Gypsum's finally getting himself some goals, progress!
Gypsum's finally getting himself some goals, progress!
Stupid Stoke! I don't like them in real life and I'm starting to detest them now... I'm starting a petition, Let Moridin play! Anyone want to sing?
7 International caps and I still can't get a game for any of my clubs? :/
Well... at least my stats are increasing...![]()
My Shaq actually got fewer games this year yet went from wanting to leave to being optimistic about his future ... not sure I understand the logic but looking at his stats he should be good enough to break into a permanent first team role soon anyway.
None of the DCs are on the board yet ... seems crazy the AI does so poorly at corners when in my own saves the DCs average a couple of dozen goals between them pretty much every year (and that's without any special corner exploits, just a DC on each post with mixed delivery).
I'm kind of surprised at the lack of DC goals as well.
Jimmy Kruse is doing well at Hannover. Good to see he's getting some quality first team football. He's definitely very good at getting in a lot of shots!
Really good to see how i'm developing and scoring plenty, are they from open play or penalties?
Surprised that Real wanted me. Pleased to be scoring (not many) and winning something. Finally.

Greg Johnston is at Liverpool but wants to leave the club and has announced that he wants first team playing time. Is considering his options. Had one sub. appearance.

Mark Brown wants to leave Man Utd, wants first team playing time and is considering his options.
Players under transfer bids
John Crane is considering a loan offer from Genk and is loan listed at Liverpool.
James Sawyer has accepted a transfer bid from SLB in Portugal and will be joining them today.
Overall, now that the guys are 20 years old, they're getting more and more playing time and the goals are starting to come in for more players. Only 4 players haven't scored yet.
At last!! obviously I must be getting a few games at the Villa, joint top scorer with 6. The futures bright, the futures claret and blue.
Come on, just loan me out to a championship club. I think i've had more International appearances than I have club at the moment...
Looks like the goals are starting to flow now, heres hoping for some more.
A Ł3.4m move to Blackpool and two more goals... Gypsum's career has got going now!
Boo, second transfer, still in the reserves. 3 teams and not made one of them!
Yay! A loan, and a GOAL! 1 on the chart is a start![]()
Come on Moridin! Get the h*** out of Stoke! Really glad he's put in a transfer request!

Tomorrow I want to do an award update, some of our players are getting some significant recognition and I haven't included many of the awards in my updates.
Im a follower of the wonderful van der voom!
This is amazingly fun to read KIU!
Think i need a move away from Man Utd for first team football if i'm going to have any chance in this!
Great thread - KUTGW!
2 goals is good for Cali considering he had only 3 shots on goal. I guess Sampdoria is not the ideal team at the moment to get into goal scoring positions for a winger![]()
Helge still with City
At least 7(8) apps and an amazing amount of shots (6) combined with a Messi-like rating of 6.45...
KUTGW Rabbit & STW Helge !!
It is great to see that I am starting so many games for Aston Villa, that will hopefully continue and bring many more goals!
Dench needs to get away from Palermo on loan quick ffs
Pretty good season there, need to step up again for next season.
Doing quite well. Many goals anyhow.
Hurray, 22 appearances. Now I can stop moaning about not being played and start concentrating on being the next ...erm... (at this point I tried to find out if Lazio had had any famous right-wingers and ended up embroiled in an argument about racism!).
This is going to be a more image heavy update without so much talky talky from me. For each player I will post their attributes as of June 1st, 2016 and then I will link to images for their landmark achievements, awards and biography pages. This way I can put out a lot of information without typing or thinking too much. Enjoy the update! Some players had so many awards I had to split them out.

My players attributes look very good indeed, possibly already close to the PA, probably need to move from Fulham to a bigger club to help get more goals. Could also do with improving my penalties a bit, have i actually taken any?
Hey, Young player of the Year back at Celtic. GoGo Helge!!
btw... hope he'll get loaned out or join another club at the end of the season.

