Hello everyone I'm not Troy McClure but you may know me from such Youth Only Challenges as The San Marino Challenge. After 6 months and getting up to 2038 I've decided to stop playing as San Marino due to the tedious repetitiveness of the Sammarinese league & Europe failure however I came across MRT90's Brazilian Real Football Pyramid which goes down to Serie D + added levels of the state championships meaning loads of games which I like.

Marilia Athletic Club is an association of sports city of Marilia , State of São Paulo , founded on April 12th of 1942 . Currently running for the Championship Series A3 and D Series Championship .

History

Their colors are blue and white . Currently, disputes the Series A-3 of the Championship and also the Series D of the Brazilian Championship . The club sends its games at the Stadium Bento de Abreu Sampaio Vidal, the popular Abreuzão .
Founded by Benedito Alves Delfino named Business of Sports Club in 1942 , from July 11 of 1947 , is now called Marilia Atletico Clube. Interior Amateur Champion with only one year old in 1943 , professionalized in 1953 , and his first professional game was played against the team from Rio Claro , a 3-1 victory in the stadium Bento de Abreu .

The beginning of a rivalry

Why Brazil?

The sheer amount of games amazes me, once you get to the top you could see atleast 90 games per season!

I could be competing in:

Copa Libertadores/ Copa Sudamerica/ Recopa
Club World Cup.

It's an amazing and massive prospect and I've not seen too many people play in South America so all the more reason for delving into the unknown.

All of those physio's apart from the best are now unemployed, and hopefully I'll get the recruitment up a bit more mid-season, if the reserve match is anything to go by...it'll be pretty decent.

2011 Pre-Season

Other than the massive win against the reserves then the results may look bad but we actually played verry well getting a draw against Bragantino who are 2 divisions higher than us, and the losses against Ponte Preta & Figueirense who are in the First Division, the highest Division in Brazil, we've also been given the title odds:



We're expected to be promoted, I'm hoping to deliver but I'll also accept mid-table.

6 games played, 2 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss and that's because both our main goalscorers are injured, Paulinho got injured in the first game of the month and is out out for another 3 weeks with strained knee ligaments. Also for some reason we weren't in the Brazilian Cup, hopefully that changes next season/

We had no games in August and we have no games now until the Pre-Season so all that was left was the Youth Intake:







Camilo has the potential to be a good First Division central defender in the future and since my Assistant has JPA 13 and JPP 17 he can't go too far wrong.

Ismael (YP1a) - Played in 10 Under 18 games got 3 assists and an average rating of 6.85.


Camilo (YP1b) - Played in 13 Under 18 games but only managed a 6.13 rating, his attributes raised near the end of the season but dropped off again right at the end.

Pre-season was again quite poor losing to our feeder team, thankfully we managed to at least pick up a win. Again we're favourites to get promoted so I'm hoping that we can go one step further than last season.

A great month, we just have the 2nd leg of the Final before we move onto the Fourth Division, we also have another one of those "Brazilian Goals" the 3rd goal of a 4-0 thrashing of Sertaozinho.

This is my "Goal of the month" scored in the 3-1 win against Operario, in the 93rd minute by Rafael Gomes completing his hat-trick, he also scored in the 5th and 29th minute. Now to explain the goal;

It was the 92nd minute, we were winning 2-1 and Operario had a corner so they brought there Goalkeeper up, they had a missed shot that my player managed to pass to Rafael Gomes who managed to well...deliver the goods!

We won and...we won, winning both the Fourth Division and the Terceirona Paulista sees us get promoted to the National Third Division & the Sao Paulo Second Division next season.


Squad


The squad is still quite top heavy and we could you a couple of backup defenders and backup goalkeepers to come through soon.


Youth Players:


Ismael (YP1a) - Improved a lot thanks to 17 first team appearances getting an average of 7.02 aswell.


Camilo (YP1b) - Again improved a lot and fits in well getting a solid 6.83 in 27 first team appearances.


Bodao (YP2a) - He should be in the first team next year where he will definitely only get better.


Allan (YP2b) - Again his training is helping and should have a couple of spells in the first team next season.

2013 Pre-Season

Another mixed Pre-Season with a good 2-0 win over Chilean side O'Higgins. We've also been expected to gain promotion from the state championship & the third division which I think is too far ahead of what I'm capable of achieving this season.

Nope, there was that then Avoid Relegation and all the normal ones so there's not much hope so far.

We've got 1 foot into the Final! For the last game I decided to change from the Brazilian 4-2-2-2 to an attacking 4-2-4 and it worked amazingly with us getting this goal which won goal of the month:

Thanks Rancer, we had an average of 2,100 this season which is over double last season and over 5 times more than 2 seasons ago, atleast the bandwagon is going in the right direction!

Hopefully noone will come for them, Vitoria in the Brazilian First Division tried snatching Camilo (YP1b) but I upped his asking price so nobody wanted him, hopefully it will stay that way too.

Our reputation has now skyrocketed next year we play in the Sao Paulo State Championship and the National Second Division so already we're nearly hitting the big time!


Squad


Hopefully next season our strikers score more, in 46 games our top goalscorer scored 8. Pretty bad if you asked me, even if there is alot of rotation.


Youth Players:


Ismael (YP1a) - averaging 7.24 and is improving dramatically!


Camilo (YP1b) - almost averaging 7.00 and is most likely to be the first YP to get 100 appearances after 42 appearances this season.


Bodao (YP2a) - Improving alot and is rotating with pretty much every other striker since we're still top heavy.


Allan (YP2b) - 18 first team appearances averaging 6.91 pretty solid.


Kasado (YP3) - Unable to play professionally until his 16th birthday which is on April 6th and only had a small impact in the Under 18's so far.

We did well getting to the Quarter Final of the State Championship as we were hitting way above our weight, it was the exact opposite story in the National Division as we see ourselves back in the Third Division next season.


Squad


Our strikers were scoring alot more, but we still need a stronger back 4 & goalkeeper.


Youth Players:


Ismael (YP1a) - Called up and received 6 Brazil U20 caps and was pretty solid in the league.


Camilo (YP1b) - Also got called up to Brazil U20's and got 2 caps, still improving and has 115 league appearances already!


Bodao (YP2a) - Starting to score some goals now but is still very inconsistent scoring 17 in 53 games.


Allan (YP2b) - Not too sure about Allan, he was mainly used as a sub and only started 8 times all season.


Kasado (YP3) - Same problem as Allan, we don't use DM in the tactic we only have CM and now that (YP4a) has come along it's going to be harder to get starts.


Nilson (YP4a) - Made 3 starts already and got a goal in his 2nd game, all good signs so far.


Mauricio (YP4b) - He's also turned 16 but due to our striker quality I've left him in the U18's so he can play and so far he's gotten 11 in 14.
