3) You can hire anybody you want, but if they are at another club, you have to pay compensation to that club in order to hire them.

4) If you want to hire a manager from a domestic club, you must agree compensation with the club manager.

An exception occurs if the players wage is £140k + per week. The player will demand a £60k wages rise.

FAQ Section

*Loans*

I have had a couple of people ask questions about how to make a loan of a player from abroad. I will handle it by adding the player to your squad for the duration of the loan as there isn't a way to create loans in FMRTE. You will always have to pay 100% of their wages.

As for who you can loan, if it is realistic it will be allowed. So any player who is listed for loan, fine, players who are listed as backup or below, fine, Lionel Messi, not OK!

*Youth Players*

If a youngster is available for a direct contract approach in the game then the cost to sign them will be the compensation that the club requires in the game. E.g. If you approach to sign Bernard Mensah from Watford, the cost of signing him will be £1.21m, as this is the compensation that Watford ask for in game.

*AI Transfers In & Out*

You will be able to block 6 players from being transfered out and will have the ability to cancel any loans in your squad that you wish.

*Transfer Proceedings*

Transfer income from any dealings you make will go straight to your budget unless you state otherwise.

Transfer income from any dealings made by your manager will be determined as it usually would in a normal game, unless you state otherwise.

*Transfer Listed Players*

Players who are transfer listed usually have a set asking price. If this is the case, just like with a release clause, you can sign them for that price.

*Blocked Transfers Rule*

It is now even better as you will now have the following...

  • You can now block up to 10 players (Please state which by sending a PM back)
  • All transfers within the current season are blocked (Ends after the final game of the season)
  • All players 18 years old or younger are automatically blocked

This now means that you can block even more players and you wont have to worry about your young players being poached!

I guess you're expected a lot of PM in the near future then!

Haha, definately yeah! I will try my best to keep space clear in my inbox so that people can get in touch. When i'm away from my computer, I usually have my phone with me so I can keep an eye on pm's through that if it doesn't decide to stop me viewing the page :D

Al-Sadd.png

Al-Sadd Sports Club have just announced that Mike Nevo will become the new Chairman! The Al-Sadd directors believe that Mike Nevo has the clubs best interest at heart and look forward to working for him for the forseeable future. Speculation has already begun to circulate around the Al-Sadd camp about the future of current Manager Jorge Fossati. It is believed that Mike Nevo will want to look for a new Manager with experience at a bigger club.

With the move from Qatar to San Marino, it is believed that Al-Sadd is one of the smallest clubs in the country. Mike Nevo has promised that the manager in charge will have his full backing and will use his financial muscle to remove that trait from his club.

Leeds United have announced Brian Clough will be the new Leeds Chairman. Clough has had past experience at the club when he spent 42 days there as manager before being sacked. While he believes his sacking was unfair, he has admitted that he will not think twice about sacking Neil Warnock if he doesnt perform. In other news, there is a race against time to ensure Elland Road (the stadium) gets to san marino in time for the new season. After being air lifted to the south coast, Elland Road is moving by ship to Mainland Italy and is currently just north of Morroco. Clough also stated his amitions to improve the clubs training facilities. A further announcement is expected from the club in the next few hours.

a few questions

1. Are you going to manage al saad? as in the save game the manager is managing them. Just realised you made the manager to look at players, hence scout man

2. Are there any restrictions on who we can sign on loan? for instance is there anything to stop me signing danny welbeck.

3. How will we know if an AI team buys one of our players? or if our AI manager buys one?

4. If i transfer list a player, will he be transfer listed in game?

5. do all proceeds from transfers go to the transfer budget?

sorry for the questions, but I dont think they are answered in the OP.

1. No, that was only for scouting purposes for you lot :)

2. As stated in the FAQ near the bottom of the OP, only realistic loans will be allowed. It will be possible to loan Welbeck.

3. You will be able to block transfers on 4 specific players. All transfer activity will be posted in the appropriate update.

4. If you want me to transfer list in-game, I can do that, but if the manager in-game decides to take him off, I have no control over that.

Al-Sadd have just announced the signing of Seydou Doumbia for a reported £14,400,000. It is believed that this will take away most of, if not all of Al-Sadd's current finances, but Mike Nevo has stated that despite this, he will still continue to look towards the transfer market!

Fulham Football Club

big transfer news!

First up we have Andriy Fartushnyak, who despite being 22 can hopefully develop into a good footballer for the club

Secondly we have Alex Tuninetti, again another youngster who could hopefully turn into something good

Saving the best till last though, we have managed to snap up Ahmed Soukouna a definite future star providing that David Moyes doesn't actually use him as a sweeper...

On loan we also have Carl Jenkinson coming in from Arsenal to develop and be a back up to the first team.

edit: Could you also do a save game the day after the youth intake, so that we can add a manager and check out our youth prospects ourselves? Sorry if that is an added pain but I know some people (myself included) have taken a long term, youth outlook to this game.

Not necessary but it would be a good thing to do :p

Exuberant businessman Ben Evans has taken over from unpopular chairman Randy Lerner and has taken the immediate decision to transfer the entire club to San Marino, including the stadium and players' homes using a very large crane. The new chairman has said that he will be looking for some cheap transfers and loan deals to keep the books balanced before trying to assassinate several players to cut down the wage budget.

Transfer Budget: £7 million

Wage Budget: +200k p/w more than it already is to make room for signings

JPR, unfortunately this is the only save game you will be able to get hold. I will provide you with any information you wish to see from in-game on your own youth players though, so that wont be a problem :)

Hmmm ok, thanks anyway! I like seeing the CA/PA stars my assman gives my youth intake haha.

Just so everyone knows, there is an added rule.

Once you have set your transfer budgets on this thread, you will only be allowed to change them once during the course of the season. The best time to do this would be January, but you can do this at any point during the season. This wont affect your ability to sign players yourself (within the limits of the rules of corse).

New Chairman Uproots Club

Newcastle fans were today calling for the return of a former enemy Mike Ashley. The former chairman has sold the club to an unknown football lover who has decided to quit the Barclays Premier League to compete in the new San Marino Super League.

Spike Cashley has purchased the club in a £100m deal and spent more than double that moving the club to a new 30,000 seater stadium in southern San Marino.

One little bit of good news for fans is the new chairman has comfirmed a transfer budget of £20m and a wage budget of £900k. The message from the boss though declared that should the club fail to get off to a good start in the SMSL then the budgets will be cut and jobs on the line.

The cutting of jobs seems to have begun already with FIVE players being transfer listed

Anji - The First now - The first at the end

Anjis board have sent out a rather frustrated message to the press.

We were the first to sign players. But due to technical issues did not get to make the planned press conference.

The infrastructure in San Marino is not quite the same as the motherland.

Nevertheless we are here now and wish to announce our intentions to dominate the league, with 3 signings.

2 Permenant players that are joining the club are Leandro Damiao & Andre Schurrle. Both are exciting prospects who have a huge future at the club.

We have also been lucky enough to sign Thiago from the Barcelona B squad on loan. This loan may turn to a permanent transfer if he plays well for the club and shows that he can adapt to life in the Super League.