I don't see career penalties being tracked in FM. The only historical data tracked is team, divsion, apps, goals, asists, MoMand Avg rating. If you can point me where to look, I'll look at it for you. I have put stats up for every season though so you should be able to look up your own players history at this point.
Gypsum won the League cup with Blackpool... nice! Seems like he's settled in there, shame his technical attributes aren't coming on as well as his mental.
Scoring for fun nowMy attributes look amazing too, U20 World Cup winner
KUTGW
I simply don't understand how I'm not getting a game. 11 caps for Scotland; very good physical stats (my determination has dropped from 15 to 12 unfortunately) and my technical ability on the ball is solid.
Who is the short sighted manager of Liverpool in this game!!!! :P
Thanks for the updates 18Rabbit!
Between the club and international Shaq is at well over 100 appearances for his solitary goal ... oh well with 27 caps already at age 20 he's got to be on course to break the USA caps record, even if he can't score goals to save himself.
Having a nice run for Liverpool. Hopefully I can manage to keep my spot in the starting eleven and start banging in some goals![]()
Jimmy Kruse has really developed into quite an attacking threat. Getting named in the German First Division Team of the Week just about every other week and picking up a few big awards must be making other teams aware of his quality. It's also good to see that he's broken into the Australian team this year and played very well for them. The future looks bright!
KUTGW Rabbit! This is a great thread![]()
so i am in the last year of my contract at Palermo hopefully i will be able to leave![]()
Glad you all are enjoying the thread. I'm trying to keep it interesting instead of just "HERE R TEH GOLS!". I'm as interested in how the AI/game engine works and players develop so I'm enjoying running it as well.

Helge Blendet moved from Man City to Schalke on loan until the end of the season.
Mark Brown moved on loan from Man Utd. to FC Twente until the end of the season.
Marco Di Mata moved on loan from Man Utd. to join Justin Collins at Valencia until the end of the season.
Jonas Dockx transferred to Olympique Lyonnais from Liverpool for 14.25M (wow)
Edoardo Lorenzo transferred from Sporting (POR) to Inter for 18M (double wow)
Vincent van Coconut has stepped up to the big time and transferred from Tottenham to Barcelona for a whopping 20M. (and is playing regularly).
Eighteen Rabbit took a free transfer from Napoli and joined ESTAC Troyes (and actually started playing and scoring for a change)
Unhappy players
Mike Nevo is unhappy at Chelsea, he's playing just not every game. Wants to leave the club and has requested a transfer publicly though he is not yet transfer listed.
Greg Johnston is unhappy at Liverpool with only one league app. He wants more first team play time and is considering his options.
Other things of note
Justin Collins has attracted the interest of Arsenal who is considering picking him up when his contract with Valencia expires.
Arawn Moridin, Jake Stothard and John Crane are all hanging out in the reserves for their teams
If I am not mistaken Cali's goal total should say 16, not 5![]()
I need to get out of Chelsea asap, they were never the team I should have joined.
Another nice season for Gypsum, continues his steady improvement!
Jimmy Kruse is really on fire at the moment.
Ok, I think the differences were caused by me counting continental and intercontinental goals when I probably shouldn't have and weird alphabetizing rules for Turkish players. Soo... basically almost everyone's goal totals are a little off. In most cases it was just a few goals, but... bleh. So anyway, these are the current league goal totals as of January 1st, 2017.
What do you guys think about counting only league goals?Code:Jimmy Kruse AMC 37 Dench Frimpong MR 29 Glen Bunday MC 26 Henrik van der Voom MC 23 David Ginsberg MC 21 Cali Sercan M/AM R 18 Jonas Dockx M/AM R 15 Ben Goldsmith M/AM L 15 Stuart Shaw MC 13 Simon Leigh MC 12 Mike Nevo M/AM R 12 Edoardo Lorenzo M/AM R 8 Arie Kanarie M/AM R 7 Justin Collins M/AM R 6 Gypsum Fantastic M/AM R 6 E. Hmm, not sure about counting only league goals although it can be a little misleading if its counting up international appearances (U21 etc.).
I think that was one of the issues. Now that the guys are all 21, I could start counting League, Continental and International. What about cup? Sometimes those games are against easier teams. Or I could say the hell with it and count them all. I guess either way is fair as long as everyone is held to the same standards.
Transfer to Barcelona, hopefully remain in the first team and grab a few goals.
Yay Helge at Schalke scoring his first 2 goals!
Although Helge never had any U21 apps, counting all those goals (int., cups, cont., ...) is fine for me.
When I do my updates, I use June 1st or sometimes June 2nd depending on the Champions League Final as my point of calculating things. This would be the easiest way to count up everyones goals. Any International goals after that period will be easy to count. To make it easier you could always have 2 seperate collums, 1 for Club goals and 1 for International goals, then you would not need to count up the International goals after 1st of June, just amend them next season, according to what it says.
I hope I haven't misunderstood what you've asked and that helps.
My transfer (Jonas Dockx) is a good deal for everyone, I'm playing more, scoring goals for Lyon and LFC got a good fee
Last edited by den-dockx1993; 01-02-2012 at 18:11.
I'd say count in all club goals (league, cups, continentals) & all NT goals, meaning no goals whatsoever counted for any U21-20-etc side both for club & nation.
Ok, it sounds like I need to go back one more time. I'll work on this tomorrow and get the end of season stats images up along with the updated totals.
Sounds good to me, now that all the players have 'come of age' we should only be counting senior team and full international goals imo.
Loving the thread anyway, I always look forward to reading to see how my player is progressing.
Ok, so I've gone back over the histories of each player and have counted all League, Cup, Continental and International goals for non-youth teams and these are the new official totals broken down by year.

