Crashed!!

Fed up with steam!!!! i know a lot of people have been having problems and now mine has just crashed. any ideas? i cant load any saved game, or load a new game now!! its telling me:
"a serious error was encountered and the application will close.crash dumps/fm2012 v12.0.4.233639 (2011.12.11 17.32.00) dmp"

What the F%&k this means i have no idea, just very pee'd off.
Anyone help?

This isn't because of Steam, crashes sometimes happen with FM I've just learnt to deal with it.

Can you reload your game?

You running any kind of anti-virus or spyware scanning software on your machine? It may be causing some kind of conflict. I'd also advise your deleting your settings as shown here - http://community.sigames.com/showthr...=1#post7184731

I just hate steam full stop weather its linked to this or not!! (sorry) But learning to deal with it????? why?? you shouldnt have to, also my post says it now wont let me load a saved or new game so all ive got to deal with is all the spare time im now going to have!!

also its a crash, so it's FM related. how much editing did you do with FMRTE ?

when a crash occurs FM 'should' save a working copy of the crashed saved game, so load it all back up and it 'should' be there for you to load up.

You may have to reboot your laptop/desktop coputer before loading up the copy of crashed saved game though just incase
