    Default Blackberry Playbook?

I wonder if there are any plans on releasing on the Blackberry Playbook?

Not the kind of thing I would be involved in deciding, but I suggest it's deeply, deeply unlikely.

It's a shame the Playbook has a proprietary OS which means no apps, because it's a fantastic piece of hardware. My friend is a developer, so he got one for free in the recent "port your app to Blackberry and get a free Playbook" promotion they did. The screen is unbelievably good, the mic is excellent (we used it in a band practice to demo the song we were working on), and so is the camera. Not a good enough library of apps though, and probably never will be, unfortunately.

Isn't there a way of playing Android apps on the Playbook?

The Android apk support on Blackberry is only for non-NDK applications, FMH contains 300,000+ lines of C++ code so definitely requires NDK support I'm afraid (I did look into this a while back).

With a little Google around it looks like it should be possible to install Android on the Playbook. If so, that's probably the way to go if you want to play FM on it.
