Climbing The Ladder

20 of the World's most gifted young strikers, have been found in the 20 worst ranked nations in the World.

The 20 worst ranked FIFA nations have all unearthed great prospects in one of their clubs, will these players inspire their respective National Team to International excellence and inspire a generation of fellow countrymen to improve as footballers.

Posted below are the 20 nations and their ranks, what I need from you is a name, your nation of choice(1 player per nation) and your favourite club(must be one of Europes top teams). Date of birth will be the same for all players and each will have 125 CA and 200 PA.

Points will be awarded for the following

- Qualify for World Cup - 50pts

- World Player of the Year - 50pts

- International Goal - 1 point per goal

- Ranking Movement - movement up the table 1 Point per place, movement down the table -1 point per place(this will be done 6 monthly)

- Signing for favoured club - 25pts(all points except ranking placements will be doubled while with your favoured club)

I was going gradually through the game, but by the time I'd reached september there wasn't anything worth note, apart from a few youth caps and some pre contracts players signed with the clubs they are already at. I've decided just to holiday to the 1st update so hopefully I should be able to have an update during the city pool game tonight. Just to note I loaded all leagues in the game but a majority are on view only but if anyone wants to know how some teams are doing then feel free to ask.

Update 31st December 2011

Thomas Weir

Has scored 16 goals in 25 appearances for Red Sea, has yet to be capped for Eritrea at any level, has major interest from HSV, AC Milan, Rosenburg, Racing and Valencia including minor interest from Toulouse, Bayern, Sociedad, Villareal and Catania. Eritrea ended the year ranked 197th

James Sawyer

Has scored 13 goals in 23 appearances for Mauritel, has yet to be capped for Mauritania at any level, has major interest from Inter and Juventus in Italy, and Palmeiras, Coritiba and Figueirense in Brazil. Mauritania finished the year ranked 189th

Brendon Hedger

Scored 9 goals in 13 games for his club Kiwi, and also scored 4 goals in 4 games for the Samoa youth side. This has attracted some european teams and Hadger will join Toulouse in June 2013. Samao finished 2011 ranked 194th

Ed Lawrence

Lawrence Ed as he is known in Macau, scored 11 goals in 17 games, and has 6 youth caps and 5 goals, which is fuelling a lot of interest from Europe with no less than 12 clubs looking at the youngster, including Sparta Prague, Racing and PSV. Macau ended 2011 ranked 187th

Blackthorn Price

Price has scored 14 goals in 24 appearances for Elman, but has yet to recieve the call-up to Somalia at any level. 15 clubs showing interst including AC Milan, Bayern and Werder Bremen to name 3. Somalia Ranked 186th at the end of the year.

Amanaki Vaikona

Vaikona has scored 13 times in his 22 games for his club, but has failed to find the net in 6 appearances for the Tonga youth. 17 clubs are all keeping tabs on the youngster including Bayern, PSV and Anji in Russia, who knows maybe he'll partner Eto'o upfront. Tonga ended 2011 188th

Abdillahi Ahmed

Djibouti youngster Ahmed scored 17 times in 25 matches for his club prompting, Le Mans of France to sign him, but he wont move til June 2013, Has yet to recieve any kind of call-up for his nation yet. Djibouti ended the year ranked 204th.

Brock Rockhard

27 games and 17 goals for Brock has proved to be enough for Mexican side Tigres to sign him. The move wont be til June 2013, failed to win any caps for Turks and Caicos who ended the year 199th in the Rankings

Rocky Brittus Jr.

Rocky has been sidelined twice for injuries in training totalling 6 weeks, but that didn't stop him averaging a goal every other game with 5 in 10 matches, has been called up to the Cook Islands youth 4 times and scored once. No clubs showing any interest at the moment, and his nation finished the year in 200th place.

Long Tym Toon

Toon has featured for his club, Quality Distributor, 13 times scoring 9 and has 2 goals in 6 matches for Guams youth side. Which appears to have been enough for French side Ajaccio to sign him, the transfer will go through in June 2013. Guam ended 2011 in 203rd place.

