Sounds reasonable - although tbh I just mapped the roles by positions from FM PC largely, I'll play around and see how that makes the player behave (should be sensible enough I expect) - if it is then I'll add that in.

When sorting my squad by Ability (View/Detailed/Coach Report), I've noticed that the loaned in players will always be listed on the bottom, even though they might have the highest perceived ability on the squad. Could you fix that, so that they're listed in their correct placement?

Reserve Team Players seems to be not sortable correctly by Ability or Form!

After some season it appears that just Spain and Italy still producing good young talents. Is it intended that the Brazilian Players are just all not good enough anymore?

We're aware of some sorting issues in the reserves.

With regards to young talent, the general level of players from each nationality should not diverge massively throughout the game. If you've got any evidence that this isn't happening, I'd be very happy to hear it - but bear in mind that some years may be more 'productive' in some countries than others, and that if you don't have Brazil loaded the total number of Brazilian players in-game won't be gigantic.

I'll run some checks myself as well just to make sure it looks sane.

Not planning on it for update 3 - however we are doing 'rolling auto-save slots' there will be two auto-saves instead of just one, the idea being that this will avoid people losing their save game should their battery suddenly run out while auto-saving (which some users have been experiencing when playing for a very long period of time*).

*Which I suppose is a good thing it shows the games addictive

Just wondering if there is a possibility to make suspensions more realistic. As it is now you only get 1 match bans no matter what, even if a player has received 3-4 red cards in the same season. No 3 match bans for violent conduct etc.

There are different punishments in the game already - you generally only see the more extreme ones if you play hard-tackling and/or have very aggressive/violent players.

(these include pushing referee's, punching other players - which can receive very long bans)

I haven't seen any of those yet, have received a few two games suspensions though where the second game is because of my appeal... But what about 3 match bans and an extra game if it's the player's second straight red of the season etc. Any chance of implementing this?

I have had booth 3 and 4 game bans. Booth removed efter my apeal but still..

I'm afraid its looking likely that it'll be sometime in early March - unfortunately the database update which is part of it hasn't been fully finalized yet and there are a number of checks which have to be run after that to verify that the database is correct and plays right.

The update is approaching final QA - we've got a (hopefully) final database being checked at the moment then we'll have to proceed through the usual QA checks and submit to Apple ... please be patient.

No its correct as it stands - there are a couple of unannounced FMH changes which I've been working on, but they aren't ready for release yet and thus not posted (obviously when they are we'll let you chaps know).

I would like to add that there's one thing that really bugs me and I always forget to mention. It's about the board expecting "Continental Qualification" in the beginning of the season, on the "Season Expectations" message". I really think there should be a difference in which continental competition they're aiming for. As I don't think Chelsea board would be happy with an Europa League place. This expectation is even more out of place in the case of Brazil, where 8 clubs qualify for Sudamericana. So "Continental Qualification" means that you can finish anywhere from 1st until 13th-14th.

This is a joke! It's APRIL a week on Sunday and we don't have the JANUARY transfer update. This update will only be realistic for about 8 games then It will be out of date again till Christmas & FM13.

I doubt it would be practical to release a game in July/August myself. Why release during off peak in terms of buying when they can release near to Christmas when people recieve new iOS devices or gift cards/money? In a buisness sense it makes no sense. Plus they've always had good sales from around that period and it lets the season settle in and all loans/transfers to be finalised in order to allow a more complete and realistic database.

As for the update though Russia's window was the latest and involved two Premier League players of quite a reasonable standard reparting and that was 24th Feb so it has only been a month which is QA time then Apple submission (we don't know how long it takes to pass Apple's tests and update into the store). Sadly it isn't just finish the app then it will be updated straight away, with the window even more so but there's been fixes and potentially new features added like always that need to be checked.

Yes I am frustrated about it being this far from the window but I would rather SI do it properly and get it spot on, which I trust they'll do.

I can assure you that there's some amount of chance involved - like real football - but it is definitely not random.

We won't be introducing a QXGA skin in this update (will be an awful lot of work!). The game does run fine with the existing XGA iPad skin on the iPad 3 though.

When alari says it will be an 'awful lot of work' - bear in mind I don't think anyone here has a computer monitor with a high enough resolution to display the QXGA full screen apart from anything else, so there goes our testing in 'emulation' on a Mac/PC ....

Just to add my two cents since I have a "retina iPad" myself, FMH works really well and it all looks very nice . From a playing perspective it's not like the SD skin on a 4/4S (which I also have) where the 'HD' skin makes a lot of difference to the appearance compared to its predecessor. The new iPad handles the skin in FMH currently really well (and with any other app I've used I've found tbh), and the increase in graphics spec for the new iPad really does make everything run (and look) quite smooth IMO.

Edit - this only appears where the coach has concerns and it runs to 3 lines.
