As you can see I've taken the approach of "score more than the opposition" as opposed to my defensive game in Germany, and it seems to be working so far may as well play to the strengths of my squad and that is definitely attacking. with the talent available to me it would be madness not to push the ball forward and give the attacking line chances. and is proved by scoring 34 goals this month and long may it continue!

Well it was an ok month but I'm majorly disappointed with the result against Barca we dominated for 90 minutes we were unlucky on lots of occasions as we spurned chance after chance, but we bounced back in the champions league with a cracking result in Holland, as we continued our 100% record in Europe. In the league we are 6 points clear of Barca and continue to look strong already getting the idea of who will be leaving in the summer considering going after Jansen no matter the cost.

Well a good solid month for us four league wins, and solid wins in the cups, Deportivo and sevila were solid wins on the road, as we continued or dominance at the top of the table, we followed it up with a good win over wolfsburg, how we managed is beyond me after we got two men sent off as we completely lost our cool it was a disappointing to see us losing our cool. We then then destroyed A. Madrid in the Madrilleno, before bottom club Recreativo got two absolute trouncing first in the league and then in the copa del ray. as we enter the winter break with the second leg to be first game after.

    Ha ha,

Well ive made the decision that Felipe Sousa, the Portugese Keeper i signed for dortmund is my number one target to replace Casillias as he retires in the summer, ive decided because of the brilliance of Somoza, i have decided not to persue Jansen but keep an eye on him, as he has repeatedly refused contract offers from Dortmund,

WELL!!! who needs Jansen when I've got Somoza! 11 goals in one month! he's on fire I hope it's not just a flash in the pan, but over the course of the season it doesn't look it. hes already broke the 70 goals mark in all competition and I have a feeling he will push for 100 if he continues like this, its been in no small fact down to Surin setting up 28 goals so far this season. we also managed to overturn the deficit and progress into the Quarter finals where will play my old club and current holders Dortmund, Which should be loads of fun.

Well a busy month for us this month as 8 fixtures took place in April, and we did well running out 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, the annoyance was the defeat was in the second of the four el classicos and more importantly was in the champions league 1st leg, so we have to go to Barcelona and nab a win to get to the final. also this month saw me begin the process of re-building the squad into a young pacy Spanish side hopefully as I put nine players up for sale, all of which are over 30 still struggling to get Sousa to move from Dortmund however they look likly to finish bottom half of the bundesliga with suprisngly a very similar squad to last season, so I can't understand the rubbishness of Frank De Boer, but im hoping no champions league will drive the prices down in the summer

The defeat to villarreal mean it was the first time i ever had back to back league defeats and im not happy in the slightest abut it!, The defeat to Barca was a terrible performance and im gutted we have gone out at this stage and so badly to Barca, and ill be looking for some serious revenge next season as i want to win Real's 11th Champions league title and reclaim the trophy we last won in 2016. but we are still in the hunt for the double. the first of the exodus begins as Marcelo goes to Sao Paulo, Higuain signs for Hull, Sahin to Blackburn and continues through the Month as Varne signs for Sampdoria, Areola agrees a deal with Bordeauz Ramos, Ronaldo and Casillias will both retire in the summer and ideally will join the coaching staff but i have doubts on Ronaldo

    Meadow Park
    Capacity 1,000
    Reason : live in sunderland

    F.C. Barcelona 2 - 2 Real Madrid C.F. (Supercopa)

Real Madrid C.F. could count themselves somewhat fortunate to have escaped with a draw against F.C. Barcelona in their Supercopa de España game at Camp Nou.

The first noteworthy incident of the match proved to be controversial, with Real Madrid C.F. seeing a goal disallowed. An error from F.C. Barcelona's Eric Barton allowed midfield playmaker Marcos Rigoni to score a close range finish which was timed impeccably. Striker Guaraci then equalised for F.C. Barcelona in the 77th minute with a tidy finish.

Real Madrid C.F. were nearly gifted a goal on 81 minutes through Nenê's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them. R. Madrid captain Lucas Moura then put Real Madrid C.F. in front after 82 minutes with a header.

With time rapidly running out however, enthusiastic striker Vladimir Abramov then scored a well struck shot from inside the box which made sure to equalise for F.C. Barcelona.