Jim Bowman

Bowman has scored 9 times in 11 appearances and has played 6 games for Brunei's youth scoring twice, Toulouse and Valencia are showing major interest in the player. Brunei finished in 205th place.

Bjorgvin Radebe

Has scored 12 goals in 20 games for his club, but has not recieved a call-up to the national side in any form. Will be leavung in June 2013 to join Cannes in France. Anguilla ended the year ranked 198th

Ben Goldsmith

Ben has been one of the most prolific strikers scoring 23 times in 26 matches for Druk Stars and has recieved 2 youth caps for Bhutan but is yet to score, he will be joining Tours FC in France in June 2013. Bhutan finished 207th in 2011.

Emilio do Carmo

Emilio is considered indespensible to his club, and the 15 goals in 26 starts proves why, East Timor have given him 1 youth cap but he is yet to find the score sheet. German and French Clubs seemed to be keeping tabs on him, with Bayern and HSV being the bigger names among them. East Timor managed a rank of 202nd

Milton Macho

Milton appears to be one of the more consistant scorers with 21 goals in 28 games for his club, and 5 goals oin 6 matches for his national youth team. Will be joining Toulouse in June of 2013. American Samoa finished the year 201st.

David Ginsburg

David has scored 5 times in 15 games for Santa Coloma, and has also scored 3 goals in 7 caps for Andorra's youth side. Interest in Ginsburg is High with European giants Real Madrid and Liverpool vying for his signature. Andorra finished the year ranked 193rd.

Des Tiny

Des has netted 13 times in 27 matches, to prompt RC Lens to sign him, the transfer going through in June 2013, no caps at any level for the Montserrat youngster, whose nation finised 196th.

Paolo Bambino

Paolo got himself on the scoresheet 16 times in 27 matches for his club, and 4 times in 6 games for the national youth side, yet another player being tracked by Bayern and HSV. Papua New Guinea ended the year 206th.

Josh McLachlan

Josh has made a good start to his career with 9 goals in 16 games, and in the 6 youth caps he also found the net twice. Turkish Giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are leading the way for his signature but he may opt to stay closer to home with Napoli also showing interest, San Marino finished bottom of the pile in 2011 ranked 208th.

Matius Watkai

Sao Tome striker Watkai has scored 20 times in 25 matches for Bairros but has yet to recieve a call-up to the national setup at any level. Brazilian clubs are showing a lot of interest with Corinthians and Flamengo leading the race. Sao Tome and Principe finished the season 191st.

Thomas Weir

Thomas made his international debut on 29th February against Djibouti, where he also scored his 1st goal, has 3 goals in 2 matches for his country. Gaininag Major interest from Brazil and his nation is ranked 192nd.

James Sawyer

James made his international debut on 29th February against Lesotho, no goals in his only cap. Looks like he may be going to Brazil with 7 clubs a showing interest. Mauritania are now ranked 155th

Brendon Hedger

Made his International Debut against Fiji on the 25th of May and scored his 1st goal 2 days later against American Samoa. 1 in 2 so far for his nation who are 198th.

Ed Lawrence

International Debut and 1st goal in the match against Laos on 4th April, has 3 in 3 for Macau who are now193rd, interest reamins extremely high for his signature.

Blackthorn Price

Price made his debut against Ethiopia on the 29th of February where he also scored his 1st goal has 3 in 2 for Somalia who are the highest ranked at 151st. German and Brazilian Clubs want the player.

Amanaki Vaikona

Vaikona made his debut against Vanuatu on 27th May, no goals in his only cap to date, will be joining Bayern Munich in the summer of 2013. Nation ranked 189th

Abdillahi Ahmed

Made his debut in the same match as Weir on 29th February scoring his 1st goal also. has 2 in 2 for Djibouti who are ranked 197th

Brock Rockhard

One of a few players who have yet to recieve the national call up. Turks and Caicos are ranked 201st.

Rocky Brittus Jr.

