Well we got off to a winning start to the month seal passage to the quarter finals in the Coupe de France, and also the league win which saw us pass the 40 point mark to seal safety in my opinion and also pushed us back into the European chase as we jumped back up the table, I'm hoping the rest of the month is as successful. I'm hoping the fact the on the three league games are sides close to the bottom, to get me into the European picture as now I've hit 40 points my aim is the Europa league. but i say that, it's going to be mid-table for me if i lose games against the likes of st etienne

Again we started the month with a win in the coupe de France as this time we progressed to the Semi finals of the Equivalent of the French FA Cup, im quite confident with the Semi against Lyon next month as we seem to do well against them. In Ligue 1 we did ok, a easy win over Toulouse but a goalless draw with Stade Rennais just shows how we seem incapable of putting the poor sides to the sword, We did managed to thrash Valenciennes in the final game of the month and we moved into 3rd in Ligue 1 which is just amazing!, for we have mathematically guaranteed safety with 9 games to go we can concentrate on getting into the Europa League.

What an end to the season! considering in the clubs entire Ligue 1 history it consists of 2 season, winning a total of four games drawing 18 and scoring a pitiful 47 goals picking up a pathetic 30 points in total in one season we have smashed all that history away, playing a wide attacking football we caught the Ligue 1 sides off guard as my wingers caused all sorts of havoc all season with the goals fairly spread out, we were a good side to watch always attacking, as for this month's games losing to league champions OM is no slight on the side the only disappointment this month is the draw with Ajaccio but history has happened!

apart from the off day away at Strasbourg, we have had a good opening month to the ligue 1 campaign, The biggest news of the month was the Champions league group draw and im screwed! drawn against, Barcelona, Man City, and Rangers i cant see me picking up any points if im honest.
Pity about Strasbourg spoiling a good start.
If anyone wants to know how teams or players have got on just say...
Where are Crewe and are there any ex-high profile players turned into good managers?
Brilliant stuff getting into the Champions League. Can't wait to see who is in your group.
Relegated in 11/12, took three attempts to get out of the BSP before winning the league in 14/15, they have bounced between League Two and League one,
Aaron Ramsey is a coach 0ther than that not alot
Brillianthad a VERY Blonde moment went to format my External HDD and accidently formated my C Drive instead, i have a back up but havent checked how far back it goes, its Dated 7th May so i Think i go back to January
Just read through, acidmonkey and must say, fantastic read! Tough break on the formatting though. HOpe not too much was lost.
Had to start again from 1st Febuary
well im back at the end of the season, only 2 points worse off and a 4th place finished meaning Champions League but in at the play-off round
Nice one at least you have given yourself a good chance of Champions League football.
well the free signing was great what i didnt expect was the chairman to sign the player on £195k a week meaning four players matched him leaving me with a massive wage bill so ive sold my top scorer for £500k and two other of my main players needing to be shipped out, so far this summer ive concentrated on trying to trim my sqad but still have a managable team for the league and Champions league, ive only managed to sign 1 player due to my wage constraints, so i think we may have some issues this year.

Well I’m not sure what to make of that month, a couple of league wins propelled us up the league and into 5th, a win and a defeat in the Europa league, I’m fed up of having goals chalked off, or my defence just deciding not to turn up, it’s frustrating, I really want to leave as my players are getting tired and it’s only the second month of the season!

But it’s doable but we need to show consistency to get the clubs first eredivisie in 9 years, It was nice to see Olsson notch on his debut I signed him for goals as he has scored for fun in Sweden gaining the top scorer award two seasons running I think his pace will be dangerous for us.

Well im very chuffed with the way the season has ended, a league title the first in ten years for Ajax, it just took a couple of signings and some tactical know how J, we managed to edge a very tight league fight, over a VERY strong PSV side, and then I did a rangers and nick the Europa league, with single goal wins, and back to the walls defending especially in the final Arsenal in all fairness should have taken us apart, but we still managed to hold out and ive claimed I think my first Europa league trophy.

