring in coaching staff
    - Increase junior coaching
    - Integrate youth into senior squad and trim squad

    Optional

    - Bring in new physio & assistant manager depending on availability
    - Upgrade youth recruitment network if possible

    duffy89 - 13/14 season

Liga de Ascenso - Apertura - 4th - League Table - Playoffs - Quarter Finals

Fantastic opening season for us this year which saw us hovering around top spot for most of it! Ended up finishing 4th and securing our place in the playoffs. Which brings me on to the corruption of the Mexican league! The draw for the quarters are based on seedings, i.e. the highest seed plays the lowest seeded club. So even if a big club finishes 7th in the league it gets the easiest quarter final game! Furthermore, when a game is tied after 2 legs in the quarters and semis it doesn't go to penalties - the highest seeded team goes through! My as well hand the league to them! So basically, as we've got such a low reputation, every time I get to the playoffs I'll be facing the biggest team!

Anyway, rant over, we drew Irapuato in the quarters and got pumped! The playoffs were a good experience though, coming thick and fast so I need to rotate my squad keeping everone fit for them. Overall, our Apertura season was brilliant though, think the team is starting to gel now.

Liga de Ascenso - Clausura - 10th - League Table

We didn't get off to as good a start as we did in the Apertura but remained solid throughout the season and never fell of the pace, hovering around the playoff spots but ultimately missing out. Still, we were solid all season and beating Irapuato 2-0 away from home was espescially sweet.

    Transfers - Nada!

    Player of the Year

Jorge Luis Valencia - DC - This guy was a rock at the back all season and bagged himself a few goals too. One of our best players.

    Youth Intake

Just one tag given this year but he's a beauty! I was hoping for a couple of strikers but I would have taken a right midfielder as well. He'll rotate with our other winger next year and I'm expecting big things from this kid.

Player Profile - José Manuel Urias (YP02a)- MR/AMR
    Attributes
    Report

    Youth Watch

Barragán (YP01a), Adame (YP01b) and Lomelí (YP01c) have all shown good signs of progression and have put in some decent performances. Lomelí is now our first choice right back although that's not saying much!

    Season 13/14 Goals:

After a great first season, I've set myself the following goals. I don't want to get ahead of myself here, we need to avoid relegation but hopefully we can consolidate a little and increase our facilities and background staff.

    - Avoid relegation - Achieved!
    - Bring in coaching staff - Achieved!
    - Increase junior coaching - Failed!
    - Integrate youth into senior squad and trim squad - Achieved!

    Optional

    - Bring in new physio & assistant manager depending on availability - Failed!
    - Upgrade youth recruitment network if possible - Failed!

We did so well in the league and I managed to get a couple of coaches in to help with training but unfortunately am unable to do anything financially as we are dead broke! Our gate reciepts are just so poor and can't over our wages, maybe it's because we only charge £2.80 a ticket and £15 for a season ticket! In saying that, even the big clubs in Mexico like Chivas and Cruz Azul charge £7 - £8 per ticket and unsurprisingly they're in debt too.

It's going to make improving our facilities pretty difficult and with no cup runs to go on my only hope is to get into the Premier league asap!

    Season 14/15 Goals:

We had a fantastic second season in terms of how we played but finances are starting to look ugly and a little worrying. Hence why I've not set any goals regarding improving facilities. We could still do with some more staff so I'll keep them up.

    - Get into playoffs again
    - Bring in coaching staff
    - Integrate youth into senior and develop

    Optional

    - Bring in new physio & assistant manager depending on availability
    - Somehow increase finances!

DOing better than I did Duffy!!!

I've found out what my problem was. All 3rd division sides in Colombia are Semi-Pro and have bad squads, so when promotion happens, the squads are not good enough to stay in the league.

That's why you keep them in the 3rd division until you get enough money to change them pro

Cheers mate, at least we were pro from the start!

Money is the problem for me, I just see no way to raise it! We're about £2m in debt so wont be able to upgrade my facilties for a while yet. The problem is gate reciepts, I can't even make a profit on friendlies as it costs more to invite the big teams than you make from them

If only we had some mate! Cub was only formed in 2004 so we've got none! And at £2.90 a ticket we'll never rake it in!

Any tips I am managing in brazil with operario on fm10. I play a defensive 4-1-4-1 to survive but still seem to concede goals and I play to our strengths with a target man and can't seem to score

    Short passing game
    Tight formation
Rigid to very rigid, especially if you have a mentally inadequate team

Play 4-2-2-2 or a 4-2-1-3 with wingers and set dm's to cover your centerbacks.

