Auto updates...or am I be really stupid?

Evening all!

I just went to start a new save on FM12 and noticed that it says that I'm using version 12.0.0, looking around and it seems there has already been a patch. Any ideas how to update it via Steam? I really don't understand how it works!

thats your database version.. the patches are completely different...

go to game status or preferences to check your patch version..

the database hasnt been updated yet.. but will be soon

current patch = 12.1.1
current database = 12.0