Won his 1st and only cap to date against Papua New Guinea on 28th May, no goals yet. Al-Gherrafa of Qatar are the only club showing interest in the Cook Islander, who ranked 199th

Long Tym Toon

No Call ups yet for the Guam striker, his nation ranked 206th

Jim Bowman

Made his debut and scored his 1st goal versus the Philippines on April 4th, has 2 in 3. Will be joining Inter Milan in the summer of 2013. Brunei ranked 191st

Bjorgvin Radebe

Not recieved a call up yet, nation ranked 200th

Ben Goldsmith

Scored on his debut against Afghanistan on April 4th, has 2 in 3 for Bhutan who are bottom of the pile in 208th

No caps yet, but will be joining Juventus in 2013. East Timor ranked 202nd.

Has only played 1 game for American Samoa on the 27th of May but scored on that debut. ranking of 204th

The Andorran has yet to be called up to the senior team, but he has already transferred to Real Madrid, currently at their B side Castilla. Andorra are 194th

No caps for the Montserrat striker whose nation are196th

Paolo Bambino

Made his debut against New Caledonia on 25th May, but has yet to find the net in 2 caps, will Join Standard of Belgium on 2013. Papua New Guinea ranked 205th.

Has yet to be called up for the San Marino Seniors, Joined Man Utd on a free transfer and is currently in their youth team. 207th ranked nation.

Matius Watkai

made his debut against Guines-Bissau on the 29th of February, no goals in 2 caps. Will Join Galatasaray in the summer of 2013. Sao Tome ranked 190th.

I've put up the ranking movements as they happen each update, while doing it i noticed I had got a couple of movement points wrong. Most notible was Andorra who moved 11 places up the ranking after the 1st update, all points have been amended accordingly and are now in the points table.

James Sawyer

Will join Brazilian side Santos in June 2013, scored his 1st, and only goal to date, against Zimbabwe on 12th September. 5 caps for Mauritania who finished 2012 in a very impressive 110th place.

Brendon Hedger

A total of 6 goals in 7 caps for Samoa who are ranked 180th

Will Join Dutch side Utrecht in June, finished the year with 3 in 3 for Macua, now ranked 195th

Blackthorn Price

Will join CFR Cluj of Romania iin June, averaging a goal every other cap with 4 in 8. Somalia are 160th

Scored his 1st goal against American Samoa on 2nd June, has 3 in 3 for Tonga. Ranked 193rd

Finally recieved his 1st cap against Slovenia on 17th November, no goals yet, Currently on loan at Malaga. San Marino have strong shoulders holding up the rest of the table in 208th

Matius Watkai

Has yet to score for his country, 0 in 3 for Sao Tome who are ranked 192nd

From now on updates from the 1st July will be Nation Rankings, and maybe another snippet or two of stats and info, but players goals, caps, clubs and transfers will be posted at the end of the year. This mainly due to everyone having clubs to join now, and this is only about the international scene so club matches don't need to be detailed.

Here's one for you all to try and work out. Brock Rockhard has yet to be capped for his country, Turks and Caicos, but he was made Vice-captain before the captain stepped down and now he is the Captain. I can't work out the managers thinking in not playing him.

Finally made his debut for Andorra against Singapore on the 16th November 2013, also scored his 1st international goal in that match, 2 in 2 now for the nation ranked 202nd.

An handful of games for Lens, from the Montserrat front man but no caps this year. 191st the position of his nation

Paolo Bambino

scored 1 goal in his only cap of the year, getting his chance in the Standard 1st team. Papua New Guinea ranked 201st.

Josh McLachlan

Another Cap for San Marino but is still looking for that 1st goal. Has been getting some games for Man Utd, after rejecting several loan offers at the start of the season. San Marino continue to hold the table up in 208th

Matius Watkai

6 caps this year for Sao Tome where he managed to score his 1st , and only to date, internatonal goal in a match against Liberia on 11th September 2013

State of the art trainig facilities would help with your developement, which I think your current club is waybehind in having

It certainly would have that benefit, but I doubt that I would get too much playing time, if at all so it would have that downside to it.