I Am NOT happy losing the first leg to PSV, we were 2-0 up at half time but then lost our heads, we had lots needed to sort it out!, again we were in control, in the second leg but drew 3-3 and I’m not happy, I think I’m forced into the Europa so at least I get another crack of reclaiming that trophy, but I’m not happy at how poor we played. The league campaign got under way, and we managed to get a solid win Büyüksehir didn’t stand a chance, we dominated from start to finish and these are a side expected to finish in 10th. All the sides I’ve faced in Turkey seem to play 4-1-2-2-1 with DMC and AMR/L and the 4-4-2 seems to have torn apart the first two sides I’ve taken on with this. So overall I’m ok with it, still fuming from the performance in the Champions league, but happy with the start I’ve had in the League
Galatasaray. Fond memories, fond memories!!!!
Shame about the champions league exit, theres always the Euro Cup!

Ok not such a brilliant Month Europe is pretty much a write off for me this season unless I pull out some massive miracle, also disappointed we lost against a mid-table side, 3rd after 6 games is an ok return with still a lot to go, and we can will this comfortably still I think, we are predicted to finish 3rd behind, fenerbache, and beskitas so we are around about where we are predicted, im hoping the side gets back to scoring for fun so we can get a run going in the league
Just stay in the Top 4 is the main aim, the play-offs are the most important part of the season.
Top 4? whats that all about?
Ok, Thats a bit mental, why is there a C spot for first in the play offs and a PL spot at bottom?
Yeah it is a bit crazy acidmonkey. If you check the last page out on my thread you will see a few screenshots of what happens.

Well after opening the month with a disappointing draw we managed to turn it all around and get three very important victories, and its left me needing only 3 more wins to seal my top four spot and a crack at the Championship Group and a chance of winning Galatasaray’s first league title for six years, finishing 2nd and 3rd for the past six years its our time to win it! Seven of the last eight league games are all against sides in the bottom half with one against 3rd placed Bursaspor, which will be tough but if I can beat Fenerbache and Beskitas in back to back games I must be able to do something with Bursaspor, im planning a big clear out over the summer with the aim of bringing in half a dozen good young Turkish players and a couple of quality foreigners.
Off work today and waiting in for parcels means this season will be getting finished this morning and i will be getting well into next season
Flying high at the top of the table. Keep that gap up for when the Championship Group comes into effect and you will be laughing.

So the league section of the competition was a breeze, we won that part comfortably and thankfully take a big big lead into the Championship group, as you can see from the final table its got to suck for Fenerbahce as they scored over 100 goals in the league but still finished 2nd, but it’s the championship group which decided the destination of the title, I really have no idea what happened in the last league game of the season, we dominated them, we should have won that but to concede 6 and lose 6-3 was frustrating and not the best way to progress into the championship group

Linfield
Facilities:
Capacity: 24374 (15602 Seated)
Built: 2005
Plenty of room for improvement in the squad I just need to be successful and I can possibly see a new stadium being built.
History:
Founded in March 1886 in Sandy Row in south Belfast by workers at the Ulster Spinning Company's Linfield Mill the team was originally known as the Linfield Athletic Club and played on ground at the back of the mill known as the Meadow.
Linfield moved to Ulsterville Avenue in 1889. After the purchase of a piece of land known as the 'bog meadows' just off lower Windsor Avenue in 1904, the club settled in what has become the permanent home of Linfield FC., Windsor Park, a ground that has hosted international matches since its opening. The first game at Windsor was played against Glentoran, the other half of Belfast's "Big Two," on September 2, 1905 – though Belfast Celtic were the club's main rivals at the time.
Roy Coyle who managed Linfield from 1975 to 1990 has been their most successful manager to date having won 31 trophies during his time at Windsor Park. He is closely followed by current Linfield manager David Jeffrey who has won 30 trophies since his appointment in 1997.
Linfield's former captain Noel Bailie achieved his 1000th appearance for the club when they played Crusaders F.C. in a drawn match. Shortly afterwards, on 27 April 2010, Linfield took their 49th league title after a 1–0 win against Cliftonville at Windsor Park in the Carling Premiership. Since Noel Bailie's retirement from football in May 2011 at the age of 40, Linfield have since retired the number 11 shirt. Linfield secured their 50th league title on 26 April 2011 following a 4–0 win against Lisburn Distillery. Their trophy haul makes Linfield the most successful team in Irish football.
Since these years, Linfield have only managed to win the league title a further 8 times, with cliftonville dominating the other years, Linfield have been very behind their manager refusing to sack their boss despite not lifting the title. For players they have always turned to the aging English players to make their key squad members, Their current striker is 35 year old Harry Kane, hes played for Norwich and sunderland but hes getting on now and for me needs replacing
