Player Profiles have been added, so you are now able to view your player at will As you will notice, each players is 15 years old, but turns 16 on 1/7/2011

I don't think I have time to post an update tonight, but you will definately see 1 and maybe even 2 tomorrow. I will start the game tonight

Loving life at Blackpool right now! Interesting to note that those of us higher up the chain have started worth much more, but room to advance for those below us!

Although valuation is higher, you have to wonder who will progress more early on. Those lower down are having a lot more games, but the training isn't as good, whilst players like you are getting decent training, but will have to prove a point in order to get 1st team action.

The first update is going to be done tomorrow afternoon. I just need to extract the data from the game.

That's the intrigue I think. I almost went to an elevator team in League 1 to get the best of both world, a team that can make the Championship, but also gets me enough time to play. Plus imo a 120 CA is enough to get a spot at a Championship club, as long as the avenue is open.

That was the thinking behind my club as well. We have Middlesbrough with excellent facilities in place, and at the same time they are short on strikers. The only recognised ST they got is Scot McDonald, and to be honest he is not very good. (Well I can't get him to play well at least.) The rest are youngsters like myself. Should get a lot of games me thinks.

Ok guys, update will be up within the next 2 - 4 hours. While I was at work, I was thinking more about it and i've missed a few things out. I just need to make sure i subscribe to everything, so that we dont miss any points out.

I'm going to be calculating monthly, but I will be doing updates in January and End Of Season
Just a heads up, the player images in the OP are now null and void. I have had to restart the game because of the things that i'd missed, due to already doing 6 months into the game. I wont be replacing them with the new ones however, I'll replace them on the January update.

I've revised the points system slightly, removing certain things and changing names of certain things. Domestic will apply for all achievements with your club, while International obviously applies for all achievements with your International team. We will no longer be counting Non-Competitive match achievements and U21 National Achievements. I will also be removing the Goal Of The Month rewards points due to being unable to view that certain award.

The update is currently in progress.

I'm having slight problems creating the Striking Sensation Table, so the update is going to take longer than first estimated. I need to figure out how to do the table without it being all over the place.

[EDIT] Sorted it out now Although it looks a bit bold for my liking

    Striking Sensation Update (July 1st 2011 - January 1st 2012)

The Striking Sensation Game Thread is now up and running! It's already January and we currently have 2 players running up some big scores! Thomas Weir and Makoto Nakamura are the fore-runners with 58 points and 46 points respectively! Unfortunately we also have 2 at the bottom of the table with 0 points. Although Arawn Moridin has played a few games, he's been unable to hit the back of the net and even failed to assist any goals, but fortunately escaped any yellow or red cards. Aidan Lfc however, has played 0 games, so remains on 0 points. He's currently considering a contract offer from West Ham and is being tutored by one of the West Ham Veterans, lets hope come the end of the season, Aidan can pick up a few points!

The updates do take a long time, especially doing the table, as I have to work out the points and then fill the table out in order, so I'm sure you appreciate that I have a limit on what I can put in an update. If there is anything you wish to request, screenshots or anything, just let me know and i'll sort it out for you, seperate to the updates. Also, if there is anything you feel i'm missing from my updates, don't hesitate to let me know

Also, remember that these scores could mean nothing, come the end of the season, as awards and promotions or relegations come with big point additions or deductions and if somebody decideds to go on a killing spree with red cards, that can hurt your points too. Injuries are also a problem sometimes, as 1 of you will already know, with a big injury to your name.

Finally, update data, such as the table and the player images will be instantly replacing the OP table and player images. This basically means the OP will always be up to date.

I think you should post the Attributes page rather than the information one, because then we can see how many games we have played etc

January Transfer Window update will be added soon. It's just a short update which includes transfers and important information.

I agree, I will make sure I do that for the next update. I've already continued, so I wont be able to do that for the 1st one unfortunately.

I'm sure your guy will get some games before the end of the season If he continues to score goals for the U18's, he will definately get a chance.

    January Transfer Window Update (1st January 2012 - 31st January 2012)
    • Davitzis leaves Crewe for Sporting in the Portuguese Premier League for £170k
    • Jim Bowman leaves Crawley to join Leeds United in the Championship at the cost of £525k! He joins fellow striker Bjorgvin Radebe.
    • Makoto Nakamura has made the move to Millwall from Tonbridge for a small fee of £220k.
    • Juan Coco Luis Pereira has made one of the biggest moves this transfer window after his £375k switch from Brentford to German side FC Bayern.
    • Hype Animz was subject to a £500k transfer from Oxford to Scottish side Celtic!
    • David Ginsberg has completed his transfer to Portuguese side Braga. AFC Wimbledon raked in a record transfer fee of £525k
Geraint Alacarde rejected a lucrative offer from Italian side Roma, stating that the contract offer was insulting and he felt his agent deserved a better agents fee.
    • Lukied Jaziri moved straight up to the big time with a £525k switch from Stevenage to Liverpool FC.
    • Jamie Hernandez made arguably the biggest switch of the transfer window after Man Utd's £1.7mil offer was accepted by Nottingham Forest!
    • Gypsum Fantastic was the second player to move to Celtic this window, joining fellow striker Hype Animz. Celtic paid Aldershot £425k
"Unknown" gets his first cap for his country, whilst scoring on his debue!

