So the Loss of Deschamps back to France really let Athletic down as I absolutely creamed them! 20 shots 6 on target and 3 goals they didn't get a sniff of the ball and ended up defending in numbers I'm NOT a happy chappy in the champions league though now as we just seemed way too tired and seemed to be chasing shadows in Italy. It was exceptionally frustrating but with 8 league victories this month it did help us gain the league title, so I've got three Spanish titles in the three seasons I've been here.

An easy finish to the league season left us as an unbeaten side throughout the league season which I'm very proud of, I'm hoping to kick on and do even better and as ill probably look towards the next two seasons as the end of my career in Spain and ill look to move to a new challenge however i am improving the squad as I've signed a Zimbabwean centre midfielder who has the ability to walk straight into the first team and ill be looking at the B and C side to promote a new player or two but i was happy to gain the Copa del ray too.

We started the league campaign well with the routine win over Hueseca as we outplayed them completely before getting the well played 3 points

Well a good month was on the cards when i saw the fixtures we were only expected to struggle against last year's challengers Athletic but with my Reserve keeper as their number one we knew if we pummelled them with shots we would come away with the victory, also got an important victory in the Champions league at Ibrox put us top of the group after one game. I was also surprised to score my fastest goal in a long time against Athletic as we cook a 1-0 lead after only 33 seconds. and we dominated as expected in the other games with Tenerife actually being the easiest but I had my concerns against Deportivo when the day before the game both our centre midfielders pulled up with injuries. and it was nearly rightly concerned as we only managed to edge the game but we are built on a solid defence and I'm proud we made it through September without conceding a league goal

only three league games this month but we have managed to get 13 points ahead of second placed Barcelona and again the league looks like it should be ours and its only the cups left to fight for, as you can see we lost in the copa del ray 2nd leg against Sevilla but still managed to progress into the semis where we took on Barcelona and out played them for a 2-0 win the first leg, Barca don't play the "pretty" football anymore and are a dirty team nowadays constantly hacking down my players in meetings between us. Joel has also been a cracking signing with his arrival in January he replaced Castillo in the squad and instantly went to work notching 6 goals in 7 outings.

A good solid month for us as we have moved even further ahead in the league as Barca continued to drop points and we continue to stream further ahead, possibly 19 points clear after the game in hand, and only 9 points from claiming the title, in the champions league. We easily negotiated Leverkusen in Europe on the road to the final in Luzhniki but we have drawn more Germans as we get to take on Bayern Munich in the quarter finals and the winner of the Barca V PSG in the Semis.

Well the opening month of the season has shown how far Pellicer has developed himself he's absolutely on fire sitting behind the front two, he is absolutely lethal! I'd put the league up but there has only been a few games and it's a waste of time at the moment, the fact he only lasted two competitive games is devastating, because he was on such another level he even got man of the match in the Super Cup final despite having to be replaced. And ive learnt he will be out for between 3 and 4 weeks.

Well what started as a great month ended with an annoyance, losing the derby annoyed and hurt me as we were on top for the first half before collapsing, we were doing so well as well I got the "park the tank" achievement and I was very happy with that! only to give it up in such a poor manner, but we still have a 12 point lead in La Liga and look odds on for the title, in the champions league we did well and progressed to the quater final where we will play Man Utd, with the winner playing Man City or Arsenal as the last 8 is dominated by england (4 teams) Spain (2 teams) Italy (1 Team) Switzerland (1 team)

Very close games with Man United must have been a bit nervous for those matches, I know I would have been. Domestically a breeze and I am sure you can beat Arsenal in the second leg.

How are Getafe doing? Been relegated yet?

Well that my friends is it. I intend to leave Madrid and Spain very soon possibly for France but I want a challenge now, any way back to this month the league was already won so I told the guys to go out and enjoy themselves, and it showed as we comfortably won 5-0 before the big one, the trip from Arsenal, it was again a close game but we managed to get through thanks to extra time, the League finished off a bit frustratingly with a defeat from Villarreal before beating Getafe, we then sealed the copa del ray with a narrow victory but I wasn't prepared for the champions league final Wow what a game!

