installing fm 2012 ona second computer

i just got myself a laptop and have just installed steam on it now its asking me to install fm2012 do i have to install it for every new computer/laptop or should it play instantly without instullation

You'll have to install both Steam and FM on each computer. It's stored and run locally.

Yeh the files download and install on each computer. Which is really just sensible..imagine the bandwith usage if every time you wanted to play FM you had to open it from online, that would be over 2 gig a time, then anytime the game wants to make the regens would involve more online work.
The games on steam are stored on your computer and downloaded once. Saves time and internet.