"Unknown" becomes the 2nd player to gain a cap for their country.
    • Thomas Weir was the player on everybody's lips all the way up to January. Coventry had definately taken notice and quickly lodged a £230k bid which was accepted by lowly Vauxhall, quickly securing the transfer soon afterwards.
    • Geraint Alacarde made a big move from Port Vale to Italian side AC Milan, costing the Italians just £400k!
    That concludes the transfer window...

It's going to be interesting to see 2 of the 20 most potentially talented strikers in the world team up together in the SPL :P Same goes for the Leeds United duo.

You might benefit from the top class training facilities and coaches. Who knows, they may even loan you out in the summer transfer window?

I may possibly have the end of season report up and ready for 12pm, but if I don't, it will be ready for tomorrow afternoon. I will give a little hint though... The current rankings will definately be different in some way or another.

I don't have time to complete the update, but i've uploaded all the images and i've worked out the points, I just need to make the table tomorrow and post the images which shouldn't take long I'm going to put you out of your misery though and break it to you... You still have 0 points

Just a little teaser, we have a new leader for our striker sensation leaderboard! We also have 2 players who got hit by the -20 point deduction! Finally, there is 2 players who took full advantage of their transfer in January and racked up the points, can you figure out who they are?

Anyway, thats good night from me...

Alright! Was about to kill him when I saw he rejected Roma but nice of him to go Milan.

By the way, it would be much easier for you to calculate the points if you use Excel spreadsheet.

    Striking Sensation Update (January 1st 2011 - June 1st 2012)

Gypsum Fantastic was the man to end on a high at the end of the season, making an instant and much better impact after his move to Celtic in the SPL. He also partners Hype Animz, who also joined Celtic and has done very well to snatch 3rd place, in behind the previous leader, Thomas Weir. Weir hasn't had the best second half to the season, but has done enough to keep in touching distance with Gypsum. At the bottom of the table, we have Arawn Moridin who has failed miserably at Middlesbrough, playing a part in 7 games with 5 starts and ending with 0 goals and 0 assists. Hopefully next season will bring Moridin some better fortune.

3 players tasted league glory this season as Celtic's Gypsum Fantastic and Hype Animz picked up their SPL medals, whilst Stuart Shaw helped Birmingham to win the Championship. Following the success of Fantastic and Animz, we now know that everybody else needs to kick start their careers in order to keep up.

Several players also made their International Debue's and played several games for their International sides. If you want to know anything more about this, just let me know.

I made mistakes when i first set it up, so I had to re-set up. I notified everyone before the first update that their stats would be different. This is due to the fact that apart from the 5 preffered stats, every other stat is 0 in the editor, which means the game will randomize the stats upon set-up.

I will tell you though, in the next update, I think you will be much happier with your players progress

    Summer Transfer Window News

Thomas Weir is on the move yet again this summer! Manchester City lodged a £625k bid which Coventry could not resist. Weir had failed to make an impact for the Sky Blues, but will be hoping to progress his career at the richest club in the world.

    Proffessional Contracts...
    • Bjorgvin Radebe - 1k
    • Aidan Lfc - 1k
    • Stuart Shaw - 1k
    • Arawn Moridin - 1k
    • Ben Goldsmith - 1k
    • Jamie Hernandez - 5.75k
    • Makoto Nakamura - 4.8k
    • Lukied Jaziri - 5.5k
    • Jim Bowman - 6.75k
    • David Ginsberg - 4.3k
    • Davatzis - 6.25k
    • Geraint Alacarde - 4.4k
    • Long Tym Toon Tiny - 1k
    • Ignjatije Uljarevic - 1k
    • Thomas Weir - 11k
    • Nick Adam - 1k
    • Edoardo Lorenzo - 1k
    • Juan Coco Luis Pereira - 5.25k
Ben Goldsmith was on the verge of a big transfer to Manchester United, untill Utd decided to pull the plug.

Plymouth have sold Nick Adam to French Lique 1 side Girondins Bordeaux for the small fee of just £130k!

Recently relegated Wigan Athletic have signed Long Tym Toon Tiny for £500k from Darlington.

Shortly after signing for Manchester City, Thomas Weir signed a 5 month loan deal with League 1 side Swindon.

Juan Coco Luis Pereira has rejected loan offers from German side Cottbus and French side AS Monaco FC!

That concludes the Summer Transfer Window...

You will have to wait and see You escaped the -20 point deduction due to lack of games last season.

Well you've grown in your year at Darlo, maybe its time to move up the ladder? Wigan is a good place to go as they have high hopes in the championship.

