Nice to know Domag won more times against Fiore. =)

Meh, Moridin looks like a one man show at the moment![]()
TM could we get screen shots of the great saves as well? Make it a bit more fun to be the GK.

lets hope we can get to the cl groups :P
Great result lads, we can push for the champions league, let me at Messi, Rooney, Van Persie, Ronaldo they wont score past me haha
Yes, your Stamina is increasing a bit at the moment. From the chart, you started with 6 Stamina and your currently 8.
Your right, Domagnano are about to enter a very interesting season. Lets hope they can perform
There's always next seasonIf both teams do very well, who knows, their may be 2 spots from Champions League football in the 3rd season!
The first half looked to be a stumbling block again for Domagnano, but Fiorentino weren't exactly impressive as such, but in the second half, Domagnano totally dominated and I think that's how the possession numbers evened out.
I'll do my best to get you some more videos.
36 goals in 19 gamesplob Dork really is showing what he's made of
how's the world cup qualifying coming along...??
San Marino Vs South Korea - Friendly Match
San Marino World Rank: 139th
South Korea could possibly provide a big test for our lads. Fitness is considerably low after a long and gruelling season and having only played a match 3 days ago. The previous match against Mexico will give our lads a big boost, but South Korea aren't far behind in the World Rankings (36th). Park Chu-Young could be the biggest threat, who has played very well for Arsenal this season. He has also scored 9 goals in 12 games for South Korea this season!
Team Line-Up
Formation: 4 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 1
GK - Arawn Moridin
DR - Davatzis
DC - Richard Marino
DC - Luke Corcoran
DL - Giuseppe Faci
DMC - Simone Finke
MCR - Animosama
MCL - Alessio Gentile
AMR - Stefano Duffinci
AML - Walter Ashario
ST - Scevola Zangari
I've decided to go with Possession football as South Korea don't appear to be the type that can cope with that. Hopefully i'm right
South Korea Formation: 3 - 5 - 2
South Korea are using a very unusual formation, so Animosama and Gentile will have to be on form today in the middle of the park!
First Half...
21st Minute: Davatzis uses his skill on the right hand side and gets past two players, passes into the box for Zangari, Zangari!!! He hits the side netting! Close call for South Korea.
32nd Minute: Ashario floats a corner in for Marino at the front post, Sung-Yong clears, Animosama runs across to collect the ball and puts in a cross that lands right on Marino's foot! GOALLLLLLLL!!! Marino smashed the ball straight in before anybody could even get close! San Marino 1 - 0 South Korea.
41st Minute: The San Marino defence is caught off guard and Gook Jung is clear through!!! WOW! What a horrible shot! High and Wide. San Marino were lucky and the defence needs to wake up.
Half Time...
San Marino are currently dominating possession (65%), but South Korea have played very well with what little possession they've had and have stumped us going forward. We have 2 shots, to their 6, but we have the goal. I've decided to switch our formation back to the usual...
Formation Change: 4 - 1 - 3 - 2
Substitutes...
Alessio Gentile Off, El Toono On
Walter Ashario Off, Daniel Park On
Luke Corcoran Off, Guisseppe Leoni On
El Toono will line up in the AML position as I feel his pace, along with his crossing ability could cause South Korea Problems. Daniel Park played well in the recent match against Fiorentino, so I feel he deserves to play and Corcoran is having a horror show, so Leoni will hopefully provide some stability at the back. Gentile and Ashario are very low on fitness, so that's why they are replaced.
Second Half...
46th Minute: South Korea work the ball forward, Chu-Young has a shot, but yet again it's over the bar!
49th Minute: Finke picks up the ball in the center of the park, passes to Duffinci and he puts a wonderfull ball through for the on-running El-Toono! GOALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Instant impact from the make-shift AML! He slotted past the keeper with ease... San Marino 2 - 0 South Korea!
70th Minute: Sung-Yong puts in a well rehearsed cross, outside the box to Jung-Soo, he works an angle and goes for goal! FANTASTIC STOP FROM FACI ON THE LINE! That was going in, Moridin was beaten, but Faci stayed on the back post just in case and it's paid off!
85th Minute: Davatzis goes down injured, but it appears he will be able to play on.
Full Time... San Marino 2 - 0 South Korea!