CB's should be set to limited defending because at the early levels they are too dumb to play outside of that.

Dont get cute with fluid play until your team gels

Other than that, pray you have a good CB and GK

I would agree with the above guys on tactics: rigid, simple formations are the best. I play a counter 4-4-2 that has put me in good stead.

As for getting relegated from the lowest possible league, I'd imagine that would be game over for you at the reset date but as per the rules you can join the newly promoted team and start again as it were.

On a side note, just had my youth intake pop up in my inbox and I am extremely excited about one particular youth!

I might give this a go in Brazil. I'm bored of my Spurs save and looking for a new challenge

edit: And so I find myself at... Nacional FC (AM)

    Profile: http://i46.tinypic.com/r8s0hg.jpg

I forgot to untick fog of war, which won't make any difference in the long run as signing players is a no go, so I couldn't take a good look at the squads of the three teams on my shortlist. There was a club that had better youth recruitment, but the stadium was only 10k rather than the 46k beast I've got, so Nacional it is.

    Wish me luck.

    duffy89 - 14/15 season

Liga de Ascenso - Apertura - 4th - League Table - Playoffs - Quarter Finals

Like last year’s Apertura, we got off to a fantastic start! I was hoping we could keep things going all the way because 1st place buys you a one-way ticket to the semi finals of the playoffs. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish top but managed 4th again, which meant the quarter finals again.

We drew Dorados, who coincidentally enough, had just pumped us 3-0 away from home on the last game of the season. Great. Although we played better than last year, the result was still the same and we crashed out at the quarter final stage.

Liga de Ascenso - Clausura - 1st - League Table - Playoffs - Semi Finals

I can't quite believe this! We usually drop off in the Clausura but aomehow we kept our form up and finished top of the league! That meant we were straight into the semi's, drawing UdeG. We played great in the first leg away from home and should never have lost 1-0. From there on in it was all up hill and we drew 1-1 infront of our home crowd. I'm so gutted as I really fancied this game.

So despite finishing top of the league, we crashed out of the playoffs again. I can take great hope from our performances this year, however. We know we can beat the big teams but we just need to do it when it counts.

    Transfers - Nada!

    Player of the Year

Benjamin Rodriguez - ST - One of the main reasons we did so well this year. Goals have always been a problem for us but this season, Big Ben turned on the style.

    Youth Intake

A great youth intake for us this year with 4 players being tagged. Graniolati (YP03a) looks like a star in the making, he’ll walk straight into the first team and hopefully provide some creativity that we so desperately need.

Delgado and Mora look like 2 solid centre backs so they get bagged and tagged. They’ll be my back up for next year and I think they’ve both got bright futures ahead of them. No more centre backs though please!

Perez gets tagged purely because he’s the only decent striker I’ve had come through in 3 years. He’s not amazing but better than our current back ups so hopefully he can turn into a decent squad player.

    Youth Watch

Barragán (YP01a), has now become one of our starting centre backs, forming a good partnership with last year's player of the year, Valencia. Adame (YP01b) and Lomelí (YP01c) both continue to improve nicely. Unfortunately due to a couple of injuries Urias (YP02ca) didn't quite kick on as much as I was hoping this year. He did put in some decent performances though.

    Season 14/15 Goals:

We achieved all of our goals this year and indeed exceeded them by our performances in the league. Slowly but surely my coaching staff is growing but there's still plenty of gaps to be filled. We did bring in a new ass-man and physio but only beacuse the other two wouldn't renew their contracts! Finances still remain poor...

    - Get into playoffs again - Achieved!
    - Bring in coaching staff - Achieved!
    - Integrate youth into senior team and develop - Achieved!

    Optional

    - Bring in new physio & assistant manager depending on availability - Achieved!
    - Somehow increase finances! - Fail!

    Season 15/16 Goals:

I want to build on the back of our great performances last year and kick on in the league. Also, with the new youth intake coming through I'm going to try and trim down our squad a little, hopefully freeing up our wage bill.

    - Get into semi finals of play offs
    - Bring in coaching staff
    - Integrate youth into senior squad and develop
    - Trim down squad and free up wage bill
Well done on Succesful Year how are your Finances looking

Finances are pretty rough toon, losing around 800k per year and sitting at -£2.5m. I'm hoping to cut back on our wages this year as our youth slowly replace our higher earners. For example I'm hoping to replace two senior centre backs who earn around £2k per week with the 2 from this years intake who'll earn around £30 per week!

Hopefully we get higher attendances as well but I reckon I'll be making losses until we can get into the premier league (if we get there). Hopefully Prize/TV money will be a bit better there.