Well it seems I wanted to stay at Chelsea and i'm becoming a regular, just wish it was at a more favourable club.
6 seasons and one goal.
Sounds about right for my ratio playing football growing up![]()
Helge playing and scoring @ Schalke!
Hope he stays with them or at least won't go back to City...
Looks like it is going well again at Aston Villa, hopefully the games will continue to come, and so will the goals.
Pleased with Gypsum's steady improvement!
Here's updates for each player, squad changes in red:
Charlie Anh M/AM R - Lazio - Playing regularly as AMR and has picked up proficiency in that position. Happy to be playing at the club with no immediate plans. He's 38 days from being an Italian national.
Helge Blendet DM, MC - Man City (Loaned to Schalke) - Had a pretty good loan with Schalke even though he didn't score much. Wants to help the club improve their position.
Jim Bowman DC - Man City - Playing all the time now. Only one goal this year but not for lack of trying. He's finally enjoying playing for the club and is happy to be part of the Scotland setup.
Rocky Brittus IV DR - Manchester United - Playing full time for Man Utd now and listed as indispensable to the club. Slowly gaining proficiency in DL and WR too. Enjoying playing for the club.
Mark Brown M/AM L - Manchester United (Loaned to FC Twente) - Played regularly for FC Twente this year and starting to pick up a few goals. Also gained positional proficiency as ML. He's happy playing for the club.
Glen Bunday MC - Fulham - Indispensable fist team player who is scoring fairly regularly. Will strive to help the club improve their league position. Developing skill as MR and plays there occasionally.
Justin Collins M/AM R - Valencia - Playing fairly regularly and scoring occasionally. He has agreed to a transfer move to Arsenal for next season and is looking forward to it.
John Crane AMC - Liverpool Reserves - Still not playing any games other than non-competitive games. Scoring some in those games at least. He's listed for loan but feels that he is too good to be loaned out.
Marco Di Mata M/AM L- Man United (Loaned to Valencia)- Played somewhat regularly while on loan and picked up 2 league and 2 cup goals while he was there this season. Determined to turn around the teams string of defeats and happy to be part of the Italy setup.
Jonas Dockx M/AM R - Olympique Lyonnais - Playing regular first team soccer, usually as AMR. Picked up proficiency as MR. The move to Olympique was good for him, he bagged 9 league goals and 6 continental goals. Enjoying playing for the club and happy to be part of the Belgum setup.
Gypsum Fantastic M/AM R - Blackpool - Indispensable first team player for Blackpool. Had a busy year and picked up 5 league and 3 continental goals. Had a total of 51(2) apps for the year. Will strive to help his club improve their league position and happy to be part of the wales setup.
Dench Frimpong MR - Palermo Reserves- A measly 1 league app this year so it's no surprise that he's being transferred. Next season he will be playing for Al-Hilal (KSA) in Saudi Arabia. He's looking forward to the move.
David Ginsberg MC - Valladolid - Indispensable first team player. Helped Valladolid get promoted back to BBVA next season. Bagged 9 league and 2 cup goals this season. He's enjoying playing for the club and is happy to be part of the Israel setup.
Ben Goldsmith M/AM L - Aston Villa - Indispensable first team player for Aston Villa. 6 league, 1 cup and 1 international goals. Happy to be playing for the club and happy to be part of the England setup. Helped England finish as the European Football Championship runners up.
Greg Johnston AMC - Liverpool - Technically moved up from the reserve squad but playing almost no competitive games. One league app, and one cup app where he did manage to bag a goal at least. Optimistic about his future at the club.
