Classic scoring

Teams are ranked based on the total points in the game. In the event of a tie between teams, the team who has made the least transfers will be positioned higher.

Head-to-Head

Each Matchday you will play a match against another team in the league, with a match result based on game scores. 3 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. In the event of a tie, the team with the most game points will be positioned higher.

Any points deducted for making transfers leading up to the Matchday will be deducted from your head to head score.

If your league has an odd number of teams then an average player will be added to ensure everyone has a match each Matchday. The average player will score the average game points each Matchday.

The head-to-head league will end with a knock-out stage where the league winner is decided by a final match in the last Matchday.

If a knockout match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:

1. Most goals scored in the Matchday

2. Fewest goals conceded in the Matchday

3. Virtual coin toss

The top 8 scorers in the group phase will participate in the knockout cup which takes place during the knock-out phase.

Each qualifying team will be randomly drawn against another in the first round. The winner (the team with the highest Matchday score), will progress to the second round and another random draw, the losers are out! This process continues until the final Matchday when the two remaining teams contest the knockout cup final.

Any points deducted for making transfers leading up to the Matchday will be deducted from your cup score.

From what I can see the rules are pretty much the same as in the Champions League game, so if you play that then you will know what to expect.

Get everyone signed up and then no doubt some red tags on 'not in squad' as the squads get updated.

Doesn't have to mean that much, but I should warn you that Jelavić never scored in an official match for Croatia. Not only that but he is usually pants playing for the NT (was never even considered in best 11, possibly won't be starting now either)

Just had a quick google and your right he's out after knee surgery, thanks for the heads up, would never have known otherwise.

Edit:- replaced Puyol with Chiellini, who's also apparently injured but expected to recover in time for the tournament....fingers crossed he makes it.

No mention anywhere of what formation options there are...I assume there is at least a minimum number of defenders you have to have

Is Llorente going to be first choice for Spain? Or am i better focusing elsewhere? is it just me or are the really expensive strikers not worth it? Huntelaar and RVP are rotation risks, same with Gomez and Klosse, Ronaldo has a tough group and has never really turned it on it a tournament and rooney is suspended?!

I can't for the life of me work out how the Fantasy league Pro one works! Anyone played it before? Can't work out whether it's one of these games where all your players can score points so long as you bother to move them in and out of your 1st XI when they are due to play or whether it's a max 11 points-scoring players set-up like the premleague for instance!

Quite difficult this is...
