Actually, while I'm thinking of team names I may as well add a second team like most have in here, the rule was not in the sam league system as your first team wasn't it. So, with my first team being Armenian, my second team will be:

    THE FORM
    Nationality: Lebanese
    Name of Club: Beiruti Cedars
    Chairman Name: Zaki Maalouf
Chairman stats will be random, with the exception of loyalty. Don't want you leaving, do we?
Home Kit: Red shirts, white shorts, green socks.
Away Kit: Pink shirts, black shorts, black socks
    Stadium Name: Cedar Park
    Preferred Manager: Laurent Blanc

Chairmen have been granted £100m each to spend on the following areas:

Youth facilities (£1m per level): £5m
    Youth academy (£10m): No
Training facilities (£1m per level): £20m
Stadium Size (starts at 15000, £5m for each additional 5000): £20m for extra 20,000
    Reputation (starts at 3000, £4m for each additional 500): Extra 1000 = £8m
    Transfer Funds: £47m
Bank Balance Whatever is left over: £0

Cheers guys! Going well so far; European Premier has been completed, currently underway with Div 1. Made a little graphic I'll update as I go through the DB, to keep you all informed as to how things are going:

Progress updated in the second post. Europe and North America are coming on well.

If anyone is still interested in signing up, you'll need to be quick if you want to create your own club! Once the game begins, you're still welcome to take over an existing club, but you won't be able to customise any of the details.

Still looking for assistance with any yet to be complete club's name, stadium and kits, for those with the time willing to help out.

    Hopefully not long now everyone.

You've already got one team so only one more (of these two) can actually belong to you. But assuming you're okay with this I'll use the others' details for an AI-run club. Which of the two clubs would you like to be yours? Considering your Bahamas side is from a different confederation from both, either would be acceptable.

Wow, you two are doing a cracking job! I've just finished Europe (phew!), as the update progress chart on the second post should now show. That's three countries completed!

You've already got one team so only one more (of these two) can actually belong to you. But assuming you're okay with this I'll use the others' details for an AI-run club. Which of the two clubs would you like to be yours? Considering your Bahamas side is from a different confederation from both, either would be acceptable.

My bad, I'll take the Korean team if thats okay.

I think that's all of them.. wow, cheers everyone.

Especially toonbalmy and nie jem frytek, I think nobody can complain when I award the two of you £10M to spend across your club/clubs as you wish!

All those of you who helped out as well, MattSpurs, mightymariner, jimbowman, ri, PRDH, andy_ffc, letissier and gurfling; you get an additional £3M to spend across your teams.

This extra cash can be put into any category of the club you were available to invest in upon signing up.

All clubs now have details and I'm almost half way through the DB (further than half way time-wise, having done the groundwork and advanced editor learning which enable me to work quicker). Anyone can still sign up, taking any of the clubs still in the list with a (D) after their name in the second post. These can still be changed as you wish. Once the sign-up begins however, even though you can still join in and 'take over' a club, you will no longer be able to edit or customise them freely. Therefore, if you want your own team, sign up as quickly as you can!

I'm starting to get excited! Just a quick question, are the stadiums going to be based in the actual nations? If they are, it will be interesting to see which clubs best nurture their young regens the best and which national teams dominate in the future I know this is a club sign up but I can't help but feel curious haha

Yep - both the club itself and the stadium is based in the capital (unless otherwise specified by the club name) of the chosen nation. So nearly all regens will be of the nation of the club. I will be keeping everyone up to date with all the major international competitions, and I too am interested in seeing if the new clubs can have any impact on lesser footballing nations.

If you want to join in, you can read to find out what you have to do on the opening post of this thread.

The nations still available are those listed on the second post with a (D) by their names. The managers listed below are those not available; you'll need to choose one that isn't on that list.

151/208 clubs added to the DB now; just about 75% of the way through. Should be up and running (after tests) on Tuesday; it'd be nice to have a Monday start but I don't want to set myself deadlines I'm not sure of meeting; especially considering I'm busy this weekend.

This means for those of you who still want to sign up (despite being a little slow on the draw!) have just a couple more days to post their club details if they want to be directly involved with the game. Get going!

Slight change that I know a few of you were a little concerned about; all stadiums have 120k expansion capacity now; so hopefully there won't be any new stadiums being built as clubs can simply increase the size of their current grounds if they choose.

That's fine, you shouldn't miss any important decisions or events if you can't get on.

Most probably yeah, I reckon it'd probably be quite a fun database to play.

Cheers! Everything should kick off at around half past seven, and resume kicking off at 10.

    While I'm here...

    FINAL NOTICE

If you want to enter a club and for some reason haven't done so yet, or wish to edit a club you've already registered, you have until 18.30 BST to do so - just under an hour and a half. Anything posted after that time will not be accepted I'm afraid. You have been warned!

Let me know if there's any mistakes with this. Figured I'd get a last minute entry in as this looks interesting!

    Nationality: Saudi Arabia
    Name of Club: Arabian Knights
    Chairman Name: Mustafa Mustafa
Chairman stats will be random, with the exception of loyalty. Don't want you leaving, do we?
    Home Kit: All green
    Away Kit: All white
    Stadium Name: Allah Sami Yen
Preferred Manager: Gabriel Batistuta (not sure if he is in the game, if he isn't then Roy Keane)

Chairmen have been granted £100m each to spend on the following areas:

Youth facilities (£1m per level): 15 (15 million)
Youth academy (£10m): Yes (10 million)
Training facilities (£1m per level): 15 (15 million)
Stadium Size (starts at 15000, £5m for each additional 5000): Extra 10,000 - stadium size of 25,000 (10 million)
    Reputation (starts at 3000, £4m for each additional 500): 6000 (24 million)
    Transfer Funds: 10 million
Bank Balance Whatever is left over: 16 million

    Is everything fine with that?

Right - database is fully done now, and I'm going to run a short test during the England match, so I'm afraid there won't be any official updates until afterwards. But we're nearly, nearly there..

Testing is finished, and everything works fine, which is a minor miracle if I'm honest. I'm shattered so I'm afraid I'm going to bed without starting the game thread tonight, but rest assured it will be up tomorrow along, hopefully, with the first game update. Sorry for dragging this sign-up out for so long - it's taken me bloody ages, far longer than I was expecting!

And thank you all for being so patient! I hope nobody's disappointed with the fun we're going to have over the next few months.