Well thats me done for today, hopefully I can bring another 2 updates tomorrow. I've already worked out the points for the next update and I can tell you, there are some big points being scored this season! The question is, will we have a new leader or will the celtic duo dominate the leaderboard? Has anybody managed to win any awards yet? Has Moridin managed to score some decent points ??? All will be revealed in the next update!

I think you should hope for a loan transfer really, its too early for the big time imo. Everybody has signed professional contracts now, so its onwards and upwards now.

Impressive stuff from little Gypsum, two goals on his international debut too! But he's already got the second red card of his career at 16!! Like an angry Welsh Messi.

    Striking Sensation Update (June 1st 2012 - January 2013 )

Tomas Weir has re-taken the 1st place with a fantastic 1st half to the season! He has smashed in a ton of goals on loan at Swindon and his parent club will have high hopes for the future. Gypsum is just 8 points behind, but some would argue that he needs to learn to control himself on the pitch, after picking up 8 yellow cards and 2 reds, compared to Weir's clean record! Hype Animz is staying within touching distance on 111 points, but will need to keep up his form in order to keep up with Weir and Fantastic.

At the other end of the table, Arawn finally scored some points and even left bottom spot to take up 18th place! Pereira and Hernandez take up 19th and 20th place respectively and have a ton of work to do to come anywhere near close to the top 10.

Aidan Lfc picked up the 1st ever award, as he collected the Premier League's "Young Player Of The Month" award! Gypsum Fantastic missed out on some bonus points as he came 2nd in the SPL "Young Player Of The Month".

    Striking Sensation Update (January 2013 - June 2013 )

Thomas Weir had a remarkable season as he joined Swindon on loan and then making his Manchester City debue in the closing stages of the season! He gained 2 awards (Team of The Year and Top Goalscorer) as he scored 26 goals in 38 appearances. Weir holds onto his 1st place spot, whilst Gypsum Fantastic earned his own 2 awards and holds onto 2nd place! Hype Animz also holds onto 3rd spot and the 3 of them are arguably doing far better than everybody else so far.

Unfortunately at the bottom of the table, we have Arawn Moridin who scored 20 points, but had 20 points deducted due to poor performances. Jamie Hernandez climbed up to 19th, but still had a poor season.

All points deductions and gains can be found above the leaderboard.

I've just noticed that Hype Animz and Gypsum Fantastic have extra points to be added for Celtic winning the league and the Scottish Cup. This is 50 points each, which means Gypsum takes 1st place ahead of Thomas Weir. I will add these points on the next update. This also means it's currently a 3 horse race as 4th placed Jim Bowman is 91 points behind 3rd.

As the lads are now becoming Full Internationals, i'm now going to provide more updates, focused on the World Cup and European Cup and other major International cups.

What? Your kidding?!? It can't get any worse can it? Did Mordin move to City or Liverpool or something like that?
If he did then this tread will be officially dead to me

    End of rant

I've also made more mistakes by missing off the Promotion points!

Ben Goldsmith will gain 20 points.
Long Tym Toon Tiny will gain 20 points.

Yeah, Leeds will be 1 of the richest Championship clubs now with the sale of both players coming to £20mil! Fulham wanted you, but when Wigan came calling, you took their offer instead, so Fulham went for the other guy instead

Very happy with my 3rd place. It would seem that ive decided to stop assisting my strike partner so much and be a bit greedier. Shame my Wales career hasnt taken off

Yeah, you have both been destroying the Scottish League, but you now have a rival at Rangers

Ok guys, i've decided that January updates wont include a table anymore, which should allow me to bring quicker updates. I find that it will probably be much easier to just do an end of season table because I don't need to figure out how many goals, assists, etc you have got since January.

They are currently using you as their Striker, whilst using 2 AMC's behind you, so at the moment they don't use an AMR.

I can't see anybody catching Celtic up now, but stranger things have happened As it stands, I think both of you are getting +30 bonus points for AVMR at the end of the season, lets see if you can keep your form going.

If Davatsis keeps playing this bad in international matches, Santos will cut me off

On the bright side, my strikers stats are developing nicely

Damn, Gypsum and Hype are on fire this season! And nice to see Gypsum has curbed his aggressive streak slightly.

    January 2014 Transfer Window
    • Thomas Weir has sensationally rejected a contract offer by Manchester City. It has been known in recent weeks that Weir is dissillusioned at City due to the lack of 1st team opportunities.
    • Long Tym Toon Tiny has accepted a contract extension from Wigan, as they look to tie down one of their main assets. Tiny will earn £15.25k a week.
    • Jamie Hernandez has turned down the chance to go on loan to Bolton and stay at Man Utd, to try and break into the first team.
    • Arawn Moridin has joined Hernandez in an attempt to get first team action, by turning down the chance to go on loan to Championship side Brighton.
    • Jamie Hernandez has yet again turned down the chance to go on loan to Bolton.
    • West Ham United's top goalscorer Aidan Lfc has accepted a new contract extension and is on 6.75k a week
That concludes the January Transfer Window...