Verdict: As predicted, a very tough match, but I feel that we played the most dangerous football and despite South Korea's obvious dominant stats, they didn't play as well as suggested. El Toono was a shock goalscorer, but i'm glad I brought him on. Daniel Park was disappointing again and I think Zangari along with Plob Dork are the obvious front 2 players at the moment.
Not happy at Lorenzo's lack of involvement on the international scene. Not even from the bench. =(
Finke still more solid than spectacular. Hope to see him start getting a few assists.
Aww, I'm not in too.. Nvm, missing one int match is better than playing in low fitness and getting injured for a few months..

Campionato Sammarinese Team Stats
Fiorentino Squad Stats
Fiorentino have had a very good season domestically, but came up short in the end with a loss to Domagnano (3-1). They did however win a trophy, the Taca Titano! This meant that Fiorentino were already destined for Europe next season, but which competition, they were unsure. However, since their loss to Domagnano, they have learnt that they will be in the Europa League next season. I believe this may not be such a bad thing, as it will be much easier to progress and they have a very good chance of getting far.

Good to see that Animosama finally did something useful on the international scene
There might not be a better player at his role than Zangari. 22 goals and 24 assists in all competitions proves this to me. The perfect pairing partner as a target man.
Looking forward to next season. Just need some more stamina.

Domagnano have had a fantastic season and it's no small thanks to Zangari who has been just as good creative wise and he is with his goalscoring! Daniel Park who partners Zangari is seen as the man that pops up everywhere, with some fantastic goalscoring this season, but many believe Park fails on the big stage. However, he will have a big chance next season to prove his critics wrong as Domagnano embark on the Champions League journey! Another big creative force is Jake Stothard, otherwise named "THE GIANT", weighing in at 17 Stone 8 Lbs and stands at a massive 6'11". Stothard's impressive flair allows him to trick his opponents on a regular basis and if he manages to train his Technique, he could become one of the best inside forwards in the world! To finish off this team, they have Richard Marino at the back who is their giant at the back and a big problem for opposition teams defending corners!

Fiorentino
Plob Dork - Fractured Arm - Expected to be out for the next 4 to 5 weeks.
Walter Ashario - Groun Strain - Expected to be out for the next 6 to 12 days.
Domagnano
Davatzis - Thigh Strain - Expected to be out for the next 4 to 5 weeks.
Out of all those goals only 1 assist. But I guess it makes sense considering Fullbacks aren't really used that much in such an easy game
Amazing games against Santa Colomo, hopefully the strikers can keep that great form rolling in to the next qualifying rounds.
We are Domagnano hear us roar!!!!!!!!!!!! Roar!!!!!!!!!!!
Zangari is a five star striker!!!
A good 8-0 result against linfield, shame DiSalvo couldn't get on the scoresheet tho!
Lovely score over Linfield I'd say. Definitely a much tougher opponent than that pesky U.E. Santa ColomaDomagnano will be pretty lucky it seems with the CL's Champions play-off thingy. I wasn't expecting Linfield at the first time of asking to be honest.
Champions League & Europa League Ties
Fiorentino are set to play Debrecen in the next round and Walter Ashario is in a race against time to become fit for the first game. Unfortunately, Plob Dork wont make either leg of the tie and will be missed.
Domagnano will be without Right Back Davatzis for their upcoming tie against Dinamo. With the previous victory against U.E. Santa Coloma, Domagnano will fancy themselves for this tie!
Sorry for the lack of posts guys been in bed sick! Wow just read though the thread it's really coming on and I'm very excited! Loving Stothard 'The Giant' He needs to smash them free kicks more though![]()

Domagnano start this match without Davatzis at right back, but they will still fancy themselves to do some damage here... Europa League Second Qualifying Round
Debrecen Vs Fiorentino (Leg 1)
Fiorentino may have some problems against a strong Debrecen side. They will be without Plob Dork who is a major part of the team. They are also having trouble with the fitness of Walter Ashario who is available to play, but only in light training. 2 more wins for Fiorentino compared to the rivals drawBoth goals at home look kinda funny to be honest with all those Debrecen defense trailing behind the scorers
Here's hoping it's not a big injury for Gentile.
Ouch, an injury for Park, but I'm sure Zangari will have things under control. Hopefully Park can come back quickly to help him out
Yay!! Goals in both legs for Geraint! and a win against Dinamo!
Another win for Domagnano. Have we gotten better coaches yet ?
Champions League Champions Qualifier Round 3
Zeljeznicar Vs Domagnano (Leg 1)
It could be fair to say that Domagnano have been given good draw for Round 3. There is also more good news as Davatzis is back in the team, back from injury. He has only just come back into full training however and may not last the entire game. Unfortunately Daniel Park wont be joining his team mates on the field, but will be hoping to be back for the next round if Domagnano make it through.