Arie Kanarie M/AM R - Liverpool- Unlike his teammates John Crane and Greg Johnston, he is a first team starter for Liverpool. He only bagged one goal in league play, but also picked up 2 in international play and 2 in continental games. He wants to strive to help his team improve their league position (9th this season) and is happy to be part of the Holland setup.
Jimmy Kruse AMC - Hannover 96- Indispensable to the club now. Had a pretty great year with 9 league goals and 3 continental goals. Signed a new contract that will keep him there until 2022. Happy to be part of the Australia setup.
Simon Leigh MC - Aston Villa - Indispensable first team player. Playing all the time now and picked up 7 league goals and one more in international play. Enjoying playing for the club.
Edoardo Lorenzo M/AM R - Inter - Moved to Inter this year from Sporting (POR) for 18M. Getting some real playing time there too. Only picked up 2 goals but he's getting the opportunities. He's enjoying playing for the club and is happy to be part of the Italy setup.
Arawn Moridin M/AM R - Stoke (Loaned to Braga) - Stoke finally played him a bit the first half of the season and then he went out on loan for the second half and played some there too. Between the two he picked up 5 league goals this season. His happiness is unknown but he is happy to be part of the Norway setup.
Mike Nevo AMR - Chelsea - Finally playing for the first team at Chelsea. He's an important first team player and managed to bag 7 goals this year during league play. He's happy to be playing for the club now and happy being part of the England setup.
Shaquille O'Neal DC - FC Bayern - Indispensable first team player. A total of 40 appearances this season between his league, international and continental appearances but unfortunately no goals. He's enjoying playing for the club and happy to be part of the USA setup.
Eighteen Rabbit AMC - ESTAC Troyes - After barely playing for Napoli for years, he left on a free transfer and was snatched up by ESTAC Troyes. Now he's an indispensable fist team player and managed to pick up 6 goals for the year. He's enjoying playing for the club and happy to be part of the Italy setup.
Björgvin Radebe M/AM L - Stuttgart - Indispensable first team player. 38 apps between league, cup continental and international apps but only two goals. Pleased to have signed a new contract that will keep him at Stuttgart until 2022. Happy to be part of the Iceland setup.
James Sawyer MC - SLB - Playing pretty regularly for SLB but not scoring much. 29 total apps between league and continental but only one goal. Happy playing for the club and happy playing for N. Ireland.
Sercan Cali M/AM R - Sampdoria - Indispensable to the club, playing regular first team soccer. 31 league and 13 continental apps with a total of 6 goals between them. Enjoying playing for the club.
Stuart Shaw MC - Leicester- Indispensable to the club. Starting midfeilder seeing lots of play time. 38 league, 3 cup and 6 international apps for a total of 5 goals. Happy to have signed a new contract keeping him at Leicester until 2022. Happy to be part of the Scotland setup.
Jake Stothard M/AM L - Juventus - Transferred to Juve for 6.5M. Used in a squad rotation system. Had more international apps than league apps but did manage to get a goal internationally. Optimistic about his future at the club and happy to be part of the San Marino setup.
Vincent van Coconut DC - Barcelona - Transferred to Barcelona for 20M this season and has played fairly regular first team soccer since then. 26 league apps, 2 cup, 7 continental and 7 international. Managed 3 goals in league play, making him the leading goal scoring defender in the contest. Enjoying playing for the club and happy to be part of the Belgium setup.
Henrik van der Voom MC - R. Madrid - Important first team player. Getting lots of play time and, more importantly goals. 26(5) league apps, 7 cup apps, 8(3) continental apps and 6 international apps with 3, 2, 4, 2 goals respectively for a total of 11 goals for the season keeping him near the top of the competition. He's pleased to have signed a new contract keeping him at R. Madrid until 2020 and he's happy to be part of the Belgium setup.

