West Ham Possible Takeover - Plan to bring in Eriksson as Manager - Dean Ashton's returns to football with a bang
The consortium led by Hammer's Legend, Dean Ashton and co are all set to complete his takeover of West Ham, they are preparing to introduce new directors to the board of the newly promoted English Premier League club as it moves towards finalising a deal with Gold and Sullivan
There are rumours flying around that he wants a new manager at the club and Big Sam will be stepping down with a hefty payout.
After a week of excited claims about the star players the newly enriched club might now try to recruit, Dean Ashton has announced that if the takeover is successful then he will be concentrating on a calmer, more structured approach to developing a team capable of challenging for football's highest honours, and with the use of West Ham's excellent youth facilities they will be aiming to become one of Europe's elite clubs. Ashton officially announced his 3-year-plan, and that he expects the club to be challenging for Top 4 by the end of the 3-year-period. The [new] manager will have his full co-operation of him and his board.
Ashton will be willing to sign of on a few new players in the comings weeks before pre-season in an attempt to bolster the team chances of Premier League survival and hopefully for future triumphs, The list of possibilities are endless but Ashton is likely to be targeting young talent from around World and European football.
New Manager Possibilities
The odds on favourite to replace Big Sam when the takeover is complete, is Sven Goran Eriksson, who was seen with his agent leaving Dean Ashton's home earlier today.