Playoff rounds! Go Domagnano!
Unfortunately I don't have time to do the report on Fiorentino, but I can say it was a close encounter, maybe too close and Fiorentino might have lost, but I'm going to make your Fiorentino fans suffer the wait to find out![]()
I also want to make a note of the fact that I could have had more done today, but i've decided to learn HTML, CSS and then hopefully Javascript whilst also typing up most of what I learn. If i'm successfull in that then i'll move onto C++. I learnt HTML at college and went to University to do game programming, but I struggled a bit and there may be a possibility I might go back to try the course again in the future, so I want to get to grips with those languages to give me the best chanceUnfortunately, that means that updates on here will be slightly slower, but not too much slower
Just a heads up.
Nice! Could you tell me what earned Faci the 9.0 though? Didn't see him assisting or really do anything in the video.
Scevola Zangari... total legend.

Europa League Third Qualifying Round
Aris Vs Fiorentino (Leg 1)
Fiorentino come up against a pretty strong Aris team and will have to be at their best to get anything from this match. They will be playing without Plob Dork and Luke Corcoran for the first leg and possibly the second leg, which is a massive blow at this stage of the qualifying rounds. They will be going with the same formation as the last round and Lorenzo will be used up front, with Ashario playing in behind. El Toono and Goldsmith will be playing in the Wing Back positions to provide cover on the wings. Nick Adam will be playing alongside two inexperienced Centre Backs.

But 82% possession!!! Now that is complete domination!
That was a bit to close for comfort. Great strike by Gentile.
Phew! Off to 4th Qual now, it'll definitely be much trickier than this. If we made both matches injury free, I bet it won't be wrong to say Fiorentino has a big chance of making the group stages. Gotta love Gentile's input as well, still scoring, but the decisive ones this time![]()

Good chance of making the group stage now.
World Rankings Announcement
San Marino have just soared to a record high position in the World Rankings, taking 116th place in August 2012. Their previous record was 118th place in September 1993 almost. It has taken San Marino almost 19 years to better there record and will be hoping to continue moving forward, rather than backwards.
In Other News...
San Marino kick off their World Cup Qualifying campaign on the 8th of September against Ukraine. They then play Poland 4 days later and will be hoping to get off to a good start and pick up at least 3 points from the two matches.
Fiorentino could count themselves extremely lucky in the Fourth Qualifying Round as they have been partnered with Swiss side Zurick. There was a collection of teams which were teams to avoid, such as Liverpool, Aston Villa, Ajax, Roma, Sevilla, PSV, Celtic and many more!
Domagnano have been paired with Serbian side Red Star in the Champions League Champions Playoff. All 9 teams that Domagnano could have faced are of similar ability.
Domagnano and Fiorentino are definate to face each other in the final of the Trofeo Federale if they can make it past Tre Fiori and Juvenes Dogana respectively.

TM, your managing the team, right??
Keep up the great work, hopefully you will get some recognition around the world yourself
Ah, Red Star Belgrade... a long and storied history there, truly a top shelf challenge for us.
Moridin to the rescue in the first leg against Aris
No no guysNo need to thank him
I'm off to be even more arrogant somewhere else![]()
Phew! That was close shave against Aris, but some serious possession in 2nd leg. Draw for next round has done us well too.
Champions League Champions Playoff
Domagnano Vs Red Star
Domagnano wont have minded what team they had to face in this round, as all 9 teams were of a similar ability. If they were to pick a team, it could possibly have been Red Star. This round is a matter of £6mil and playing in the group stages of the competition, or the end of the line financially and a similar season to their last. With everyone fit to play the first leg, Domagnano are sure to be confident of a result!

I will be doing the Second Leg later on when i've got some more time. I can tell you that Red Star scored goals in that match and stranger things have happened, so despite the vast amount of goals scored, Domagnano aren't clear yet! Could Red Star stump our players, or will Domagnano be in the money!??? Find out later!
dont try and fool us! they never turned a 7 goal deficit aroundyou can only make stuff so tense.
Its a good thing Park has such good attributes for penalty taking since Domagnano seems to force a lot of them. Any particular player that seems to force more penalty kicks, or is it just a group effort?
Champions League Champions Playoff
Red Star Vs Domagnano (Leg 2)
After a fantastic first leg which has almost definately put Domagnano in to the Group Stages. It isn't over however and Red Star have nothing to lose going into this match and are sure to attack from the off! Domagnano have full fitness yet again and they could end up racking up a huge score!