on the move to Saudi where i will be getting in Oil and Camels wahooo
great to see good consistancy in scoring for my player, seem to gained a few as well. I still think i could do with a move to a bigger team to give me the chance to score more.
Nice to see that I'm scoring and playing regularly. Even scored internationally already
Stuart Shaw MC - Leichester - Indispensable to the club. Starting midfeilder seeing lots of play time. 38 league, 3 cup and 6 international apps for a total of 5 goals. Happy to have signed a new contract keeping him at Leichester until 2022. Happy to be part of the Scotland setup.

Glad I am getting games still -.-
Helge first on loan at Schalke and now with Dortmund
Nice to see he's on form, getting first team football and even scoring again.
KUTGW!
A good move for Arsenal to sign Justin Collins. I am not commenting on the competition, see it's already lost
KUTGW!

I have an update ready but I also have a horrific stomach virus so, yeah, it'll be a little delayed. Meh.
Ah well, hope you get better soon!

Jimmy Kruse had another great season, looking more and more like the contest will be for second place.
Detailed player updates to follow.
Last edited by 18Rabbit; 15-02-2012 at 20:25. Reason: * Dench Frimpong was missing 6 goals for this season
Poor season for my player
Kruse is away, is he now playing up front? only 1 pen in 18 goals and only 40 apps as well, quite a contrast to the other AMC's.
maybe when he moves to a big club Kruses goals will slow down
Damn those season at Palermo have killed my guy ffs stupid italians
Kruse is playing almost exclusively as AMC though the international team seems to think he might have skill as a... defender??
Kruse was also named as German Footballer of the Year this season (ousting Mario Götze) and has broken the Hannover records for league goals and man of the match awards in a season. He has also been the Asian player of the year since 2016 and won Young Asian player of the year for 2015 and 2017, 2018. (Charlie Anh won it in 2016).

At last a few goals for Josh CraneWHOOP!
Good to see Jimmy Kruse is still playing very well. Maybe the "Shoots From Distance" PPP is the reason why he is firing away so many more shots than everyone else each season
Updates been coming a while!
Yeah, sorry about that. I've simmed the season and half of the next, I'll see if I can get the update out today or tonight.

I edited the goal totals above because Dench Frimpong had 6 goals at the start of the season before he was sold that I didn't count. This bumped him up two places in the competition.

Hope my contract runs down. I need a move; anywhere but another big club. Liverpool has ruined me.
I really, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really really want Moridin to move away from Stoke. I really, really etc. etc. don't like that club!
Wehey Dench finally got the move he wanted in Europe![]()
7 appearances 4 goals for my guy at International level, let's get some more call ups please, with a ratio like that I could be the new Peter Crouch.
Damn, Helge is crap at long throws and scoring goals... but otherwise I would love to have him in my squad.
