    To clear up; there's a chance I may allow second teams, if interest in signing up does not pick up over the next week or so. If I did allow them, then;

    a) The second team would have to be from a separate continent to the first
    b) Challenges could only be entered once per person, with a choice as to which team to award any prizes to

I do; but I haven't started accepting second clubs yet. I'm going to give it a few days longer for any further interest.

Asia is probably the least populated thus far, but Africa and North America aren't far behind.

Are you going to close the sign-up tomorrow as planned or leave it to see if more people want to get involved?

I'm still not sure; I may end up leaving it open as I carry on building the DB, but start allowing second teams tomorrow. As soon as the DB is complete, I clearly won't be accepting any more entries.

SECOND TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED NOW

The team must be in a different confederation to your current team however. There are no other stipulations.

Of course, I'll still be accepting new entrants with their first (and if they choose, second) choices.

When is the second team deadline by? I don't want anything to do with a second team but if you still have spaces left by the end, I don't mind helping with a name and everything else that is required. Would that be ok?

Unfortunately I don't think I can put a start date on it; there's still a lot of places to fill (either by people signing up or by AI controlled teams I'll have to create), as well as a lot of DB building. Also I've got five end of year exams at the end of this month that are starting to creep up on me, but work on this is ongoing and hopefully I can get it underway sometime in the near future. I hope everyone is okay with waiting a little while longer!

Currently 84 out of 208 spots are filled (just over 40%). Getting this up to half - that's another 20 teams, is the goal, I think. I'm building this DB as I go, so any entries over that wouldn't cause any problems.

No, I think two is enough! If the spaces are not all filled by the time I've finished the DB and finished uni for the year then I'll just create generic teams to fill the remaining spots.

Pretty much, it's going to get started pretty soon after the end of my exams! (Last one's the 31st May). Hopefully there'll be a few more signed up by then but it shouldn't be too much of a problem if not.

Looks fine to me; except Bielsa is already selected I'm afraid. There's a list of chosen managers in the second post of the thread - any names you don't see there (that are in the DB) are open to selection.

I've seen that some people created second clubs. Can I create my second? And it's allowed to decrease capacity of the stadium to have more money to spend on other areas?

Yes, you can have a second club

No - the stadium must have at least the 15000 seats it starts with.

Basically I'm just gambling that having a massive stadium may provide some advantage. If otherwise, my chances may not be so good...

Exams are all over for me now, so I finally have time to crack on with this. Due to the fact that I'll need to be creating 6 sets of nation rules and 1 set of continental rules (impossible I believe to do with one DB in the normal editor) I'm going to have to use the advanced editor, and start from scratch. Having no experience with it, I may take a little time learning how to use it correctly, but I anticipate that this database should be built in around 2 weeks or so, assuming no major problems.

Having had the last few days to learn and acquaint myself with the advanced editor, I've spent a fair few hours today working on the database. I've completed South America - that is I've created all the clubs, competitions, rules, etc, and am about to start testing. I'll let you know how it goes, and perhaps upload a cheeky screenshot or two.

Hopefully will be up and running in a couple of weeks if things go well.

Testing seems to be going well too; just letting it run till the start of the next season to check that the Super Cup is completed successfully. Here's a few pictures to whet your appetite:

A shame for some of those sides that this is only a test; and those results mean nothing!

Cheers guys. I've spent the morning expanding the DB to include all things Oceania, and have just finished. Into the testing phase now, but we now have two of the six nations complete, and just over 10% of the overall DB finished. (It's a big project!!)

If I could perhaps ask a favour of anyone who wants to help out:

I had to create 5 teams myself and I'm not the most creative of people. If you choose to help, it'd be very useful for the remaining nations (listed in the second post) to be given
    - names
    - stadium names
    - kits/colours

Obviously you shouldn't worry about South America (as it's filled) and Oceania (as I've done it), but the above criteria for as many clubs as you feel you want to help with would be very much appreciated. They won't be your clubs (you'll have no control over them as you would with the clubs you fully created yourselves) but of course you may end up supporting them some what, and I'm expecting to give small rewards to those who help out.