As promised, Red Star did score goals, but Domagnano ended up destroying Red Star (13 - 2 on aggregate). This means that Domagnano are through to the group stages and bank themselves a guaranteed estimate of £6,000,000!!! This money, plus anymore money gained during the Group Stages will go towards building a better subs bench (better players) and also better staff if possible.
Europa League Fourth Qualifying Round
Fiorentino Vs Zurich
Fiorentino will be very releaved after finding out they would face Zurich in the fourth qualifying round, as they could have faced teams such as Liverpool, Aston Villa or Ajax to name a few. Zurich do however, have some decent players and Fiorentino will need to be on top form to make sure they make it to the next round! This can mean the difference between a bonus £869k and further rewards from the Group stages, or being dumped out before the competition has even started and lose out on large sums of money!

Europa League Fourth Qualifying Round
Zurich Vs Fiorentino
Fiorentino are in a very favourable position going into this match and the players are playing very well recently, bringing devastating and entertaining football to their fans! However, they may have scored 4 goals, but Zurich hold an away goal and Fiorentino are home and dry yet! Can they pull this off?

Fiorentino are through to the group stages after a tough match today, wining 5-2 on aggregate! They have had a tough time to get through these qualifying matches, but have done very well.
Yay! EL group stages should be easier than CL for sure, even though CL qualifiers are easier due Champions playoff thingy. Let's roll on the next match of the season!
Fiorentino & Domagnano - European Group Draws
Champions League Group Stage Draw - DomagnanoDomagnano who are technically the weakest team in the competition (Coefficients). All three clubs that they will face in the group stage appear to be very strong. This is a big test, but i'm sure the Domagnano players and their followers will believe they can make it to the next round!
- Domagnano
- Olympique Lyonnais
- CSKA Moscow
- Shalke
Europa League Group Stage Draw - FiorentinoFiorentino have been dealt a very tough group and may struggle, with the only team that they could possibly match; AEK Athens. Liverpool are surely the favourites for this group, so Fiorentino will need to work hard and get results against AEK Athens and VfB Stuttgart in order to make it to the next round! Arawn Moridin is a very good goalkeeper and will be a defining factor for sure!
- Fiorentino
- Liverpool
- AEK Athens
- VfB Stuttgart
Hmm.. Can't decide if we're in a tough group or not.. But I feel we can get past the group stage. =)
Great way to gauge how far Domagnano have come this year. I dont see us getting out of this group, but crazier things can happen.
Honestly, those are 3 teams that are all kind of down in European competitions, Lyon isn't top of France, Schalke lost the best GK in Germany to a rival, so maybe I fear CSKA the most of those three.
The group stage is making me very nervous.
Excellent for both teams to make group stages of respective cups! A tough draw for fiorentino tho! Hope disalvo's injury is not serious!
Yay, bench subs! Are you going to make them people who might take San Marinese nationality later and thus boost the National squad against injuries a bit?
hatrick and MOM in first leg. Don't expect that from a DM
Hi lads,
Stefano Duffinci here. Sorry I've been on holiday for the last two weeks but now I'm back! Catching up with all the great work!
TM is there anything I need to do to catch up?
Come on you Dogmanano and San Marino!
A very tough draw, we would do well to go through from this.
I think your underestimating OL a little bit, but its just an opinion. We definitely have a chance, but a slim one. This group will probably come down to who gets those one or two breaks and takes advantage of them.
Cant wait to see what happens, either way 6 mil in our coffers is an excellent start to our first season.
Thanks for getting back to me TM, if possible can I update my training as follows:
Name Of Player: Stefano Duffinci

Cheers mate!
I've just figured something out. When a player has a future transfer, you are unable to teach that player a preffered move. That is the reason why we haven't been able to do it... At the moment we aren't able to do anything about that, but I will do my best to sort that out.
Injury Report - 8th September
Ben Goldsmith has picked up Strained Knee Ligaments whilst on International Duty, in training. He will be out for the next 2 months at least!
Lukio DiSalvo's picked up an injury in the Champions League recently. He received a Gashed Leg and will be out for between 3 to 8 days.
