WOW! How long do you spend on FM?! If I played up till 2015, that'd be it for me. I can't imagine playing in 202-something with completely regens all over the game. It loses its fun when the real players are gone and retired.
Does anyone else find that if you're doing a "start big, travel the world at big clubs" style career, once you leave your starting club you then tend to leave the other clubs quickly? e.g spend 12 years at your first club then change 5 clubs in 10 years?
Once I've built up a squad I find it difficult to leave them
Anyway,
Spurs 07-22 (current)
12 Premier League Titles.
7 FA Cups.
9 Carling Cups.
11 Charity Shields.
8 Champions Leagues.
6 Super Cups.
7 World Club Championships.
Also England 2012-2022 (current)
2 European Championships.
2 World Cups.
2 Confederations Cups.
Just about to start World Cup campaign #3.

Not at all.
I left my first club after three and a half years, and have since spent 12 years at one club and 10 at another. Of course there have been many much shorter stints in between, but it depends what you're trying to achieve at the time and how long it takes.
I can't get a career game going, and it's frustrating me. Especially when I'm actually enjoying the game. I just can't find the time to play for long enough.
MK Dons 2007-2013 so far
07/08 League 2 Champs
08/09 League 1 Champs
09/10 Championship Runners up
10/11 Prem league 5th

12/13 Prem League 1st/Champs League Runners up

I always pick a team when I get the new FM and then after a while I think i'll start a new game but I never stick with the new save. I find I always end up playing the same team e.g. I picked Bayern Munich for 08 and have tried playing as Spurs, Boro, Man Utd, At Madrid, Ajax but they never live up to my initial choice.
I've decided to just stick with Bayern until i'm favoured personnel and then I might try moving on to pastures new again. Hopefully by then i'll be bored of the German lifestyle.
FC Bayern 2007 - 2010
3 Leagues
3 League Cups
3 German Cups
1 Champions League
1 Euro Super Cup
1 World Club Championship
season 1: 7th place out of 7 in division
season 2: 6th place out of 7 in division
season 3: 6th place out of 7 in division
but, now I am currently sitting 4th place out of 7! The goal is to try to build the canadian national team into a powerhouse by getting cheap south americans citizenship in 3 years. So far I have gotten 4 players citizenship. Perhaps they will play for canada (since none has played for their national team yet).
I start my second season at Millwall, board takeover happens and new owner sacks me. Apply for vacant job at Spurs, get it, job goes well til the 3rd Round of FA Cup where Stevenage snatch a jammy winner in the 92nd minute. Fans demand I'm sacked, so board sack me.
Then Cardiff want me to save them from relegation, after just 5 matches in charge it's blatantly obvious that unless money is invested, I won't be able to save them. Issue ultimatum, fans agree, board don't and sack me. Onto West Ham who want to b saved from relegation. All was well until with 5 matches left, somehow the stupid gits are put into administration, losing 10 points and meaning that with 4 matches left West Ham are relegated.
Still, got lucky with my latest position: guided Portsmouth into UEFA Cup footie the following season.
hav any of you managed at the world cup? i started the game with Notts county and finished 2nd and then folowing season got 6th spot but lost in play-off final!
After i told the board i wanted to move on they didn't offer me new deal andtook the open Jamaica job! Winning my qualifing games for the WC against opposition which included USA and qaulified!!!
At the final in South fica i did lose 2 of 3, but i gave a decent performance against england (3-1 eng) and narrowly lost in last min to holland (3-2 Holland)! i had a gr8 year in charge!
Next i moved on to Coventry and got 6th spot , unfortuntely getting thrashed by West Ham in semis!
Currently im a Leicester and am 2nd in FEB! Mifsud got 27 in 30!!!!!!

Wht happens nxt
I have to say I enjoy the young players, developing their careers and watching what they do. Also enjoy watching some of my young players become managers and coaches for different teams around the league/world. As far as how long do you stay at a club, I like building teams from nothing, I choose Hampton & Richmond this season, I will play them for 20 years, then move onto another lower division team and build them (with almost total regens in the game left). A lot of fun to me to see the rise and fall of teams.