Lots of solid wins again this month Somoza is starting to show the form from last season which im happy about especially alongside the rest of my attacking line, despite the wholesale changes we are a good attacking side this season again. I didn't think I was going to win the game against sporting as it was still goalless in the 70th minute before the late flurry of goals, and it came down as another routine win, Castilla boss continues to play Sedano right wing but he's still managed 3 goals in 3 games. In the champions league it was the usual comfortable wins in a pretty easy group this year

was gutted we managed to lose the opening game of the month as we deservedly went down to Malaga but that seemed to spur us on as we took victories in the remaining matches of the month, breezed through our champions league games and the Copa Del Ray, Sedano was on fire for us as he has been in the Castilla squad as he has fired them to the top of Spain's second tier, pity we couldnt get them into La Liga and did a 1/2 but winning the top two league does me nicely if i leave him in the castilla squad this season he will 100% be promoted to the first team next season for his 18th birthday and ill have the tough decision of who to sell.

Well the comfortable win over Metalist saw us qualify for the knockout round with two games to spare. before we followed it up with a solid win over Bilbao. Cant belive Barca smashed me again, it was 1-1 at the break and it narks me that we turn into a bunch of useless pub players, i dont want my season to be defined by the el clasico games as it frustrate me so much, but we have to keep going we hold the upper hand in the league, which is enough for now.

Well after losing in the champions league and dawning a very winnable game we finished by sealing my progression in the cup, as only losing 10-0 in Madrid will see me out, still only hanging onto top spot though but progressing with ease in the cups, with ease hopefully I can get some daylight between us and Barca in the coming months though. Well in the B side Sedano is motoring on still as he's got 11 goals in 14 games as Castilla sit in 4th position.

    Rep. Ireland

The Republic of Ireland national football team represents Ireland in association football. It is run by the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and currently plays home fixtures at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which opened in May 2010.

The team made its debut at the 1924 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals, it also participated at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Between 1924 and 1936, the team competed as the Irish Free State and from then until 1950, it was referred to by the FAI as Éire or Ireland.[citation needed] In 1953, FIFA decreed that for competitive matches in tournaments that both Irish teams may enter, the FAI team would be officially called the Republic of Ireland while the IFA team was to be named Northern Ireland (The IFA continued to use the name "Ireland" until 1970 for non-FIFA competitions).[2]

Under the guidance of Jack Charlton and his successor Mick McCarthy, the team enjoyed its most successful era, qualifying for UEFA Euro 1988 in their first appearance at the UEFA European Championship, reaching the quarterfinals of the 1990 FIFA World Cup in their first ever appearance at the finals, and making the last 16 at both the 1994 and 2002 FIFA World Cups. Under the guidance of Giovanni Trapattoni, the team narrowly lost out on qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup during a controversial play-off and missed out on qualification to the 2012 European championships, After the retirement of Trapattoni, Ireland finished third in the 2014 world cup Qualifiers behind Romania and England.
Mick McCarthy then returned to the hotseat and guided them to their first major chapionships since 2002 as he guided them to 3rd in the group then into the finals after beating Lithuania. In france however they picked up 0 points, scored 3 goals and went home early. they faired better in the 2018 qualifiers as they won the group and went to Russia for the world cup, however they drew a difficult group and finished 3rd.
McCarthy was replaced by Hughton it wasnt a good time as they bombed in the euro qualifiers and they again in the World cup qualifiers, Ireland have sank down to 69th in the world rankings.

The side was the first team from outside the United Kingdom to defeat England on home soil, at a fixture played at Goodison Park, Liverpool, in 1949. The team also reached the quarter-finals of the 1964 European Nations' Cup.

Well the two draws were major stumbling points in the league as we allowed Barcelona back into the title race and find ourselves second based on only the result earlier in the season, which is disappointing as we now rely on them slipping up or getting three points from them later in the season. on the plus side we have managed to give ourselves an epic lead in the champions league first leg. and should easily make the quarters.

    Table after 25 games

Its hard to see this as anything other than as a disappointment despite the wins, we drew with Granada We beat everything else in front of us but it was the Granada game that caused us issues as we threw everything at them but couldn't capitalize and keep level on top of the table, Also as of the 29th of March we (us and Barcelona) have sealed our qualificiation for next seasons Champions League. Well a busy month but a month in which we have seen us win all of our games, but specifically we have effectively won the league, as we completely smashed Barca in Madrid the odd goal I would have been pleased with but six I was ecstatic with that tied alongside Barca dropping points it leaves us completely in the driving seat for the final few games, the champions league was just as much a success as we beat Schalke with ease in the semi finals and set up a tie with Barcelona at the Stade de France next month. Sedando still only has 11 goals due to him playing wide right now, however a Brazilian striker i signed to bolster the b team has grabbed 11 in 15 and i constantly keep an eye on him

    Table after 36 games
    REAL MADRID 94 Points
Barcelona 82Points (2 games in hand)

