Man City transfers

How are the transfers in your long saves. Ive only played up to 5 years and Man City don't seem to spend much.
Year 1- 50mil
Year 2- 0
Year 3- 0
Year 4- 30mil
Year 5- 30mil
Liverpool outspent City by about 70 mil.
Surely City should spend more, not realistic!

The team is pretty strong right now. What do they need to spend big on? Got Toure in midfield, Kompany in defence, Aguero, Balotelli, Dzeko, Nasri, Tevez, David Silva... Thats a strong team w.o spending at all, for about 6 or 7 years.

Well, Toure is demanding to be transferred elsewhere for one thing...things like this should be happening in the game.

2011/12 - 72mil (Danny, Hamsik, Jagielka, Kameni and others)
2012/13 - 24mil (Vidal and others)
2013/14 - 9.25mil (Promising newgens)
2014/15 - 2.1mil (Promising newgens)

They still have their current squad and those additions, but notable sold/released are Adebayor, K. Toure, Weiss, De Jong and with Balotelli getting loaned out. So they keep hold of all their good players and get rid of the duds while adding quality. I see no problems in my save. They have plenty of promising newgens as backup aswell.

In the same three years they have sold players to the value of £43m with the biggest sale being Costel Pantillimon to Southampton for £6m.

Arsenal have spent £83m for the same period
Chelsea have spent £78m
Liverpool have spent £93m
Manchester United have spent £123m
Tottenham have spent £139m

and finally my club Newcastle have spent £55m

City already have a pretty fantastic squad without need for more investment. It seems that Chelsea spend the most but always end up struggling to finish in the top 4.

Chelsea always spend the most on my save but never finish higher than 7th! Man City sometimes spend loads and other times don't bother. To be fair though if I managed City then I would be buying the best young talent each year and not spending a lot of money in doing so.

I find city spend more then enough money but the players they bring in never get a game anyway and sit in reserves for couple of seasons before leaving for fraction of the price.
