Random dates in player info?

So, I was going to buy a youngster called Daniel alonso, when it said in his player info 96/97 season he played about 100 games and score about 13. The other date was the season I was in, 19/20. I ignored this.

I was looking at liverpools squad the other day and I looked at ganso's info, when I saw he'd played 83 games in 1 season for Liverpool, and it was in some ridiculous year, I think it was 52/53.

Why does this keep happening? I don't know hOw many other players hve this.

I will post pictures soon, I'm on holiday in Portugal at the moment so don't have a computer to upload them (on my iPod now)

Would you mind forwarding your save game onto me (marc.vaughan@sigames.com) when you get a chance (I realise you can't do it now) - as I'd definitely be interested in taking a look at that - obviously shouldn't be happening, I'm guessing its an incredibly rare cause otherwise I'd have heard about it before now.

Had a quick look at this now and it seems to be the weird player histories that are causing the crashes as well, I'll give Marc a bit of a kick about it and see if there's anything he can do to fix it.

Did the weird histories only start appearing this season? I don't suppose you have a save from the season before that we might be able to reproduce it from?

And I have no idea when they started, my game hadnt been working for a while so I went to sing a promising player and I noticed the dates in the history.

Just to update you - I think yours is the save game I've just looked at (in fact I'm sure it is because of the mention of the Burnley crash).

Hey - working fine, but I had a loo kat burnleys squad to see what was causing it to crash, and I came across this -

Yep, we've seen that, I believe it's the result of whatever's been done to stop that particular crash from affecting your game. Thanks for pointing it out, though!

It has sort of messed my game up a bit though, eg a player worth 3.6 million - because of those wierd transfer things you put in - Spurs want to sell matt briggs from 79,000,000.
