Is there a way to deactivate the game & key code and sell it on?
It was possible to do it for the 09 version but I'm not aware of the process now.
I have the boxed version (registered on Steam) and it's just sitting gathering dust since I have FM2012.

Uninstall the game completely and it will ask you if you want to retain the activation code.

If you have registered it on Steam then no as it's not possible to unregister Steam games.
