Most Goals Scored in a Match

This was a shocking win. We were already (practically) qualified so I played the reserves against Dundee Utd in the Europa League group phase. Henn had not played well lately, but boy did he play well here!! We smashed 9 past them in a massive 9-1 win, with Sergei Henn scoring 6 goals, which changed Henn from a backup player to first teamer again. Both are club records for biggest win (and highest scoring game) and most goals in a match.

Most Humiliating Defeat

We are in the Quarter Final of the Europa League (the year before the 9-1 win) and are up against Catania. The Italians had been beaten 2-1 in the first match in Italy, so it should just be a formality to not lose at home to secure our place in the Semi Final.






As bad as that experience was, it is nothing compared to what happened the season before, this time in the Semi Final of the Europa League. Man City are the opponents and we hammer them 3-0 at their place to practically secure our place in the Final. We just need to turn up at home...

I've made a slight chance today, making one of the posts a Hall of Fame (for the best team/player records), and the other, a Hall of Shame (for all the bad shizzle). This way, your humiliating defeats will be kept for all to see; I just won't rank them in any particular order

I totally agree with your point about people tampering with things to get themselves in the Hall of Fame/Shame. Definitely not exclusive to FM12; we've already got records from Pangaea's FM10 save.

Eventually, I envisage this being an annual thread, inline with the release of the 'new' game every October/November, with each thread having the best/worst FMCU records for that calendar year. Doesn't matter what version you're playing, as long as it happens in that 12 month period.

However, as this is the first one, I don't see any reason why people can't post their achievements from previous careers as long as they have a screenshot and a thread in the FMCU forum.

That is an outrageous goal AcidBurn! Looks a bit silly though as there is no way a player can kick a ball that bloody far almost in the same moment as he outmuscles the ball from an opponent and without any proper time or movement for the kick. Things like that happen too often for my liking in various situations. Not least when players turn on a nickel and fire of a rocket that would worry NASA at the same moment as they are turning half-way around, with no forward momentum. Happens way too often, sadly.
