Cali seems like an efficient winger but not an ideal one for this goal scoring competition

3 goals isn't too bad but I would've thought with my jumping and heading I'd be scoring more from corners

    As of July 1st, 2019

Here's updates for each player, squad changes in red: (Not doing screen shots this season since it takes a long time)

Charlie Anh M/AM R - Man Utd- Had a pretty bang up year all around. Overall average of 7.47, scored 6 league goals, 2 continental and another 6 in international play. Charlie was voted runner up for Asian Player of the Year for 2018 (behind his nemesis Jimmy Kruse), English players' player of the year runner up, 2019 English Players' Premier Division Select team and Man Utd's seasonal best 11. In competitive play he helped Vietnam win the South East Asian football championship. For Man Utd they: come in as runners up in the FA cup, win the English Premiere Division, won the Club World Championship, won the European Super Cup and were English Community Shield runners up.

Helge Blendet DM, MC - Man City - Used in a rotation this season so seeing some regular first team action, 14(11) apps but no goals. Helped Man City win the English Community Shield and come in runners up in the English League Cup and European Champions Cup. Still uncapped.

Jim Bowman DC - Man City - Important first team player for Man City. Helped Man City win the English Community Shield and come in runners up in the English League Cup and European Champions Cup. Named in the Scotland Seasonal best 11, the English Players' Premier Division Select and the Man City seasonal best 11. Enjoying playing for the club even though he only scored 1 goal this season.

Rocky Brittus IV DR - Man Utd - Indispensable to the club. Picked up one goal in international play. Helped Man Utd come in as runners up in the FA cup, win the English Premiere Division, won the Club World Championship, won the European Super Cup and were English Community Shield runners up. Was named in the Seasonal Best 11 and was 2018 Oceania player of the year.

Mark Brown M/AM L - Blackburn - 34(4) apps for Blackburn with 5 goals, indispensable to the club. He's enjoying playing for them. Named in Blackburn's seasonal best 11. Blackburn finished 11th this season.

Glen Bunday MC - Man Utd- Transfer to Man U came through for a whopping 52M breaking both record signings for Manchester United and for Fulham and he signed an amazing 190k/wk contract. Appears to be money well spent though as he put in 67 apps this season, scoring 14 goals and maintaining a 7.52 seasonal average. Helped Man Utd come in as runners up in the FA cup, win the English Premiere Division, won the Club World Championship, won the European Super Cup and were English Community Shield runners up. John Crane AMC - West Ham - Still indispensable to the club, enjoying playing for the club. Not part of the England setup so he didn't see as many opportunities for scoring as he might have. Managed 4 goals in 37 apps for West Ham. Named in the seasonal best 11 and was named the 2018/19 Supporters player of the year. West Ham finished 14th in the season.

Marco Di Mata M/AM L - Valencia -Considering another contract from Valencia as his expires next year. Indispensable to the club. At total of 48(4) apps for Marco, picking up 7 goals. This year Jonas was inducted into the Olympique and Belgium seasonal best 11s and the overall best 11 team for Olympique. Not so great of a season for Olympique as they had last season, they finished 5th. The lowest finish they've had since 1997/98.

Named in the Barcelona and Belgium seasonal best 11 and inducted to the Belgium overall best 11. Was shortlisted for the 2018 World Golden Ball award but didn't place in the top 3.

Basically it looks like defenders almost never score in simmed leagues even if they have amazing heading stats.

Hold on a minute, how can an Australian keep beating me to Asian player of the year? o.0 Especially as there's a separate Oceania player of the year award!

I suggest we ban Jimmy Kruse from the game for this flagrant cheating.

Fantastic to see how highly rated my player is now - hopefully it can be converted to more goals, must get more chances at Man U. Messi and Fabregas must be aging so the best player in europe must be acheivable next year

Still getting the games, but not exactly the amount of goals I would expect, seems to hit a wall at 7 over the last few years.

Would love to know whether Helge finally made it into ManCitys first team squad.

It is still alive, I just haven't had time to do the update. Work has picked up (which is where I did most of my updates) and my wife has come down with a serious case of pregnancy so we've had more things going on after hours too. I will continue to update when I have time, I'm just not sure when that will be. I have simmed the first half of the next season so I'll see if I can at least get a transfer update in some time in the next couple of days.

How serious is it? are we talking triplets, quadruplets or just a complete hormonal nightmare?

It's still early but she seems to have about double the hormones of our first child so hopefully it's not twins.

    Transfers from season start

Sercan Cali transferred to Reading from Sampdoria for 20M and is now making 175k/wk. Must be nice.

    Unhappy players
James Sawyer is considering his options but his happiness is unknown. I'm not sure why he's not happy.

Players under transfer bids and other items of note
Björgvin Radebe and Greg Johnston are attracting major interest from Reading, maybe they'll be joining Sercan Cali there soon.
Jimmy Kruse is attracting major interest from Liverpool for a transfer.