Well Game set and match Madrid, managed to smash the league as after the solid win last month they struggled to recover, dropping more points and left us with a bigger end of season gap than expected, overall i would a preferred it to be a lot more comfortable in the league but it was pretty obvious to be honest who was going to win after el classico, this month there was only two league games the Madrid derby which end in a draw and a pretty standard win over a poor osasuna side, the month was also full of cup finals this month as we sealed the Copa del ray and beat Barca in the champions league final

The Spain national football team (Spanish: Selección de fútbol de España) represents Spain in international association football and is controlled by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the governing body for football in Spain. The current head coach is Vicente del Bosque. The Spanish side is commonly referred to as La Roja (The Red ) or La Furia Roja (The Red Fury).

Spain are the current reigning World and European champions, having won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship. Spain also won the 1964 European Nations' Cup and reached the UEFA Euro 1984 Final. In July 2008 Spain rose to the top of the FIFA World Rankings for the first time in the team's history, becoming the sixth nation to top this ranking, and the first nation to top the ranking without previously having won the World Cup. Between November 2006 and June 2009 Spain went undefeated for a record-tying 35 consecutive matches before their loss to the United States, a record shared with Brazil, including a record 15-game winning streak and thus earning third place in the FIFA Confederations Cup.

in 2012 Pep Guardiola took over from Del Bosque, He led them to 3rd place in the Confed cup and a quarter final loss to France,
Juan Carlos Garrido was in charge for Euro 2016 but failed to get Spain out of the group in France.
Pep Guardiola was back in chage for the run to the 2018 world cup but a 2nd round loss to England saw him lose his job and replaced by Garrido again, who guided them to 2nd spot in Euro 2020 in belgium losing 1-0 after extra to England.
Luis Enrique was given the job into the 2022 world cup but one three points from their group saw them fail to get out of the group and see the once proud nation sat in 6th in the Fifa Rankings with Euro 2024 around the corner on home soil

Well a average Pre-Season if I'm fair, on the Transfer front it was 3 in 3 out with the older heads being sold on for newer younger replacements all from the summer's world cup, Brazilian Centre Midfielder Silva Joined with a view to the future and has been placed into the Castilla squad for the coming season, Kwarteng the 22 Year old Ghana Right back has impressed me the previous two summers but he moved to PSV when I had other targets in mind, but this summer i got my man and he will slot into the right back position with Santangelo moving into the middle alongside Milas Alsop signed was Juventus and Italy Right back Fimongnari, he will be Back up to Kwarteng but will also cover the middle of defence, attacking signings there were none the only addition is Sedando moving into the Full team after impressing in the Castilla squad last season. Im also keeping an eye on some Under 16 players with the intention of adding them to the U19 squad to begin building up a big pool of Talent

Well the Spanish cup game saw us change tact slightly as I've moved to a 5-3-2 with wing-backs purely because I've always liked the formation currently have a defensive one and I'm developing an attacking one to work alongside it, and i have to say in the two games ive played using it, it has performed very well, two clean sheets 9 goals and a couple of solid performances, however the big test is on November 1st when we play Man City in the champions league

    League table after 10 games

    1st REAL MADRID 26 Points

Well I AM going to say the new tactic is on fire! however I think it's more to do with the fact i have the better players I am disappointed that Gimnastic managed to score as we had been solid at the back up to that point, I've decided due to the lack of right wing backs in my squad I'm training a couple of right backs to play there, 15 goals from the 7 games is a good return a small one for me normally but a good return all the same its very defensive though I want to try and work out a bit more of an attacking version if I'm honest

    League table after 14 games

1st REAL MADRID 35 Points (1 Game in hand
    2nd Barcelona 30 Points
    3rd Athletic Blibao 29 Points

    League table after 17 games

Disappointed with the draw as its allowed Bilbao to move closer to us but at Christmas we are top of the league, which is a cracking effort with the new tactic we aren't smashing the goals in left right and centre like we were but we are hitting solid comfortable wins which is what is important. and the attacking 5-3-2 is helping a lot with dominating teams, and the front three passing the ball about well, I'm chuffed we won the World Club cup and Barcelona are well behind in the championship race.

Always seem to draw a monthly league game, we are still in the strongest position to win La Liga though as we continue to be unbeaten this season. and we are solid at the back id prefer some more goals, but as long as I'm unbeaten and top of the league I'm happy. I've also qualified for the Copa del Ray Final where I'll play Barcelona, and I'll also got myself a solid position in the Champions league first knockout round. with a good lead heading into the second leg.
