How does one enter reserves into competition matches? Eg: WerderII in third league.

as the title says, if it is posible, how and/or when can you have your reserves playing in devisional matches or at least competition?

Doesn't it happen automatically in Germany? You don't have to do anything.

If you're playing in a country where reserve teams don't enter competitions, then it's not possible to make them do so.

If you haven't started the save yet, the best way would be to download the lower leagues from Germany so you can get the regionaliga playable so the reserve teams get fixtures.

thanks, but my save has started already. I have never had a reserve team playing competition other than it playing from the start of a save, just curious and wondered if it was a board request or something.

If your reserve team plays in the league directly below the German Third Division then there is a chance they will get promoted into the Third Division. You can save and reload just before the teams get promoted as it is slightly random who gets promoted. If they don't play in the league directly below the German Third Division then you are out of luck. There is no board request option, as far as I know there isn't a reserve league in Germany and all the reserve teams play in the league pyramid and if your teams is rubbish at the start of the game then you basically are going to have to play without a reserve team.

Hmmm, well friendlies here I come, gets anoying setting them up constently though and would rather thay played in a competition. Though as you stated, nothing to do about it.