    And ive reappeared in France.

Athlétic Club Arles-Avignon (French pronunciation: [aʁl-aviɲɔ̃]; commonly referred to as Arles-Avignon or simply Arles) is a French association football club originally based in Arles. The club was founded in 1912 as a result of a merger and was formerly known as Athlétic Club Arles, but in 2010, moved to the nearby commune of Avignon and adopted its current name. Arles-Avignon currently plays in Ligue 2, the second division in French football, having suffered relegation to the league after playing in Ligue 1 in the 2010–11 season. The club's ascension to the first division was notable due in part to the fact that the club achieved successive promotions in four of the past five football seasons.

Arles-Avignon plays its home matches at the Parc des Sports in nearby Avignon.09, In France, it has been commonplace to described Arles-Avignon as an overachieving club primarily due to succeeding despite limited resources. Arles-Avignon's highest honour to date was winning its group in the Championnat de France amateur, the fourth level of French football, in 2007. Regionally, the club has won the Division Honneur Sud-Est Ouest three times and its reserve team are the current defending champions of the Méditerranée Division Honneur Régionale.

Arles-Avignon is known locally as Les Lions (English: The Lions) and incorporates the nickname into a multitude of club's fixtures, most notably its crest. After merging with Avignon, the club unveiled its new crest on 4 June 2009.[1] The crest combines both elements of each club's predecessors and unscripted on the crest is Pays d'Arles Grand Avignon, which pays tribute to the inhabitants of the city of Arles and the Grand Avignon, the metropolitan area that encompasses the commune of Avignon. In 2010, the club changed its crest again to coincide with its promotion to Ligue 1.

Since 2011 Avignon had been in Ligue 2 untill the last season where they spent it in Ligue 1 but managed to get relegated with a poor showing of 10 points, which was 34 points from saftey!

ive got some re building to do but i think we will do ok.

Well a bit of a mixed bag in pre-season. we held our own in all the games it was disappointing to lose to Vitesse even though they finished 3rd in the Dutch championship I'm only disappointed with the GF 38 result but ill accept it as my side are only just getting used to the tactics (the same 5-3-2 from spain) ive tweaked a little bit to suit the side with less quality, now we begin to get going in the main challenge of getting the club back into Ligue 1

Well a bit of an odd month for us, at home we are brilliant free-flowing and comfortably ahead of sides who come to Arles away from home we seemed like a side of 11 strangers just unable to get a foothold in the game, I'm not going to play hoof it football I want to play passing football and I don't want to deviate away from the policy if I can help it. We changed in the final away game of the month with me dropping the AMC for away matches and putting him as the DMC ( I remember at real we seemed too defensive with the DMC and subsequently ditched it in favour of the more attacking AMC) in the trip to Istres we seemed more solid as a unit breaking successfully, I'll be interested to see how this pans out next month

Current Position after 5 games: 4th

No table yet as its still early on

Dammit! Stade Brestois equalizer cost us the perfect month, we are seeming to play a bit more solidly we just need to work on taking our chances, we had plenty of them in the last few games but we need to score them as a little hiccup can see us drawing or losing a few back to back games but for now I'm looking at the positives we are unbeaten this month we have made the 4th round of the Spanish cup where we play Ligue 1 side Sedan, but the league is my priority, its a straight three up three down in France i need to make sure I'm in the top 3 come May as there's no play-offs and we sit 2nd chasing down leaders Lemas.

Current position after 9 games 2nd

Next month ill start posting the table as its starting to take shape

That was a cracking start for us this month as we managed to get 3 points from one of the big guns in Ligue 2, and again it's our away form that lets us down its extremely annoying as we wobble on the road, we need to get more solid on our travels, im still hanging onto top spot but only just we don't deserve to go up or be champions if we cant sort out our away form, we have work to do on that a few new additions as there is no transfer window in Ligue two which is odd but fun in a few 18 yr old French attackers brought in.

