Blackberry Playbook?

Recommended Posts

It's a shame the Playbook has a proprietary OS which means no apps, because it's a fantastic piece of hardware. My friend is a developer, so he got one for free in the recent "port your app to Blackberry and get a free Playbook" promotion they did. The screen is unbelievably good, the mic is excellent (we used it in a band practice to demo the song we were working on), and so is the camera. Not a good enough library of apps though, and probably never will be, unfortunately.

The Android apk support on Blackberry is only for non-NDK applications, FMH contains 300,000+ lines of C++ code so definitely requires NDK support I'm afraid (I did look into this a while back).