    League after 12 games:

    1st Alves 25 Points
    2nd LEMAS 25 Points
    3rd Nacy 24 Points

Well hopefully we have had our blip we stumped with only 2 league wins in 6 games which is disappointing but we have had all bar two of our strikers injured or suspended, but we have come through the other side hopefully as the 4-0 win over Creteil shows, and to manage to scrape through in the cups is a major plus for us too.

A good month all round I'm a bit disappointed with the defeat too Stade Brestois as we should have won as we battered them but it's now march and we are in the top three which I'm chuffed with and still easily have the chance to win the league, we also progress into the quarter final of the coupe de France where we will face Lyon so I full expect to be eliminated them, But as always the league is my priority. on the goals front they all came from different players with only bayisenge grabbing more than one finish.

Why does your table at the bottom of each post say 'Alves' when your club is 'AC Arles-Avignon'? Is that the club's short name?

Anyhow, KUTGW with this great career, acidmonkey.

Well we took a massive step to winning the division and I took a big step to becoming the first manager to win a trophy with Arles, two games left against bottom and 17th position, we were comfortably beaten in the cup although that was a great run and I'm proud of the lads, wish we had got to the final as the other winning semi final team were GF 38 so i could have won it if id sneaked the semi, but oh well it wasn't to be, concentrate on being promoted and getting the first competitive trophy! As you can see the top of the table has changed quite dramatically Toulouse has come from nowhere and Harve are on a losing streak and are plummeting!

Well the first senior trophy has been added to the French clubs trophy cabinet! we coasted the last game but the hard work starts now there's a lot of players i need to move on, to give me the funds to improve the squad. especially the change in formation as i need a couple of wingers, so that's what I'm looking for first, but the aims next season are:

Get more than 10 points! - amount of points they got last time!
Get more than 20 points - most Ligue 1 points they have ever ammassed!
    Get an Away Win
    Get two Home wins
    Saftey.

Well pre-season all done and dusted get ready for a long hard season, having spent Ł9m on new recruits, we need to blend quickly and get running as we play PSG second game of the season, so we need toget points from the firs t game of the season none of my opening games stand out as definite wins, so it will all be difficult, and wouldn't be surprised to see us near the bottom for the first couple of months

Well we didnt get off to such a good star in the league the first game against Tours was disappointing as we had the lead before throwing it away, we were soundly beaten against PSG as i expected, but the next three games saw us pick up 7 points, which is encouraging only three points from my first target. and wins at home and only road left us better off than last time in Ligue 1, i refuse to deviate from playing football i wont set my team to grind results out

Holy ****! this month has been EPIC! 100% record has seen us smash the points Arles picked up in their last venture to Ligue 1, and also sent us soaring into 2nd spot in this primitive league table, it will be interesting when it starts to settle down, there's a couple more games in this run i can see us taking maximum points from before the harder matches come back around, safety still was and still is my priority its the sole aim of this campaign i want to stay up then push on, strangely enough Man Utd are interested in my France U21 striker.

Another brilliant month as we currently sit in a champions league spot, but I know it's all going to end badly, I know it but my aim it's to rack as many points as possible on the board before it goes all pear shaped, Already my team is being linked with other sides, and I'm linked with the PSG Job, I'm hoping to reach the 40 point mark soon, which will make me relax. However if PSG offer me the job it will be a hard decision.

Well it's the turn of the year and we found ourselves sat in 3rd in the league, which I'm ecstatic with to be honest, with 38 points at christmas im safe bet to stay up we have ran the big teams close, and even beat Lyon, we are doing well against the lower table sides, and the sides around the relegation zone, 38 points would keep us up in 5 of the last 7 seasons so i think survival is achieved im now aiming for a top half finish

    Table after 20 games

    1st Lyon 48 Points
    2nd OM 43 Points
    3rd Arles 38 Points
4th Lille 37 Points (1 Game in hand)
